Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

His comrade had died, but the prisoner was still laughing. Duo Ji’s heart was filled with viciousness as he kicked the prisoner who was still screaming. ”Zha Cuomu, you’re courting death!!”

He kicked the injured leg of the felon until he fell. As he was handcuffed, he couldn’t land on the ground. He was suspended by his hands.

This was a serious felon. Even though he was screaming in pain, it couldn’t hide the cruelty and viciousness in his eyes.

He saw the policeman lying in a pool of blood in front of him. He suddenly grinned cruelly. ”He’s dead? He’s really dead? Good! That’s good! He wanted to catch us… Hahaha, luck’s not on his side…”

The police officer looked ruthless. His eyes were red as he raised his leg again and kicked the chest of the prisoner. ”Shut up!”

The prisoner coughed violently and laughed crazily. ”Hahaha, he’s unlucky! He’s unlucky!”

In exchange, he was beaten up until he vomited a mouthful of blood. He only stopped after he fainted from the pain.

After the felon fainted, Duo Ji rushed to the front seat and took off the camouflage jacket covering the face of his colleague, Dayang Ciwang.

Ye Jian had helped Dayang Ciwang to sit up and fastened him with a seat belt to prevent him from falling again as he was already dead. She also covered Dayang Ciwang’s face with her sleeveless camouflage uniform to show respect for the deceased.

The camouflage uniform was taken away. Duo Ji saw that Dayang Ciwang was pressing his chest with his right hand. His facial expression showed a little pain, and his eyes were wide open. They were filled with blood. His lips were abnormally bruised. His body wasn’t stiff yet, so his lips hadn’t turned pale. However, his face was ashen.

Ye Jian’s hands were stained with blood. After taking a look, she retracted her gaze. The policeman who had died should have… died suddenly. To be precise, he probably died from exhaustion.

The car had already started moving. The policeman driving the car raised the siren and got the cars in front to give way. He headed to the nearest hospital at the fastest speed.

Ye Jian’s hands were stained with blood. She kept pressing on the neck of the policeman, Ah Da, who kept losing blood. His lips were turning paler. ”Hold on. We’re driving to the hospital now. Hold on.”

Policeman Ah Da should know that he didn’t have much time left. He pursed his lips with difficulty. He wanted to smile at Ye Jian and express his gratitude.

”You’re welcome. It’s what I should do.” Ye Jian understood what he was trying to say. Right on the heels of that, she curved her lips and revealed a reassuring smile. ”Nothing will happen. Nothing will happen.”

The policeman, Duo Ji, suppressed his sorrow and covered his colleague’s face with the camouflage jacket again. He wanted to take off his police jacket, but he was afraid that his colleague, Ah Da, would find out that Dayang Ciwang had left. If he got agitated, something unexpected might happen, so he used Ye Jian’s jacket again.

The heavy prisoner, Zha Cuomu, had fainted. Duo Ji suppressed his sorrow and crawled to his colleague, Ah Da. This was a seven-seater MPV that wasn’t used to escort criminals. They borrowed it at the last minute. The police and the prisoners were in the same space, so the escaped prisoner had a chance to attack.

Duo Ji, who had crawled over, grabbed Ah Da’s cold fingers. ”Ah Da, Ah Da, hold on. You’ll be fine. You’ll be fine.”

He wasn’t speaking Mandarin. He was speaking in Tibetan.

The policeman, Ah Da, smiled. He couldn’t hold on anymore. Although he was reluctant and wanted to live well, he knew that he wouldn’t be able to do it.

He knew that he didn’t even have the strength to hold Duo Ji’s hand. He knew that he was about to die.
