Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2214: Information right

After the White Dragon Horse successfully evolved into a great expert, a problem was presented to everyone.

Now Jie Su and the White Dragon Horse no longer needed reward points. The only ones who needed them were Ye Zhongming and White Robe. Their current reward points were 4865 and 3404, respectively.

And their Furelai, after these rounds of battles, had become 31,001 and 34,099 respectively.

The difference was actually not that great.

Now, the White Dragon Horse had used a portion of the free points, leaving 2,778 points left.

At the current exchange rate, these points were equivalent to over 10,000 Furelai points. That was not a small number.

How to distribute them? That was the problem.

Given that the two peopleʼs Furelai were quite similar, and neither was close to reaching the great expert level, it seemed it would not matter who they were given to.

”Give them to White Robe.”

”Give them to Old Ye.”
Ye Zhongming and White Robe spoke almost simultaneously.

The two looked at each other, then both smiled.

”Maybe you two should split them half and half?” Jie Su said half-jokingly.

He actually thought the same way. Since neither had much hope of becoming a great expert here, splitting them half and half would allow each to make a bit of progress. That would be good.

But clearly, his two friends did not think so. First, White Robe said, ”Looking at the near term, Old Yeʼs combat effectiveness after transforming is infinitely close to a great expert. If he gets these points, plus his own, I canʼt be certain, but it should be enough to push him beyond that line during transformation, making him a true great expert level. So giving these points to him is more cost-effective and will help us more.”

Hearing White Robe say this, Jie Su thought for a moment and nodded. Indeed, Ye Zhongmingʼs combat effectiveness after transforming was very strong. If he could surpass the great expert level, then perhaps they could go through another round of future challenges?

”Looking at the long term, Old Ye has already become a symbolic figure for our Star-Eye Clan. In the future, he will increasingly stand at the center of the entire cosmic races. The sooner he enters a higher level, the more advantageous it is for our Star-Eye Clan. Giving him these points is much more valuable than giving them to me.”

Previously, the Star-Eye Clan had relied on White Robe and others to hold on barely. But now it was different. Ye Zhongming had gradually replaced White Robe as the public face of the Star-Eye Clan. Although this process had been passive, it was already an accomplished fact.

For such a figure, naturally, the stronger the better.

White Robe almost convinced Jie Su.

Everything Ye Zhongming had shown was indeed worth investing in. The stronger he became, the stronger their alliance would become.

Even the White Dragon Horse turned its head to look at Ye Zhongming.

Previously, its Furelai had been higher than Ye Zhongmingʼs. Without Ye Zhongming transforming, they could always fight to a draw. After he transformed, it was naturally no match.

If Ye Zhongming got these free points and his Furelai suddenly became 50,000 or 60,000, then after transforming, the White Dragon Horse would again be no match for him. Theoretically, he would already be stronger than it again.

This traitor dragon clan member suddenly felt a bit wistful. The time of freedom had been too short.

Ye Zhongming listened and smiled. ”You have your reasons, and I have mine.”

He said to his two brothers, ”We still have one more trial. We will get some more points. In the next round, I will be able to transform, so the points I get should be about the same as Jie Su and the White Dragon Horse, certainly more than you. After the trial ends, your gain will be the smallest. We have all been through life-and-death situations together, yet because of your combat characteristics, you get the least. That is not fair.”

”I donʼt think thatʼs a very good reason,” White Robe said. He wanted to say more, but Ye Zhongming stopped him.

”Then let me put it another way,” Ye Zhongming said with a smile. ”After I came here, in less than a year, my strength has improved very quickly, almost catching up to you. To reach the great expert level, the time I need will certainly be much, much shorter than yours. If these points are given to me, I will reach that level faster, while you will still need a long time. But if the points are given to you, you will advance within a certain period, and so will I.”

”The result is that for both of us to become great experts, giving the points to you requires a shorter time, while giving them to me takes longer. In other words, giving the points to you will allow us to have stronger overall strength in a shorter time. That is the true cost-effectiveness.”

Jie Su nodded. That way of putting it also made sense. If White Robe evolved normally, no one knew how many years it would take for him to reach the threshold of a great expert, perhaps five years, perhaps ten. By the time he succeeded in evolving, the time would indeed be a bit too late.

But Ye Zhongming was different... Whether one admitted it or not, he was a genius. He might advance in two or three years. From that perspective, indeed, White Robe needed these points more.

”You are looking down on me!” White Robe said unhappily. ”Although I am not as much of a genius as you, my progress has also been very fast recently. Even if I reach the great expert level later than you, it wonʼt be by much. And a symbolic figure like you, the sooner you can go out and take the lead, the more things we can do.”

White Robe still did not agree with Ye Zhongmingʼs reasoning.

Ye Zhongming shook his head helplessly. ”Apart from these reward points, I also have other internal and external forces helping me, allowing us to go smoothly, quickly, and stably. Do you have that?”

”Arenʼt you my external force?” White Robe said somewhat playfully.

The Cloud Peak King had a headache. He thought for a moment and said, ”Give them to you. Itʼs decided. Because your other half is about to become a great expert. If you fall too far behind, your family status will be in jeopardy. What do you say, Jie Su?”

Jie Su was stunned, then smiled and nodded. ”I think what you think is right.”

White Robe was dumbfounded on the side... That works?

After deciding the home of these points, Ye Zhongmingʼs and White Robeʼs points became 4865 and 6182 respectively. White Robe did not continue to push back. He directly exchanged them all for Furelai, which could be done at any time, out of order. Thus, his total Furelai became 58,827.

White Robe felt the powerful energy in his body, feeling wistful.

Now, he should be second only to the two clan leaders and Cheng Liujin, Bashilu, and others in the Star-Eye Clan. He could already touch the edge of the top five.

He looked at Ye Zhongming gratefully. Everything was said without words.

After exchanging the points, the three people and one dragon were again teleported to the final round of the third stage. After an extremely tough battle, they successfully completed the trial and were once again teleported back to the belly of the mountain.

”Third stage of trials completed. You will again receive thirty percent information right.”

After the familiar voice, the three people and one dragon found themselves brought into the ʼvideoʼ. They began ʼwatchingʼ the scenes from before, continuing.
