Ghost Catching System

Chapter 15: Chapter 15 Today I’ll Calculate It For You Properly_1

Following Luo Yan down from the bridge, Chu Hao immediately spotted a red off-road vehicle parked by the roadside. Definitely a Jeep Wrangler, priced at about a million. Could this beautiful lady also be one of those rich, fair-skinned beauties?

With a press of the car key, Luo Yan said, ”Get in.”

Chu Hao had ridden in a nice car once before; the Mu Family’s vehicle was much more luxurious than this one. He sighed at how different the wealthy were—the car’s leather was so soft.

Along the way, Chu Hao asked Luo Yan, ”So, what exactly is this Feng Shui issue?”

In fact, when Luo Yan sought out Chu Hao, it was because she had seen many people crowding around him, all eagerly wanting their fortunes told, so she wanted to give it a try.

”We’re a modeling agency, and we’ve moved to a new office, so we wanted someone to check out the Feng Shui,” she said. ”But tell me, little brother, you’re not a scammer, are you?”

When Luo Yan said this, she glanced back with a smile that was both enchanting and alluring.

This wasn’t the first time Chu Hao had heard such a question. ”Do I look like a scam artist to you?” he replied. ”I’ve been in this business for ages; you could call me a veteran.”

Luo Yan laughed. ”A veteran? How old are you?”

”Eighteen,” Chu Hao said seriously.

”TEE HEE! An eighteen-year-old veteran? I’ve certainly never heard of that. Did you start learning this in the womb?”

Oh, boy! Looks like I’ll have to show off my skills before you’ll believe me.

So, Chu Hao began to size up Luo Yan.

Luo Yan, taking advantage of a red light, turned her head and confidently puffed out her chest. Her top was low-cut, revealing a glimpse of smooth, creamy-white skin.

Chu Hao’s eyes unconsciously drifted downward. Seeing that expanse of creamy white flesh, as if he were about to tumble into a ravine, he blushed and said, ”When you were young, did you have a serious injury around your waist? There’s still a scar there now, isn’t there?”

”DING... Host has successfully acted pretentious, gaining 2 Pretentiousness Points.”

Luo Yan was shocked. She did indeed have such an injury, but she had taken good care of it over the years, and it wasn’t usually noticeable.

”How did you know that?” she asked.

”Don’t be scared when I tell you, but a ghost was pestering you back then, and it pushed you.”

Luo Yan shivered as memories resurfaced. Back when she was little, playing by the river, she had dazedly stumbled and fallen in. Just as she fell, she distinctly felt someone push her from behind. As a result, she’d been gashed by rocks in the river.

”BEEP BEEP...”

The red light passed. Luo Yan, jolted from her thoughts, quickly stepped on the accelerator. She said, horrified, ”That really did happen. I told my parents about it at the time, but they said I was just confused and didn’t believe me at all.”

Chu Hao made a quick calculation with his fingers. ”It was a water ghost. Fortunately, the water was shallow where you fell. If it had been deeper, you might not have made it out.”

Luo Yan was now thoroughly convinced. She had told many people about this incident, but no one had ever believed her.

Chu Hao, whom she had just met, had described the event from all those years ago. It was simply miraculous.

”You’re truly amazing! I never expected to meet a master on the bridge,” Luo Yan exclaimed in admiration.

”Just so-so, enough to get by,” he replied modestly.

Luo Yan said, ”TEE HEE... You really don’t look eighteen.”

Finally, they arrived at Luo Yan’s company. Upon entering the modeling agency, Chu Hao’s eyes nearly popped out of his head. fre ewe bnove l.com

So many beautiful women!

There were all kinds of models—petite, mature, flirtatious—it was a dazzling sight that sent his imagination soaring.

In particular, some young models were having a photoshoot. Peeking through the studio setup, he could see them in bikinis, striking various poses for the camera.

Luo Yan explained, ”We’re a female modeling agency. We handle shoots for various magazines and flagship store apparel.”

”Little Master, I think your eyes have fallen into the gutter,” she remarked.

Snapping back to reality, Chu Hao realized he had been staring a little too intently, and his face flushed with embarrassment.

But being able to feast my eyes like this, my heart is pounding—this scene is too thrilling!

