Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2227: Forceful kill

White Robeʼs words echoed in the cave, seemingly having no effect, but in places everyone could not see for the time being, Little Ninth Brotherʼs already terrifying face had twisted to the point of deforming.

The changes to his body and genes had made Little Ninth Brother no longer normal. He had rationality, but he had become extreme. Hearing these people say that the reason they had found this place was that he was too stupid, his heart was about to explode. Anger and hatred consumed all of him.

He felt this was an insult to him, as if it looked down on his intelligence.

Originally, his mentality had already changed after he became neither human nor ghost. Hearing this now further stimulated this once-calm hunter from Earth.

He began to snort and pant heavily. His long neck continuously retracted and bunched up, gradually forming a round, thick body. Only then did they see that behind Little Ninth Brother, there was another cave, and Little Ninth Brotherʼs neck was inside that cave.

Wen Hong, in some gap, looked at Little Ninth Brother through the reflection on her metal weapons. After seeing his condition, she said nothing but suddenly took three steps forward, rather risking injury and being hit by those symbols to do so.

At first, Jie Su and White Dragon Horse did not know why. Only later did they discover that this was to make room for Little Ninth Brother.

White Robe struck for the first time during Wen Hongʼs sudden three steps.

He suddenly appeared from the shadow on Wen Hongʼs left. Without any major movement, he approached his target like a ghost. Wen Hong had been engaged in a lively fight with White Dragon Horse. The timing of White Robeʼs appearance coincided with her exertion gap. This White Order Leader was also silent and devoid of any murderous intent. By the time Wen Hong noticed, one of White Robeʼs hands had suddenly burst with light, about to land on her arm.

Wen Hong knew there was no time to dodge. She gave a muffled grunt, and a layer of metallic color appeared on the part of her arm that White Robe was about to touch.
The light landed on it, causing two surprising changes.

First, a section of Wen Hongʼs arm suddenly caved in. The thickest part of her arm was at its thinnest, only half its original thickness. It seemed to be caused by White Robeʼs attack, but also seemed not to be.

Second, after the attack, White Robe disappeared again, just like before, with no one knowing where he had gone. When he reappeared, he was behind Wen Hong.

Very, very close to where he had launched the attack just now. The only difference was that he had moved from Wen Hongʼs side to behind her.

And what was terrifying was that White Robeʼs hand had somehow already reached beneath Wen Hongʼs raised arm, at her armpit.

White Robe raised his arm upward, and Wen Hongʼs left arm detached from her body.

It was too fast, so fast that Wen Hong had no chance to react.

However, Wen Hong had been an expert on Earth during the same era, and she was the same here. While realizing it was too late, the iron chains that had been connected to her body behind her moved. The two closest to White Robe suddenly whipped toward him. Just as Wen Hongʼs severed arm fell toward the ground, she completed her counterattack.

White Robe disappeared again, leaving only a patch of bloodstains behind Wen Hong.

Wen Hong lost control of her emotions once more, for the first time since seeing Ye Zhongming earlier. She roared and bellowed, as if she had gone completely mad.

Perhaps she and Little Ninth Brother had already gone mad.

From her wound, countless strands of metal burst forth with her roars. They were long, conical, tentacle-like things with alternating black and yellow stripes. As they continuously grew longer, they sometimes tangled together and sometimes separated in all directions.

At the same time, all the iron chains behind her flew to the front and, together with these tentacles, formed a whip array of varying lengths, madly attacking White Dragon Horse and Jie Su.

The nature of her metal allowed these metal whips to quickly recover even if a section was cut off or destroyed, while their power could leave marks on White Dragon Horseʼs body.

At this moment, both Wen Hong and White Dragon Horse were covered in a layer of glow, a phenomenon unique to great expert realm beings when fighting desperately.

Both were body-type beings, and they had reached the most critical point of their clash.

Jie Suʼs expression was calm, but inwardly he was slightly anxious.

White Robeʼs attack just now had been the result of his and White Dragon Horseʼs coordination. They had held off Wen Hong to create an opportunity for White Robe to land a killing blow.

Unfortunately, White Robe had failed.

Otherwise, what would have fallen would not have been Wen Hongʼs arm, but her head.

Clearly, White Robe had not found a chance for a killing blow and could only settle for the next best thing, taking off one of Wen Hongʼs arms.

However, at least from the current look of things, it did not seem to affect this being fused with metal too greatly.

Now, there were only a little over two minutes left until the end.

The accompanying formation above Jie Suʼs head retracted, returning to its original form. His body retreated directly to where Ye Zhongming and the others were.

”Switch. Leave the parasites to me.”

Jie Su knew that even if he switched to a different type of accompanying formation now, he might not be able to achieve much in a short time. Since that was the case, it was better to free up Ye Zhongming and the others to see if there was any way.

Even if they could not kill Wen Hong, perhaps they could take out Little Ninth Brother first, since both Ye Zhongming and the Mechanical Prodigy could attack multiple points at once.

Ye Zhongming and the others did not yield. The three of them stopped their attacks and switched positions with Jie Su. The latter stood behind them, acting as their final barrier.

The accompanying formation reappeared. Above and below were actually the same type of formation, both greenish with a dense, misty quality.

After that, from the formations above and below, countless sharp little ice picks, the size of fingers, shot out, overwhelming the areas infested with parasites.

No one knew how many of these little ice picks there were. Emitted under Jie Suʼs control, few parasites could block them. Previously, these ugly creatures had been blocked inside the cave entrances, unable to get out. Now, these ice picks even pinned down some of them inside the cave entrances, dead.

With a crash, the little girl who had just switched positions suddenly flew backward and fell not far from Jie Su. The little girl struggled twice, trying to get up, but only ended up spitting out two mouthfuls of blood.

She had not been paying attention and was struck by one of the iron chains behind Wen Hong, getting injured.

”Fall back!” The Mechanical Prodigyʼs voice carried a hint of urgency.

When not at the great expert level, for him, Ye Zhongming, and the others to pose a threat to the enemy, they would naturally have to use ranged attacks. But who would have thought that this fool would charge in with her long-handled axe and confront the enemy head-on? They were simply not on the same level.

Upon hearing this, the little girlʼs eyes lit up. With blood still in her mouth, she smiled and asked, ”My Mayo, are you concerned about me?”

Mechanical Prodigy: ”...”

But it seemed the little girl did not care whether the Mechanical Prodigy answered. She took out a dark, unappealing pill from her body and stuffed it into her mouth. After that, she, who had been unable to stand up, actually jumped to her feet.

”Iʼll clear the way for you. End the battle quickly, and then put me in ice water!”

After speaking, she took a running start with her long-handled axe, leaped high, and chopped down toward Wen Hong.
