Chapter 2534: Chapter 2535: The Crown Prince’s Concealment

It’s a pity that Fushan has seen so little of the world, he underestimated the Yin Yang Master.

Or rather, he doesn’t understand the power of astrology, and even more he doesn’t understand that even the followers around an astrologer are not to be trifled with.

So the astrologer didn’t even make a move, and two followers quickly toppled everyone.

Fushan watched in stunned silence as the three astrologers walked towards the backyard, and this time, he didn’t even have the courage to shout at them.

The astrologer used the excuse of meeting the Crown Prince to look for Yan Zhi’s husband at the Fushan Family. He opened the mouth of the Locking Demon Bottle, allowing Yan Zhi to sense for herself and give him a direction.

Unexpectedly, following Yan Zhi’s guidance led him to the Crown Prince.

Yan Zhi also didn’t know the specifics, she only vaguely felt her husband’s presence, which left the astrologer pondering. He had originally thought the monster was in the hands of a Yin Yang Master invited by the Fushan Residence and would inevitably have to use his status and position to request it.

But unexpectedly, Yan Zhi’s husband was in the Crown Prince’s yard; based on his sensation, this yard didn’t have a Yin Yang Master.

”Astrologer pays respects to Your Highness.” The astrologer greeted the Crown Prince, then said, ”Just now, the Patriarch of the Fushan Family didn’t permit me to go to the backyard to look for the imposter pretending to be me, using the Crown Prince as a shield and claiming you were here for a funeral. The astrologer originally thought he was lying but didn’t expect the Crown Prince indeed to be here.”

His tone was neither humble nor overbearing, which befits him as the Patriarch of the prestigious Yin Yang Master Family.

The Crown Prince’s expression changed slightly, and with a stern face, he said, ”That Patriarch Fushan speaks nothing but nonsense. I am here on some errands, and seeing his hearty invitation, I temporarily stayed a few days. He dares to say I came for a funeral. How could the Fushan Family merit such a claim?”

”It seems the Crown Prince has also been deceived, just like that imposter, using my name to commit fraud, which indeed stains our Astrologer Family’s reputation,” the astrologer said.

”What’s going on?” the Crown Prince asked eagerly.

The astrologer briefly explained that he heard someone known as the ”Astrologer Yin Yang Master” was in Gangshan City while catching demons, so he came to see who dared to assume his name, unexpectedly the person was invited by the Fushan Family.

”The Patriarch of the Fushan Family said the imposter has left. I only wanted to look at the place that person stayed before, gather some clues. My Family has a tracking technique which might find his whereabouts, but unexpectedly, the Patriarch Fushan surrounded us with guards, not allowing us into the backyard—the attitude is truly bizarre.” The astrologer explained.

The Crown Prince frowned, ”That Patriarch Fushan has indeed broken the rules. One of my concubines is the daughter of the Fushan Family, let me handle this matter, I will give Master Astrologer an explanation.”

”Then I thank the Crown Prince,” the astrologer bowed his gratitude, and continued, ”Additionally, I caught a female demon on the way who informed me her husband is causing chaos at the Fushan Family and killed someone. This kind of demon that has killed is filled with murderous Qi, and the Astrologer Family must take it to purify it, also it should be searched for in this Residence.”

The Crown Prince’s face remained unchanged, but a dark flash crossed his eyes, ”I also heard of it, the demon killed the old Patriarch, it seems it has already been eradicated by some Yin Yang Master.”

”How could it be? I already sensed his presence here in this yard. I genuinely worry that the demon intends to harm Your Highness, it might be best if you leave the Fushan Family.” The astrologer felt even more uneasy inside, the Crown Prince definitely knew something, yet claimed the demon was eradicated, could it be that the monster is under his control, not willing to expose it?

If he means well, wanting to clear the demon of crimes and thus hides it from the astrologer, that’s fine, but what if he has other intentions?

At this moment, Yan Zhi in the Locking Demon Bottle secretly communicated to the Crown Prince, saying, ”Master, I sensed him, right here in this room, he is in great pain.”

The astrologer frowned slightly, making an effort to sense the surrounding demon Qi, yet found nothing.

Surely something is hiding the demon, thus he couldn’t feel it, but Yan Zhi and her husband, having lived together for years, have many connections, allowing them to sense it.

”Your Highness, I guarantee on the honor of the Astrologer Family, that the demon is still alive. For Your Highness’s safety, please allow me to investigate.” The astrologer paid his respects, a righteous air upon his face.

He holds a position on the Emperor’s side, thus he must address the Crown Prince as a subject.

The Crown Prince said nothing, his eyes scanning over the astrologer, his gaze cold and somewhat harsh, though that harshness flickered by, he suddenly smiled, gentle and warm, it seemed like the previous moment was just a figment of the astrologer’s imagination.

”Thank you, Master Astrologer, for considering my safety, then I’ll leave it to you.” The Crown Prince said.

The astrologer bowed, directing his followers to search outside the room, he too began searching inside.

Yet after searching for half a day, he found nothing, even though Yan Zhi clearly felt it, he simply didn’t know where Gong Feng was hidden.

Surely there is some special treasure concealing the demon Qi, which very likely is on the Crown Prince himself!

Even though the astrologer is the Patriarch of Fusang’s top Yin Yang Master Family, he cannot forcibly search the Crown Prince, he had to grit his teeth and apologize, saying perhaps he overthought.

”The Master is also worried about my safety, I hereby thank the Master,” the Crown Prince still graciously smiled and patted the astrologer’s shoulder.

The astrologer forcefully stifled his inner rage, squeezing out a smile, ”Sorry for disturbing Your Highness’s rest, I shall take my leave now, still need to find that imposter pretending to be me.”

”Alright, Master Astrologer, go ahead, if you need anything, feel free to speak to me.” The Crown Prince, in high spirits, saw the astrologer off to the door.

The astrologer, with a gloomy face, went as if checking the impostor’s previous dwelling, took an item and left.

Back at the Inn, the astrologer explained the situation, his expression somber, evidently the matter left him particularly vexed.

”If Yan Zhi’s husband was caught and still suffering, while the Crown Prince hides without surrendering him, then he either sadistically enjoys watching the demon suffer or uses some evil method to refine the demon so the demon can be utilized by him,” Bai Ruozhu suddenly said, recalling she had read a piece in the Astrology Tower mentioning some Forbidden Techniques, though without specific instructions, merely saying those methods are incredibly evil, thus banned.

Among them includes Yin Yang Masters refining demons.

It equates to the Evil Technique or martial artists using blood or absorbing others’ skills to practice corrupt功.

The astrologer clenched his brows, ”What you said is very possible, perhaps someone gave him some treasure, and he secretly refines the demon, just uncertain what he intends to use it for afterward.”

Fo Lanying listened with gritted teeth, ”If it’s inconvenient to act openly, let’s stealthily snatch it, if he indeed refined the demon, who knows how much more evil he’ll commit.”

The astrologer naturally didn’t object, thus everyone discussed briefly and finalized their strategy.

The next day, the astrologer had the imposter arrested and taken to the Government Office, accusing him of impersonating the astrologer for fraud, even revealing his plot against Fushan’s old Patriarch, when the current Patriarch was apprehended by the Government Office, only then did he realize he had crossed an untouchable figure.
