I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 698: Chapter 6: Van Nistelrooy and Specialized Improvement_2

He feared that if he didn’t let him speak, others would write something even more outrageous.

At this point, Manchester City’s press officer was already contemplating how to write his resignation letter.

But fortunately, Balotelli finally returned to normal at this time.

Regarding some of his Manchester City teammates, Balotelli gave high praise. He said, ”Adam Johnson has excellent skills, and Adebayor is the funniest one. When I first arrived, Vieira and Kolarov gave me great help.”

In the eyes of many, Adebayor may be trouble, but to the ”naïve” Balotelli, he could understand Adebayor’s humor that was often overlooked, after all, he is Mario Balotelli.

Manchester City’s press officer smiled, although, but still.

At least this segment went well, today he made it through ”alive.”

However, Balotelli is a roller-coaster professional, committed to making Manchester City’s press officer feel the roller-coaster joy.

The Italian switched to criticizing the English media.

”England is far ahead in stadiums and atmosphere but lags far behind in media; the newspapers here are garbage.”

Manchester City’s press officer: ???

Reporters: Yo!

Balotelli: I hold grudges.

Balotelli had a feud with the British media, and the reason for saying this is because the British media exposed him for cheating on his ex-girlfriend Sophie with a friend of hers.

Now, in front of reporters, when asked about this issue, he solemnly stated, ”All I can say is, I met Sophie once, then she launched an assault on me, but her friend interested me more.”

Manchester City’s press officer was resigned, but in the end, Balotelli still gave him a surprise.

Some media asked about the Serie A situation, perhaps expecting Balotelli to rant about his former club like he did about Chen Zhong, but this time he spoke quite well.

Of course, well from their perspective.

Talking about the Serie A situation, Balotelli said, ”Who will win the Serie A title? My instinct would say AC Milan, but if I think more, I’d say Inter, they gave me so much.”

”If I think again, then I hope Naples wins! I really want to play with Cavani.”

”The best player in Serie A is Ibrahimovic, he’s almost from another planet, and I would choose Giovinco as the best young Italian player.”

Manchester City’s press officer: ???

Do you know what you’re saying?

...

Meanwhile, while the winter window hasn’t completely closed, a man is striving to return to Real Madrid, and he is Van Nistelrooy.

The question of whether Real Madrid will have a center forward in the winter window has been a constant speculation.

Recently, this news has also reached a new conclusion.

Real Madrid’s winter window target is either Van Nistelrooy or the B team’s Morata.

Spain’s Diario AS’s chief reporter Thomas Longero revealed that Real Madrid’s president has made a decision, and this decision will not change.

Clearly, regarding the introduction of a center forward, Florentino is also fed up, he wants to cut through the mess quickly: either introduce Van Nistelrooy, or bring in no one.

Real Madrid’s top management has always highly regarded Mourinho’s wisdom and on-field command capabilities. After Mourinho delivered such a half-season report leading Real Madrid this season, they are willing to give Mourinho some perks, such as the center forward issue, but this perk is also limited.

”The issue of introducing a No. 9 center forward should stop here! Enough!” Florentino has decided, in January, either introduce Van Nistelrooy or no one else, and instead, give Morata more playing time.

The reason Florentino approved the action to introduce Van Nistelrooy is that he believes recalling Van the Man would cost the club nothing as the Dutchman could join Real Madrid as a free agent.

Van Nistelrooy is indeed striving to return to Real Madrid, but the Hamburg club is facing a shortage of forwards themselves, and they don’t want to let Van Nistelrooy leave.

In an internal meeting, a confidant of Florentino stated, ”At present, introducing Van Nistelrooy is very difficult, if Hamburg continues to refuse to release him, then we will have to give up. We are grateful for the efforts Van Nistelrooy has made, but Real Madrid won’t pay for him, knowing that a year ago we let him join Hamburg for free.”

This confidant of Florentino also revealed that Real Madrid has devised a sole alternative plan for Mourinho. This alternative is not to introduce Klose or Adebayor.

The chosen player is homegrown, with 7 letters: cantera (youth academy).

Among them, the most eye-catching is the 18-year-old main striker of the B team, Morata, who scored 3 goals in the last 2 games, and each carried a beautiful arc.

Real Madrid’s top management states, ”The youth academy has always been part of Real Madrid’s DNA, and Mourinho should understand this. Between players like Hugo Almeida and youth academy players, Real Madrid will definitely choose youth academy players.”

In the lobby of a hotel in Almeria, Real Madrid’s top management cheered and celebrated after watching Morata’s beautiful goal last weekend on TV, they shouted, ”This is our No. 9, and more importantly, ’introducing’ him costs us not a single euro!” In fact, besides Morata, other players of the B team like Sarabia, Juanfran, Juan Carlos, also fill Real Madrid’s top management with expectations, ”These young guys have the ability to play in the first team, and Mourinho has a 4-year contract, if he has enough patience, some of them can succeed from the youth academy.”
