Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2211: Finally meeting (2)

Jie Su showed no particular expression, but White Robe was surprised. He looked at Ye Zhongming.

He was very certain that although this monsterʼs voice was extremely unpleasant, it was the same language that Ye Zhongming would occasionally speak a word or two of when he first arrived.

That is to say, Ye Zhongming and these two strange lifeforms came from the same home planet, and even from the same faction.

Ye Zhongming looked at the two caves, his mind rapidly imagining the possible people from the Chinese region who might have come up.

The Resistance Zone? No, Ji Ruiguang had been in contact with him. They were now in the same camp.

Mu Hanyi? No, his situation was the same as Ji Ruiguangʼs. The people from the Chinese region up in the sky now could all be considered allies. If any of them were here, he would definitely have received word.

What about that Gold and Silver Island?

That was possible, but they mostly spoke English rather than Chinese. From that perspective, they could also be ruled out.

Then... who were these two?

The giant shadow that appeared first did not speak. Instead, it stepped forward, and the rumbling sound followed.
After two steps, the shadow stopped. It had reached the very edge of the cave, and vaguely, even half a foot was stepping outside.

The next moment, this shadow directly jumped down from the cave.

With a boom, the entire mountain belly shook with it. Both of its feet sank into the metal floor of the mountain belly.

The corners of the eyes of the three people and one dragon twitched.

They had seen it before: the metal floor here was extremely firm. Although they had never tested it, they could not probably cause such great damage.

Perhaps Jie Su could do so after advancing to a great expert.

Now that it was closer, Ye Zhongmingʼs gaze, through the sparks, looked at the face of this giant shadow.

Crimson Desert - Chapter 2: Where The Light Leads: Reading Memory Fragments | Visione Tutorial

At first glance, he was startled.

This face was too terrifying.

The most eye-catching thing was that on the cheekbones, there were two things like rusted metal protruding out, then going all the way down, hooking back at the chin, piercing directly into the neck, then coming out from the collarbone, then going further down.

But below that, it could not be seen, covered by a piece of armor that was red in color, as if formed by dried blood.

On its head, there was also a ring of metal things with no order at all, as if all had grown out of the skull. One eye was completely replaced by a metal block, moving with its gaze. Every time it moved, fluid flowed from the gap between the metal block and the eye socket.

Its entire body was covered in metal, looking spotted, bloody. The overall feeling was like a... person of metal and flesh pierced together.

Several thick iron chains were wrapped around its body, clattering loudly.

The shock in Ye Zhongmingʼs heart was like a nuclear explosion.

He roughly recognized who this person was.

”Hehe, I, from your, eyes, can see, you recognize me.”

This giant figure spoke. At first, it seemed a bit uncomfortable, but later it became somewhat more fluent. Only the harsh noise like metal rubbing in its voice made the three people and one dragon frown.

”You know him?” White Robe finally could not hold back his doubt and asked Ye Zhongming.

Ye Zhongming hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

Although this personʼs face had merged with metal, becoming neither human nor ghost, he could still vaguely discern a bit of the original appearance.

At this moment, from the other cave, the lifeform that had spoken earlier also came down from above. But unlike the first shadow, this one ʼextendedʼ down directly from above.

Only then did everyone see clearly that this lifeform was even stranger than the one before.

The previous strange lifeform seemed to have merged with metal. This one, apart from its face, basically had nothing left that was related to a human.

Its head had no hair. On top of its head were greenish bumps. At the tips of these bumps were small holes. At this moment, a thick, light black liquid was flowing out of these small holes. Some of it would flow down its face into its mouth, which seemed unable to close completely. The feeling... was disgusting.

And below its head was a long, round, rolling body like a python, extending all the way into the cave without its tail being seen. It was covered with colorful toad skin, also covered in a layer of sticky stuff, emitting a pungent odor that could even be smelled where the three people and one dragon were.

”Remember me, right?”

This ʼmonsterʼ looked at Ye Zhongming and smiled. ”Since you recognized her, itʼs impossible you donʼt recognize me. At least this face of mine is easier to recognize than hers.”

As it spoke, even more of that liquid flowed into its mouth, making Jie Su and the others unable to bear looking directly.

”For so many years, we have dreamed of being able to kill you. Unfortunately, we have been trapped here and cannot get out. We passed the divine trials but cannot leave. We have all this power but cannot use it. Do you know how desperate we are? Do you know how desperate we are?”

By the end, it was already roaring in anger.

”Ye Zhongming! Ye Zhongming!”

This later monsterʼs emotions suddenly went out of control.

”Do you still recognize me? I am Little Ninth Brother of the Glory Army! It was you, you forced me here! It was you who made me look like this! It was you who harmed me like this! You must die. No, you wonʼt die. I will turn you into my slave, to be driven by me, forever enslaved by me!”

An extreme resentment burst forth from Little Ninth Brotherʼs words. Anyone could clearly feel the hatred in his heart.

”Wen Hong?”

Ye Zhongming did not answer Little Ninth Brother. Instead, he looked at that giant shadow.

”Hehe, itʼs me.” Wen Hong was not so out of control, but her expression, the way she looked at Ye Zhongming, made it easy for anyone to see that her hatred was no less than Little Ninth Brotherʼs.

”This place is indeed a secret realm...”

Ye Zhongming, at this moment, what he cared about most was actually the thing he had confirmed after seeing these two ʼacquaintancesʼ.

At the same time, Ye Zhongming thought: when these two people had been forced by him to activate the secret realm key and enter the secret realm, their evolution level had been low. After coming here, from the sound of it, they had also been selected by the mountain belly and begun a series of trials, and had even passed them.

With their strength, how had they passed?

If the difficulty of the trials were the same for all participants, then with the strength of these two people, they probably would not have passed even the first round.

Yet they were alive and very powerful. What secret lay in this?

Perhaps the mysterious existence in the mountain belly arranged the trials according to the strength of the participants.

Or perhaps these two people had undergone some evolution on the planet before coming here at some point?

At this moment, that previous voice sounded from within this mysterious mountain belly.

”After passing one more trial and completing the third stage, you will obtain thirty percent information level.”
