Chapter 19: Chapter 19 Ungrateful

But what to do tonight? Chu Hao decided to go home, watch some videos, and handle it himself.

A lone man surrounded by a bevy of beauties, all dining together. Chu Hao’s eyes nearly popped out at the sight of the luxurious spread. He was just a poor loser who had never experienced such extravagant food! It wasn’t that I didn’t want to show off, but before, I was just too poor.

After eating and drinking, they were ushered into a KTV private room to sing—it was like a one-stop service, for real! What followed in the private room was almost too beautiful to imagine. Even the waiter left the room with an envious look on his face.

The short-haired model, Ji Bingbing, approached Chu Hao, wrapped her arms around his, leaned in close, and cooed, ”Little Taoist Master, can you sing? Let me pick a song for you.”

”I... I can’t.”

”Then let’s drink,” Ji Bingbing winked, her eyes exceptionally pretty, like those of a vixen.

”Sure.”

The busty model, Zhou Ziqing, also came over, looping her arm through Chu Hao’s other arm. ”I’m in, I’m in too,” she chimed.

Chu Hao remembered her well. She had been pestering him in the car to give her a massage. This busty model was truly magnificent; he’d nearly had a nosebleed just looking at her.

”Two little bees, flying into the flowers, fly, fly!”

Manager Yue and Luo Yan were speechless. Chu Hao was incredibly popular; the models were throwing themselves at him and didn’t even mind him taking small advantages.

Luo Yan giggled. ”I’m in too.”

Everyone was having a blast when suddenly, the door burst open, and a drunken youth stumbled in. His eyes went wide at the sight of a room full of beauties. He plopped down unceremoniously and threw an arm around a young model.

”SLAP!” Angered, the model slapped him hard across the face. ”What do you think you’re doing?” she demanded.

”You dare hit me?” The somewhat drunk youth clutched his cheek, seething.

The model was just as furious. ”Damn right I hit you!”

”Screw your mom!” The youth staggered to his feet and swung a slap at her.

The model screamed, drawing the attention of everyone who had been enjoying themselves.

Manager Yue’s expression darkened, and she asked, ”Who are you?”

Seeing their colleague assaulted, the other women were incensed. They all stood up, confronting the youth.

The youth, stinging from the slap, roared in anger, ”Your mothers are all whores! A bunch of sluts! It was just a little touch, wasn’t it? I’ve got plenty of money! Hurry up and come drink with me!”

These words utterly infuriated the women.

Ji Bingbing, ever the fierce one, strode over in her high heels and stomped hard on the youth’s foot.

Chu Hao winced. That must have hurt a lot, right?

”AAH!”

The youth shrieked in agony, pointing an enraged, contorted finger at Ji Bingbing. He lunged at her, intent on teaching the little vixen a lesson.

Ji Bingbing was startled. Just then, Manager Yue stepped in. She was even more formidable; she grabbed an empty bottle from nearby and smashed it hard on the youth’s head. He immediately let out an agonized scream.

Chu Hao winced again. These women... they’re not to be trifled with, he thought, breaking out in a cold sweat.

Clutching his bleeding head, the youth snarled, ”You... you’ll all pay for this!” before staggering out.

After he left, everyone finally breathed a sigh of relief.

”Yeye, are you okay?” Ji Bingbing asked, checking on the girl who had been hit.

”I’m... I’m fine,” Yeye stammered, somewhat shaken, her tender white face already showing five distinct finger marks.

Manager Yue was deeply angered that her employee had been inexplicably bullied. Even though she had smashed a bottle on the bully’s head, she still felt terrible. The women discussed finding someone to make the youth apologize.

Just then, the door opened again, and several menacing-looking men strode in.

”Ma Wen, you’re a disgrace! Getting beaten by a woman!” one of them jeered.

These young men clearly carried themselves like wealthy scions. Seeing a room full of women and one naive-looking young man, they weren’t particularly angry; instead, they seemed to find Ma Wen’s predicament amusing.

His courage bolstered by alcohol, Ma Wen yelled, ”Enough with the damn gloating! Get revenge for our brother!”

The long-haired youth leading them asked, ”Alright, how do we settle this?”

