Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Ye Jian chuckled. ”There must be people in the car. If they really wanted to steal something, they wouldn’t have shaken the entire car. They would’ve just stolen the things and quickly escaped.”

The car windows were not broken, and no whistles sounded. Xia Jinyuan felt that he was too vigilant, so he only paused for a second.

The two of them took a few more steps forward. The sound of a door being pulled closed could be heard from the car behind them. It was as if the people in the car had sensed danger and wanted to escape in a hurry.

Something was wrong!

The two of them, who were talking and laughing, turned around at the same time and ran. A gray figure flashed past their eyes and ran toward the road.

Ye Jian’s pupils constricted when she saw the gray figure running. ”It’s a prisoner’s uniform!” she shouted in a low voice.

”I’ll chase after him. Go and take a look inside the car!” Xia Jinyuan also saw that the gray figure was wearing a prisoner’s uniform. The word ’prisoner’ on his back was eye-catching!

He sped up and chased after him. Ye Jian turned a corner and found the car from where she heard the door being pulled closed.

It was a crime escort vehicle, and the windows couldn’t be looked into from the outside. All the windows were covered with reflective brown film. From the outside, one couldn’t see what was inside.

Ye Jian quickly jumped into the car. The scene in front of her made her expression change drastically!

She quickly opened the first aid kit that she brought along every time she went out. She took out the gauze and covered the throat of the policeman whose throat was slit. Blood gushed out of the policeman’s neck. He saw the person who saved him clearly. When he saw the army desert camouflage uniform, his eyes lit up. He covered his neck and raised his hand to point outside. ”Crime… Chase… serious… offender.”

”My comrade is chasing after him. Don’t talk!” Ye Jian covered the policeman’s neck that was bleeding continuously. Her mouth was pursed into a straight line. The aorta was cut… She couldn’t stop the bleeding!

As she looked back, a vicious look flashed past Ye Jian’s eyes. At the back… there was another policeman whose throat was slit too!

There was no way she could save them!

She covered the policeman’s bleeding neck with one hand and took off her jacket with the other. She took out the dagger beside her thigh. After two swishes, two strips of cloth were cut out of the camouflage uniform. She used the cloth to wrap the neck of the policeman who was at the critical moment of life and death yet still asked her to chase after the offender. ”Do you still have the strength? Can you press it on yourself? Please press it! You must press it!”

Ye Jian raised the policeman’s right hand and placed it on his neck. ”Press it! You must press it!”

After she finished speaking, she crawled to the back and prepared to use the same method to save the other officer. Just as she reached out her hand, her fingers suddenly contracted as if she was holding something heavy.

The police officer in his early 40s had already… left.

His eyes were wide open. Although his eyes were still open, he was no longer breathing.

Ye Jian felt a stab in her heart. She didn’t have the time to be sad. Footsteps came from outside. Ye Jian restrained the anger in her eyes and retreated. She reached out her hand again to cover the neck of the policeman whose aorta had been cut. The footsteps approached. Ye Jian looked up…

Two policemen walked over with another prisoner. They looked at each other, then one of the policemen shouted.

They saw what was happening in front of them. They saw their comrades lying in a pool of blood. Blood kept flowing out of their comrades’ necks.

When the prisoner saw this, a crazy glint flashed past his eyes. When one of the police officers jumped into the car, he suddenly bumped into the police officer who was holding him.

Ye Jian took out her dagger and threw it at the prisoner who wanted to escape.
