Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 16: Chapter 16 The Beginning of the Scandal: 16

Luo Yuhu stormed off in a fit of rage, how she would explain this incident to Song Chi, Zhou Yun and her group had no idea, but one could guess that it wouldn’t be anything pleasant. With Luo Yuhu’s demeanor, it would be thankful if she didn’t exaggerate the story.

Zhou Yun had already changed into her dress and finished her styling, just waiting to walk the red carpet.

It was merely a brand store opening ceremony, yet they rolled out a red carpet of about three to four meters, and set up a designated photo area.

In this age of social media, even brick-and-mortar stores meticulously plan promotional elements that are suitable for sharing on social platforms.

Zhou Yun’s gown was borrowed by the company from a major designer, and she didn’t need to worry about jewelry — the brand store that was opening dealt in jewelry, and they provided all the accessories for the attending guests.

Zhou Lan scrutinized Zhou Yun from head to toe, nodded seriously, and said, ”You really suit this rich and glamorous white-gold beauty style.”

Zhou Yun smiled sweetly and said, ”I really like this dress I’m wearing today.”

The dress she was wearing was white with gold leaf-shaped embroidery, and it showcased her fair complexion and beautiful features.

Like a noble bloom amongst mortals.

Zhou Lan nodded and said, ”You truly suit this style. Remember when you’re taking photos later to highlight the bracelet on your wrist — it’s their latest flagship product. Also, don’t forget the earrings and necklace; they’re their classic pieces. Find angles that will accentuate them.”

Zhou Yun nodded in understanding.

A little while later, a staff member from the brand came to invite them out.

Not only was there a media area on the red carpet with video cameras rolling, as soon as they stepped out of the green room, another video camera followed, focusing solely on Zhou Yun.

This was arranged by the brand to gather material to create a Vlog or short video to promote on social media.

It was a fairly standard promotional tactic.

However, it was the first time for Zhou Yun since she’d never been invited to a commercial event of this level before, let alone have a specific camera following her for a Vlog.

Zhou Lan followed Zhou Yun with a beaming smile through the corridor and met Yu Sitian, who was already waiting ahead to make her appearance.

Yu Sitian was also a young rising star. Of course, she was much more famous than Zhou Yun; becoming a leading actress as soon as she debuted, she had filmed several shows and had a large fan base.

The two were of similar ages and both young and beautiful. Standing together, they would usually make a delightful scene.

But Yu Sitian glanced at Zhou Yun and turned away indifferently, as if she hadn’t seen her.

Seeing Yu Sitian’s clear intention of keeping a distance, Zhou Yun didn’t bother to warm up to her chilly demeanor.

She stayed back and didn’t approach.

The staff from the brand had already coordinated with them about the order of appearance and some arrangements for the red carpet.

Zhou Yun was to appear in the middle.

But at this moment, Yu Sitian suddenly asked a staff member beside her, ”Is she going to walk behind me later?”

Yu Sitian didn’t specify anyone, but there were only two artists present, her and Zhou Yun, and it was clear from her words whom she was referring to.

Caught off guard by Yu Sitian’s sudden question, the staff member hesitated, not quite sure how to respond, and stammered, ”It, it should be.”

Yu Sitian frowned and said, ”Change the order, I don’t want to walk in front of her.”