Manager Yue retorted angrily, ”Settle what? He barged into our private room and assaulted someone! He needs to apologize immediately, or I’m calling the police!”

Ma Wen was indeed in the wrong, but these young men were all aggressive and unfazed by Yue Shanshan’s threat to call the police.

”Fuck you, bitch! I’ll kill you today!” Ma Wen shrieked, completely losing control and lunging forward.

Color drained from Manager Yue’s face. Looks like we’ve run into some real thugs today, she thought.

At that moment, KTV security guards arrived, along with a man dressed like a manager. He quickly asked, ”Young Master Ma, what happened? You were having such a good time just a moment ago.”

After hearing the sequence of events, the KTV manager felt helpless. Ma Wen was undoubtedly at fault for barging in, harassing someone, and then hitting them. However, he couldn’t afford to offend Young Master Ma. So, he said, ”Miss, perhaps we can just let this matter of the apology rest?”

Luo Yan flared up. ”What do you mean, ’let it rest’? *He* owes *us* an apology!”

All eyes turned to Luo Yan. Many of the men couldn’t help but swallow hard; she was stunningly beautiful, with exceptionally rare, long legs.

Ma Wen’s face was a mask of fury. He looked like the typical spoiled rich kid who feared nothing. ”Apologize? My ass!” he roared.

”You!” Luo Yan was trembling with anger.

Manager Yue, however, was no ordinary person. She declared, ”Call the police. Let the People’s Police handle this. I’d like to see who’s really in the right today.”

Everyone stared as she took out her phone, ready to dial.

But the long-haired youth said coldly, ”Calling the police won’t solve anything. My friend was in the wrong today, sure. But you smashed his head open. How are we going to settle *that*?”

The women were absolutely infuriated. This group was clearly looking for trouble, their eyes raking over the women lecherously.

Chu Hao felt it was time for him to step up. After all, he was the only male on their side among so many women. He stood and said, ”You’re the ones in the wrong here. Apologize to them immediately.”

Unexpectedly, Ma Wen snarled, ”Who the hell do you think you are!” fre(e)webnove.l.c.om

Holy crap! Chu Hao thought. I was already holding back my temper, and you dare curse me? Do you think my title of Divine Master Bi Wang is just for show?

Chu Hao shot back, ”And who the hell are you? What kind of family raised a creature like you? Were you a rabid dog in your past life, biting everyone you see?”

”Ding... Host has successfully shown off, earning 3 Pretentiousness Points.”

The group of youths was struck speechless. Ma Wen was even more furious, glaring malevolently at Chu Hao.

Yue Shanshan, worried about Chu Hao getting into deeper trouble, interjected, ”Little Taoist Master Chu Hao, please don’t say any more. I’ll handle this.” With that, she prepared to call the police again.

”Foul bitch!” Ma Wen, likely completely drunk, lunged forward with a furious kick aimed at Yue Shanshan.

Chu Hao reacted instantly, pulling Yue Shanshan aside just in time. Otherwise, the kick would have landed squarely on her chest. His expression grew increasingly icy, while Yue Shanshan looked at him with gratitude.

At this critical moment, Chu Hao remained surprisingly calm. ”Alright,” he said. ”What do you want?”

Ma Wen sneered, ”Have these ladies drink with us bros, and we’ll call it even.”

The long-haired youth also nodded, his friends all leering at the women. So, this was their real goal.

Chu Hao turned to the KTV manager. ”Aren’t you going to do anything?”

The manager was caught in a bind. He truly couldn’t afford to offend Ma Wen. He knew these youths were aggressive, but he hadn’t expected them to be so brazen, so unbelievably arrogant.

Ma Wen crossed his arms, a cold smirk on his face. ”Just have them drink with us. It’s not like we’re asking for their lives. Calling the police is useless. Worst case, we spend a little time in lockup. Once we’re out, we’ll just come find you again.”

The women’s faces turned pale.

Chu Hao picked up a nearby wine bottle. With a flick of his wrist, he sent it spinning in a graceful arc, smashing it violently against Ma Wen’s head.

”SMACK!!”

”Shameless bastard! What a piece of trash!”
