Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2205: No explanation

White Robeʼs target was a captain of the Zhengji Clan. The Silver Order Leader recognized him. This person had once served in the city guard. During one mission, he had used Star-Eye Clan warriors as cannon fodder, causing the deaths of two warriors.

And all the credit for the mission had gone to him. The two warriors who had made the greatest contributions were instead labeled as having made mistakes. Not only did they receive no compensation, but they also carried a dishonorable reputation.

White Robe still remembered the heart-wrenching cries of their relatives when the clan held funerals for the two warriors with its own money.

White Robe had wanted to kill this person for a long time.

His breathing became faint as he watched the target directing some people to set up defenses. White Robe smiled and slowly withdrew from this tent. Moments later, a fire started not far from there.

The wind was strong and the night was dark—perfect for killing and for the spread of flames.

Many people with water-based abilities rushed toward the area. The fire there would likely be quickly extinguished, but the chaos it had already caused was apparent.

Because the fire was near his defense zone, that Zhengji Clan captain, accompanied by one person, approached to check the situation. As he walked near a lampstand, the shadow of a nearby tent suddenly came alive. A dim, cold light slashed across the neck of... the guard beside him.

Blood sprayed onto him. The captain paused for a moment, then let out a roar and chased after the assailant with his weapon, heading into the tent.

In the instant of the attack, he had instinctively made a judgment: the attackerʼs ability was not strong—at least weaker than his. It should be one of those Star-Eye Clan newcomers, their Bronze Order Leader.
He naturally knew the news that the Star-Eye Clan had eliminated the Huaitang Clan. But at that time, he had not been qualified to enter the clan leaderʼs tent, so he could not experience the shock of someone throwing the Huaitang clan leaderʼs head onto the table. In his view, the Su Clan had helped the Star-Eye Clan, which was why they had achieved such a result.

The Su Clan member who was just now with them had indeed been with them, which further supported this.

Whether it was that Su Clan member, that dragon, or even that Silver Order Leader, this captain had no confidence in dealing with them. But this Bronze Order Leader, with only a few thousand Furelai, he could still kill or even capture alive. That would be a great achievement!

So he followed his instinct and chased inside. What greeted him was a blade light that filled his entire field of vision.

The captain raised his weapon to defend himself, but his arm hurt, and it fell. His other hand used an ability, but it hit empty space, failing to strike the target.

Then, a weapon kept entering and exiting his body, causing intense pain. And when he wanted to shout, a punch sent his teeth and voice back down his throat, a stifling feeling.

Two seconds later, he lost his life. Nothing mattered anymore.

White Robe searched the captainʼs body and then left.

He was about to look for his next target.

………………

”Jie Su, donʼt you think you owe us an explanation?”

A person stood at the edge of the forest, looking at Jie Su, who had stopped there.

Whether it was White Robe or Ye Zhongming, they could kill without any burden. But the young man before them was different. He was an important figure of the Su Clan, and it was said that even Clan Leader Yaohan Su thought highly of him.

If they could convince him to leave, that would naturally be the best outcome.

”What... explanation do you want?” Jie Su asked with a light laugh.

His gaze swept past them, looking toward the places where Ye Zhongming and White Robe had disappeared. This made these people of the Eight Heads very uncomfortable.

It was a scorn that came from the very bones.

”Explain why you appeared here. Explain why you ran.”

The speaker tried to keep himself calm.

”I donʼt think itʼs necessary,” Jie Su said, looking around and moving his body slightly.

This immediately put the people around him on alert.

”I think itʼs very necessary!”

Another person walked forward a few steps and stood to the side of Jie Su. Together with the first speaker and three others, they formed an encirclement of nearly 270 degrees around Jie Su. When necessary, they could attack together.

Behind them were over two hundred of their respective guards and subordinates.

”If you donʼt give us an explanation voluntarily, then we will have no choice but to capture you and let your Su Clan give the explanation.”

This person released his pressure, warning Jie Su, and also signaling his companions to prepare to act.

Jie Suʼs smile broadened. ”To be honest, you really are not worthy.”

”Whether we are worthy or not is not for you to decide,” that personʼs attitude remained tough.

Jie Su suddenly looked at him and asked, ”Who are you?”

”The clan leader of the Zhengji Clan.”

That person answered.

”Oh, the leader of the most powerful clan in Dark Strip City,” Jie Su said with a very pleased expression. ”Very good. This way, my two brothers will have an easier time.”

The others did not know what he meant by this, but Jie Suʼs raised hand told them.

He was about to kill.

Two enormous formations appeared above Jie Suʼs head and beneath his feet. The formation above rolled with thunderclouds; the formation below shone with radiant light.

The people around them were stunned for a moment, not knowing what this ability was.

What they feared was the Su Clan behind Jie Su, not Jie Su himself. A young Su Clan member not skilled in combat simply could not make them feel danger.

But the moment this ability appeared, they felt an extremely strong pressure, so strong that their bodies unconsciously began to tremble.

”A... great expert?!”

They did not recognize what this skill was, but they could absolutely sense the level of the person before them.

In their intelligence, Jie Su was definitely not a great expert. In fact, he was still far from it. The likelihood of him becoming a great expert within ten years was only about fifty percent.

But now...

”You have seen things you should not have seen, appeared in places you should not have appeared, offended people you should not have offended, and occupied cities you should not have occupied.”

Jie Su walked directly toward them. The two formations, one above and one below, moved with him.

”So, you all must die.”

After saying these words, Jie Suʼs speed suddenly increased. He did not look at all like a Su Clan member not skilled in combat, but rather like a top warrior skilled in combat.

The formation beneath his feet emitted strands of light, continuously imbuing Jie Suʼs body, causing his condition to continue improving at this moment. And the thunderclouds above his head, originally contained within the formation, suddenly expanded under Jie Suʼs control at a certain moment, leaving the formationʼs range and covering a large area around them.

Then, thunder rained down like a downpour!
