Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Capítulo 1690: Chapter 267: Ambori’s Old Friend

Ambori’s face showed a disdainful expression: “Normally… those deities that later entered the upper planes are placed in the planes attached to Mount Celestia: like where the Goddess of Magic resides.

It’s said to be a corner of Mount Celestia, but in reality, it’s just a peripheral plane attached below.

After all, most deities wouldn’t want to be so heavily bound by the light of justice.

Among the lesser gods of the Goddess of Magic, there’s a skull, ha~ the justice of the Lich Lord~ that’s just a joke.

Those Gods of Order, their biggest skill is doing nothing at all, so they never break any rules.

They also wouldn’t and couldn’t possibly save anyone, at most they resist when someone attacks Mount Celestia.

Gods of Order have never been anything good!

But there’s nothing wrong with Mount Celestia.

It itself is the greatest guardian of order, and the aura of justice it emits ensures that even if people have all sorts of thoughts, as long as they don’t want to leave the shelter of Mount Celestia, they absolutely won’t act on them.

They won’t do anything.”

Ambori emphasized once again, showing disdain for those powerful deities before continuing: “Ha~ The deities of Toril, though they reside on the upper planes, no one would go to such a ghostly place.

Of course, those so-called Gods of Order don’t dare to deceive them.

Only those who know nothing, freshly beaten and bloodied by Asmodeus falling from the top of Mount Celestia, like the Greek pantheon, would think Mount Celestia to be an incomparably powerful place.”

Then she pursed her lips, having no choice but to admit: “Thanks to them being the first to be deceived, the other deities weren’t troubled.

After all… when Asmodeus entered the Abyssal Hell, Toril… was still nothing!

The Gods of Order hadn’t yet become the joke they are now.

Deities from remote places just entering the upper planes are indeed easy to believe that nonsense, that hell was knocked down by Mount Celestia then sealed for the Dark Angels and their leaders.

Who knew that group… those shameless ones… dared to speak nonsense while Asmodeus was asleep, recuperating!

Although their words weren’t lies, anyone listening would think… that the Lord of Hell was acting on their orders at that time.

Even the Bottomless Abyss was fooled for a long time, not daring to move.

In the end, tsk~

The consciousness of the Bottomless Abyss is not as weak as the broken nine layers of hell, it just sent a few probing lords, and the entrance to Mount Celestia, the so-called first layer, was invaded by demons.

Even the plane where Mount Olympia resides… because most of the Main Gods were in slumber, a weak deity was captured by a Demon Lord!

No matter how weak, he’s still a real deity!

It’s simply a joke!”

“Why are the Main Gods of Mount Olympia all in slumber?

Asmodeus has been in Hell for so long now!

The light of justice may have cleansed them, but it shouldn’t have killed them, right?” ‘Lu Huayu’ asked with curiosity, “Otherwise, Mount Celestia wouldn’t have accepted them in, right?

That place supposedly has its own set of operating laws, unaffected by any deity’s will?”

“Ah… it was their Main God back then who was determined to squeeze into Mount Celestia, named Zeus?” Ambori sneered, “He seemed to be charmed by something, thinking he could become the Controller of Mount Celestia.

Isn’t he the one playing with thunder and lightning!

The last one… um… you know about Tyr’s past, right?”

“Odin?” ‘Lu Huayu’ asked in surprise, “Weren’t they in their own world?”

“Yes!” Ambori lowered her head a bit mysteriously, “Do you know why AO valued Tyr so much, tricking him from that place?

Because when Odin appeared, Mount Celestia had a reaction… Odin, after all, also governs thunder and sky.”

Then she sneered coldly, “Unfortunately, Zeus didn’t know that the reason the previous god of thunder caused a stir in Mount Celestia was that Odin was originally living in the so-called light of justice, which is that bizarre positive energy plane.

Tsk, he who rolled in hell and reeked of that smell, really dreaming big!”

‘Lu Huayu’ stated with comprehension: “Ah… did strife break out within the Greek pantheon?

But the Grim Reaper, that’s Hades, couldn’t possibly enter the positive energy plane at all!

Besides him…”

“No, although the majority of deities on their side are quite dirty, there’s also a deity who was locked in Hell for a long time but didn’t catch the filth and stench at all, called Prometheus, and with part of those not really affected, what was it, the Virgin Goddess… The Greek pantheon has quite the illness, why do they have such weird god names?

Anyway, they wanted to get rid of Zeus.

Especially a female warrior who held a knife in one hand and a shield in the other. It was said she nearly split Zeus’s head open… and was shouting something about “an eye for an eye.”