”Not at all!” he said. ”It’s a professional habit. As a Taoist Master, I was just checking to see if they have promising futures.”

Luo Yan rolled her eyes. This little fortune-teller sure can spin a yarn.

Luo Yan led Chu Hao to an office and said, ”Manager Yue.”

”Come in.”

The owner of the modeling company was also a woman. She wore a black professional suit and gold-rimmed glasses. She had a very mature air, and her curves were simply indescribable—truly eye-popping.

In addition, there was another person in the office: a tall, handsome man.

”Manager Yue, I’ve found someone. This young master is very capable,” Luo Yan said.

Before Manager Yue could even speak, the handsome man in the white suit beside her frowned and asked, ”He’s so young. Luo Yan, where on earth did you find him?”

Manager Yue was clearly displeased. This was her company, and Lu Shen always behaved this way, putting her in an awkward position. ”Lu Shen,” she said, ”if you’re not busy, could you please leave? I need to work.”

Lu Shen shook his head. ”He’s indeed young. What could he possibly know about Feng Shui? I’ll find a *real* Feng Shui Master for you another day, and I’ll cover the cost.”

Chu Hao felt annoyed—was this guy trying to wreck his livelihood?

So, he asked Luo Yan, ”Is he from your company?”

Luo Yan, embarrassed, replied, ”No, he’s a friend of Manager Yue.”

Chu Hao stepped forward. ”You should leave. With me here, there’s absolutely no need for another Feng Shui Master, and my rates are very reasonable.”

Lu Shen turned, looking at Chu Hao as if he were an idiot. ”Kid, so young and already a con artist. You, a Feng Shui Master? Get lost, or I’m calling the police.”

Luo Yan looked embarrassed. Manager Yue, sitting in her chair, was also angry. She had just moved to a new office, and this Lu Shen must be out of his mind. Calling the police would tarnish the company’s reputation.

”Lu Shen, this is my office,” Manager Yue said, her voice tinged with anger.

However, the idiot still had no clue. ”Shan Shan,” he said, ”there are so many scammers these days. You’ve just moved; it wouldn’t be good to run into one now. I’ll help you get rid of him.”

What a jerk. This guy kept calling him a scammer, left and right, obviously just trying to show off in front of the beautiful women.

Chu Hao stepped forward again. ”Whether I’m a scammer or not, you’ll find out soon enough. Besides, what business is it of yours if I practice Feng Shui? Are you the one paying me? Why don’t you just step aside?”

Lu Shen was furious. Where did this petty young con artist come from, daring to talk back to him so arrogantly?

”Kid, do you even know who I am?” Lu Shen said coldly. ”How dare you speak to me like that?”

That sentence was too jarring, as if his father was the Heavenly King himself.

Chu Hao snorted. ”Do I need to know you? Who do you think you are? Go find a cool corner and stay there.”

The two women nearby couldn’t help but chuckle; this young man was indeed very arrogant.

Lu Shen was furious, pointing at Chu Hao’s nose as he cursed, ”You little bastard! It’s been years since anyone dared to speak to me this way. You’re the first!”

”’A bastard, am I?’ Chu Hao shot back, his anger flaring. ’Who the hell do you think you are, calling me names? You’re messing with my business, and I don’t care if your father is the Heavenly King himself!’”

Lu Shen was so enraged he laughed. ”Good. Very good. Excellent. It seems if I don’t teach you a lesson, you won’t understand the consequences.”

Chu Hao took another step forward and said coldly, ”No need for a lesson. I already know what *your* consequences are.”

As he spoke, he patted Lu Shen’s shoulder, surreptitiously performing bone-reading.

Lu Shen slapped Chu Hao’s hand away. ”What are you doing?”

Chu Hao sneered. ”And here I thought your father really was the Heavenly King. This Taoist Master just did a reading for you. You have no luck with wealth; you’re destined to still be mooching off your parents at forty. Oh, wait! Scratch that. No need to mooch, because your family’s fortune is almost depleted anyway.”

Lu Shen was practically seething. ”I’d like to see what you can actually calculate! If you’re just spouting nonsense, then get out immediately!”

Chu Hao looked utterly disdainful. ”You say I’m talking nonsense? Fine. Today, I’ll give you a proper reading.”
