Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Ye Jian used her hand to wipe the sweat off his forehead. She was so angry that she wanted to laugh. ”It looks like you’re not sweating because of me. It’s because you ran all the way here.”

”The temperature is -9 degrees Celsius. How can I sweat?”

”Of course, you can! I’ve tried it before.”

Although she refused, her hands were very honest. She took a towel and wiped the sweat on his back.

As she wiped his sweat, she said, ”Battalion Commander Tian doesn’t want us to perform any live shooting. He’s afraid that something will happen. Why don’t you change the program? As long as it’s not singing or dancing, I’ll cooperate.”

Xia Jinyuan, who revealed half of his strong waist, thought for a moment and shook his head. ”Let’s shoot. Before we leave, let’s leave some good memories for them so that they can use this as their goal. Even if we leave the Vanguard Battalion, they can’t relax.

”They are a group of soldiers who want to go further. Let them know that there are stronger people among the strong. Moreover, they’ve appeared beside them before. It’ll be stimulating for them.”

Ye Jian would definitely not agree to show off.

In that case, he could only sublimate her thoughts!

When Ye Jian heard that he had such an arrangement, she didn’t insist. ”You still have to practice. Also, do you want me to be the live target or will you be the target?”

”Is there a need to discuss? Of course, it’s me!” Xia Jinyuan placed himself in danger without any hesitation.

He didn’t think that he was in danger either. He believed in Ye Jian’s shooting skills and believed that she wouldn’t put him in danger.

After wiping his sweat, Ye Jian’s hand stopped on his back. There was a glint in her eyes. ”Okay, let’s do it!”

He trusted her so much. How could she disappoint him?

Soon, their program was reported to the officer. The officer didn’t understand what live shooting was, so he asked more questions. After Xia Jinyuan finished explaining, the officer’s hand that was holding the pen trembled.

Instructor Xia, who came from the special forces, was so different even from the company’s soldiers.

It was such a dangerous program that the officer couldn’t make the decision alone. He reported it to Commissar Tang that day. Commissar Tang, who had already learned about it from Battalion Commander Tian, smiled and said, ”Just make the arrangements. The two of them can handle the danger.”

With that, it was decided that the two of them would perform on stage.

To ensure that nothing would happen, Ye Jian hid and practiced secretly after she finished her training at night. She formed a snowball smaller than an apple and placed it on a lump of soil. When she was ten meters away, she used her pistol to shoot.

There was no problem with shooting at a distance of ten meters. Ye Jian didn’t continue training secretly after hitting ten times.

On New Year’s Eve, there were no lanterns hanging outside the military unit. Only the calligraphy written by Commissar Tang was pasted at the entrance of the camp.

From the outside of the camp, it didn’t look like it was New Year’s. However, the interior of the cafeteria had changed drastically. They pulled out the colorful lights and banners that had been kept properly for many years. The ten soldiers used the competition method to blow balloons until their cheeks hurt. They tied up the 200 colorful balloons that they finally blew out and placed them all over the cafeteria. Then, they pasted a few couplets written by Commissioner Tang. The countdown to the happy gala began.

At this moment, the male and female soldiers didn’t know that their instructors, Xia Jinyuan and Ye Jian, would be performing tonight. There were a total of 16 programs, and they used the time before the gala started to complete the last rehearsal. It was also… their only rehearsal.

Many of them had to leave the camp to patrol after the gala ended. Their backpacks were already packed, just waiting for them to set off.

Xia Jinyuan was also tidying up his backpack. He had prepared a lot of things for the ten-day patrol.