“Prometheus and Athena.” ‘Lu Huayu’ muttered twice, then wiped his face and gave a bitter smile, “Well, they do fit their characters.”

“You know?” Ambori lowered his head with interest, “Tell me about it~

Especially the virgin Goddess… hey~ that Suren has always been one, and it probably won’t change in the future, but she definitely wouldn’t shout ‘I’ll always be a maiden.’

Aren’t they pretty strong?

The one with the bow is also quite skilled, so why bind herself like this… her life is so long, what if she wants to hook up with someone?”

‘Lu Huayu’ wiped his face again, steadied his mind, and said: “You still remember Duogasos, the Undead Black Dragon of Deepwater City?

The male gods of the Greek Gods are mostly even more obsessed with women than the Black Dragon… and Zeus is Duogasos magnified 100 times.

He doesn’t care about cold or heat, male or female, his own sons and daughters, and his brother’s wives are his targets of pursuit, and those who dare to refuse him end up miserably.”

Ambori opened his mouth, then whispered softly: “No wonder, just touching a bit of hell, turning around a bit, he’s been more assimilated by hell than any powerless mortal.

Back then, Heavenly Mountain did count on them, but never thought the result would be so… intense.”

“It’s all self-inflicted, Zeus having such an end was destined from the start.

But Gaia and the others must have been either escaping outside or trying to seize power in hell when the Lord of Hell killed them… right?”

Looking at Ambori’s disdainful eyes, ‘Lu Huayu’ knew he guessed correctly… Gaia can be below others, but that person must be chosen by her.

And with her control power over Chaos and Darkness in her God system, wanting to kill the heavily injured Asmodeus lying in the nineth layer of hell seemingly unable to move is righteous.

Sadly, her choices are always wrong.

So, she can only escape on her own, leaving behind the remnants of all her monster sons.

No wonder her current style has become so degrading… she originally had a personality to get what she wanted, and if she didn’t get it, she’d flip tables.

But due to various reasons, the Greek Gods can only choose to slowly weaken her, while the Lord of Hell certainly won’t, he might even be quite happy to have fresh flesh automatically delivered to him to feast upon!

No wonder before the Duke of Demons started sacrificing corpses of deities and powerful mages to Asmodeus’s Blood Pool, he had already been replenished with quite a bit of energy.

Those innate Divine Beings of Chaos and Darkness system, they sure replenish a lot.

“By the way, that one, Hades who arrived at the upper planes with Zeus and the others… does Ambori know where he is?” ‘Lu Huayu’ thought about the dagger’s appearance and frowned… he absorbed quite a bit of knowledge related to Greek Mythology recently, so he knew clearly that it wasn’t just Medusa and some sea venomous serpent goddesses who had snake hair.

“I don’t know.” Ambori shook his head, “Mount Olympia would know, is the thing that matters.

But those who parted ways with Zeus upon leaving hell, nobody cares.”

She pursed her lips and said frankly: “I used to only care about matters in Toril, things that reached my ears are things that would make the deities reminisce even tens of thousands of years later.”

Zeus’s matter, for the so-called Kind Alignment but those deities who didn’t dare squat in Positive Energy to get cleansed, yes indeed, deeply understand the extent of overturning a prior car.

‘Lu Huayu’ tilted his head with a smile: “This is enough, Ambori was really a big help.”

Although still not catching that clue, at least it confirms that there’s really no one on Zeus’s side who can reach out.

Otherwise, Poseidon and his family’s unfortunate events would always see the silhouette of Zeus’s lineage.

Then he hesitated for a while, and still couldn’t help but ask: “Ambori, where exactly did you hear these tens of thousands of years old news?

We’ve really asked many deities!”

“They wouldn’t care about stories before Toril was birthed!” Ambori of course understood who Undead Tribe mainly will ask, “I have some old friends from other worlds, they two… hey~ deities other than in Toril don’t exist.

So… you know?

I always felt, AO on Path of Destiny reacted so slowly, didn’t intervene at all, just because being truly frightened by that young couple.”

‘Lu Huayu’ reluctantly laughed… if not planning to let Shaer hear, Ambori would use her Divinity to build an exceptionally strong defensive egg.

He discreetly asked: “Ah, I didn’t expect that Ambori had other friends?”

“No, can’t call them friends, just a loose connection.” Ambori immediately denied the exaggeration she just used to mock Silvermoon and Dark Moon, “You should have heard? The Wanderers’ Alliance of sea and sky.”

“Ah? But…”

“There is one who never stays, rarely communicates with outsiders, Mr. Singer.” Ambori said smugly, “But he’s willing to talk to me about past tales!”
