Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The two of them didn’t talk much about the topic of recruiting female soldiers anymore. They didn’t mention it again.

If they could think of this, the higher-ups could too. Hence, the most important thing now was to get down to business.

The helicopter was on standby. Captain Lei brought Ye Jian to the equipment room to get a small-sized set of equipment. ”It’s a small-sized piece of equipment. It’s suitable for you to wear. The gun is on the plane. You can check it when you get on the plane.”

Ye Jian’s eyes flickered as she took the ventilation suit. It was in a size small. Even the equipment she was wearing… had been prepared in advance?

They predicted that the sharpshooter in the team would have something on at the last minute, so they made preparations in advance?

Ye Jian’s eyes flickered slightly. She smiled slightly. The sharpshooter had something on at the last minute and the higher-ups added a mile at the last minute. Ha… It was fake.

When Captain Lei saw that she had the intention to retreat, he immediately threw out the bait and said that he could teach her some airborne skills. He had clearly been waiting for her!

Captain Lei didn’t notice the smile on Ye Jian’s face. He passed the helmet to Ye Jian and asked jokingly, ”Do you know how to wear it? Do you need a demonstration?”

Ye Jian was already familiar with the flying equipment set when she was in the Storm Commando Brigade. Naturally, she didn’t need a demonstration. Moreover, the set in her hand wasn’t the set worn by a pilot, so there was no need for a demonstration.

However…

She weighed the small-sized ventilation suit in her hand and raised it slightly. ”Captain Lei, you’re so smart. You predicted that the sharpshooter in your crew would have something on, so you even prepared equipment in my size in advance. You could be a fortune teller.”

She knew it. Why would they invite her, an instructor who came to train female soldiers, at the last minute to help ensure safety of the experimental test? Why would she suddenly be transferred to the experimental center to take over an important position?

She had always felt that there was a problem with it, but she couldn’t figure out what it was. Now, she finally understood.

It was true that the area needed to be completely cleared to ensure the completion of the experiment, but it was false that she, an instructor, was asked to take over because of a shortage of manpower.

The reason why they asked her to come over was because of the aerial shooting mission.

Captain Lei was lying when he said that the sharpshooter had something on and couldn’t come. It was true that they were on a mission, and she was included in the mission. It was also a mission they needed to complete.

Why did it have to be her?

Why didn’t he tell her directly? Why did he have to let her guess?

What other arrangements did the military have for her?

Ye Jian was deep in thought. Even her eyes turned dark. The coldness in the depths of her eyes fluctuated. Her expression was so serious that Captain Lei smiled awkwardly.

”No, no. We’re all used to being prepared and making preparations in advance to prevent any emergencies.” The female special forces soldier chosen by the army was really not easy to fool!

He hadn’t seen how capable she was, but he could already feel the sweat on his back. He hadn’t said anything, not even a word of nonsense, but she actually saw through everything!

Ye Jian took the helmet and smiled. The look in her eyes was so sharp that Captain Lei felt a headache coming on. He wanted to tell her directly that he didn’t know anything.

Just like her, he didn’t know why they insisted on letting her come over and even arranged for night shooting.

Night shooting was a run of the mill for their team. There was nothing special about par for the course. However, if he brought a soldier from the army and let her see their training… He wasn’t her captain. Why did he have to let her see it?

The female soldier in front of him didn’t understand the situation, and as the captain who received the mission at the last minute, he didn’t understand either.
