Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

It was his fault.

”Alright, alright. It’s all my fault. Now that you’re done crying, are you feeling better?” As an ordinary man, he coaxed his girlfriend gently. He hugged Ye Jian like a towering tree, sheltering Ye Jian from the wind and rain.

He would always hold Ye Jian in his arms.

She had cried in front of her boyfriend more than once or twice. In the past, Ye Jian felt a little embarrassed. Now… she was still a little embarrassed. However, she could still talk normally.

”On the day we leave, let’s leave secretly in the middle of the night. Let’s not let them know,” Ye Jian suggested. She didn’t want to face separation. If she left quietly, she could still control her emotions and not see the sorrow of the female soldiers.

Xia Jinyuan smiled. ”Okay, as you wish.”

At first, he was thinking of leaving in the middle of the night as well and wanted to ask for her advice. Since she had mentioned it herself, he decided to leave in the middle of the night.

The female soldiers were reluctant to part, and the male soldiers were the same.

The male soldiers had already voiced out half a month ago. At that time, the corners of the seven-foot-tall men’s eyes were red. It was only because Xia Jinyuan had a premonition and quickly ordered them to run 3,000 meters that they didn’t cry.

The tears of rough men weren’t like the female soldiers. The female soldiers could cry at the top of their lungs, but the rough men wouldn’t let themselves cry out loud. They would only smile until their faces were unrecognizable. Even if their faces were covered in tears, they wouldn’t let themselves cry out.

On the 20th, two military trucks left the Vanguard Battalion and headed to the depths of the desert. It was also a depopulated zone. It was so desolate that even during the day, you would feel as if you were the only one in the world.

”During these three days, you must protect your water source. The male soldiers of the Blood Wolf Special Forces are good at desert combat and know the importance of water sources. Once you fight them head-on, your water source will be their first target of destruction.”

They set off at six in the morning and arrived at the gathering point at nine in the evening. They sat in the tent that had been set up. As the instructor, Ye Jian provided her combat experience to the female soldiers for the last time.

Ye Jian wasn’t unfamiliar with the desert. The combat experience she provided was all her actual combat experience. It was very useful to female soldiers.

The female soldiers listened attentively and memorized every word Ye Jian said.

”You must choose a good place to rest at night. Choosing a topography where you can attack and defend is the first priority. Go for a crescent moon topography, a high-up and low-down terrain, or a terrain with cover at the back. Arrange for three people to stand guard. It can be divided into three shifts, with a total of nine people—two open sentries, and one hidden sentry. When resting, you also need to arrange open sentries and hidden sentries. When fighting, you must also divide the combat forces into two waves. The desert has complex terrain and diverse combat methods. The hidden sentries will always be your reserve force and backup. Do you understand?”

”We understand!”

”We understand!”

”We understand!”

”Now, let’s talk about your division of labor. Gao Xiao, Qiu Tong, Fu Linghua, Wang Yue’er, the four of you will be the main attacking force…”

It was late at night. Ye Jian, who was about to leave, was still making serious arrangements. She knew how much effort the female soldiers in front of her had put in to become special forces soldiers and to establish the first female special forces unit in the country. Hence, she had to use her own ability to push them forward so that they could realize their dreams.

Now, their dream was right in front of them. Their goal was right in front of them. She was just waiting for them to achieve it!
