Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

She was a brave girl who he remembered in his heart.

A smile flashed past his dark eyes. He said to the man, ”Thank you for your concern for me. Later, when you get in the car…” He paused for a moment and looked at the target car that was getting closer and closer. Xia Jinyuan asked him, ”Do you know how to drive?”

The young man, who wanted to do his best to save his friends, nodded vigorously. ”Yes, yes, yes. I can drive. I’m a better driver than Wang Qian!”

Xia Jinyuan smiled. Fortunately, Wang Qian was the one driving the car in front now. If this young man were the one driving, the speed of the target car would probably increase. Then, Xia Jinyuan wouldn’t have been able to catch up so quickly.

There was one good thing about the pursuit on the desert national highway. There was only one road the entire time. There was not even a path that one could turn into. Even if the fugitive, Gongga Ningbu, hijacked a car, he could only drive forward.

After laughing lightly, Xia Jinyuan said, ”After saving your three friends, you’ll drive them away. Your three friends should be fine. He won’t dare to do anything to the girl in the back seat. He needs Wang Qian to drive. If he kills the girl in the back seat, Wang Qian won’t be able to drive properly.

”There’s no need to worry about the girl in the front passenger seat. The last thing that Gongga Ningbu will do is put her in danger, so don’t be so anxious to cry. Sit properly and don’t cause trouble for me.”

Xia Jinyuan felt that young people, especially guys, needed to have some courage. The young man’s reaction was very similar to Xia Jinyuan’s temper. Even though he knew that they were chasing a criminal who had killed four people, he didn’t think of getting out of the car to protect himself. He even wanted to get out of the car to help later.

This was worthy of praise.

Since he caused this trouble, he wouldn’t cower away and only think about protecting himself and not care about anything else. If he did that, his friends might lose their lives. Such people… deserved to be looked down on.

When the young man heard that, he immediately patted his chest and promised, ”Okay. Leave it to me. I’ll definitely bring them away.” After he finished speaking, he leaned over and asked uneasily, ”What about you? If we leave, what will you do? Won’t you leave with us?”

Xia Jinyuan shook his head. ”My mission now is to catch the criminal who’s at large. Take good care of yourselves later.”

The target vehicle in front was getting closer and closer. It was so close that he could clearly see the tail lights of the vehicle. The people in the car should be able to see him too.

”Sit tight!” After saying that, Xia Jinyuan increased his speed by 20 miles, from 240 to 260 miles per hour.

The performance of a military unit’s military vehicle was far from what an ordinary Jeep could compare to. In addition, Xia Jinyuan was from the special forces and had top-notch driving skills. He could completely control the speed.

The hostage, Wang Qian, was sweating profusely as he drove the car. His driving skills were not good. He had only been driving for a year, and his skills had yet to mature. Driving the car at 180 was his limit.

At first, Gongga Ningbu even threatened Wang Qian to drive at the highest speed. Wang Qian, who was trembling in fear, stepped on the accelerator, and the vehicle instantly lost control, swerving out of the road. When Gongga Ningbu saw this, he roared at Wang Qian to drive properly. In response, Wang Qian cried and said that he couldn’t drive fast.

Hence, it was fortunate that Wang Qian was the one driving. If it were a young lad who knew how to drive, it wouldn’t have been a problem for him to go up to 200. Xia Jinyuan would then have had to spend some time chasing after him.

When the target vehicle was discovered, Xia Jinyuan informed the Vanguard Battalion. When the Vanguard Battalion received the news from the front, they immediately maintained communication with the municipal police station.
