Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Ye Jian was leaning toward the third possibility. Captain Lei was afraid that she would know too much, so he purposely said such words.

She silently praised Xia Jinyuan in her heart. The special forces of the Xueyu unit were comprehensive. They were proficient in everything. An assaulter could sometimes be a sniper. A sniper could be an assaulter. Z7’s position could be temporarily replaced by T6 and V8. Even if there was a heavy responsibility at the last minute, arrangements could be made. Each person could play several roles.

”Captain Lei, the position you arranged is too important. I’m afraid I’m not qualified.” Ye Jian didn’t dare to nod immediately. She had trained on the helicopter to shoot accurately on the sea. However, after that training, she hadn’t undergone such training again. She had some scruples.

Captain Lei smiled. ”That’s why we invited you over in advance. We want you to prepare for tomorrow’s mission.”

Prepare in advance?

How should she prepare?

Ye Jian saw Captain Lei picking up the wireless intercom on his waist. He adjusted the channel and placed it at the corner of his mouth. ”01 to 00. Please answer if you hear me. Please answer if you hear me.”

”00, received. 00, received. We’re ready to take off at any time.”

The calm voice of the soldier came from the intercom. Ye Jian’s eyes widened. She looked at Captain Lei in surprise. ”Are you planning to take off tonight and let me have a go?

”Captain Lei, it’s true that I have helicopter training, but I have to tell you that I have never had night helicopter training, let alone night shooting.”

She was very cautious and didn’t care about letting him know her shortcomings. Captain Lei just smiled, becoming even more interested. ”It’s fine that you’ve never trained for it. Isn’t tonight a good opportunity for you?”

Captain Lei was a little worried that Ye Jian would insist on rejecting him because she wasn’t qualified. He threw out a very tempting bait. ”When the time comes, I’ll let you see us complete an airborne mission. If you want to learn a little more about airborne missions, we can teach you.”

”How about it? Do you agree? Do you want to try?”

The bait was too tempting. It was so tempting that Ye Jian couldn’t bring herself to reject it.

Of course, she wanted to! She just didn’t think she was qualified!

Ye Jian nodded honestly. ”I really want to, but I’m more worried that I won’t be able to do it.” She sighed again. ”Captain Lei, what you’re doing is against the rules. You know what I want to know the most, but you still threw out the bait to lure me in.

”I knew that it was bait, but I still bit it.”

”Hahaha, it’s not bait. It’s an opportunity. You’re just seizing this opportunity. Let’s go and change our equipment!”

Captain Lei, who was walking, laughed and raised his hand. His hand was in the air when he suddenly retracted it. Right on the heels of that, he slapped his forehead awkwardly. ”I’m sorry. It’s a habit. A habit.”

He habitually wanted to put his arm around his comrade’s shoulders. When his hand reached into the air, he suddenly remembered that the soldier in front of him was a female. As a male soldier, if he rashly put his arm around a female soldier’s shoulder… Cough… Cough… It wouldn’t be good.

He would be beaten up by the female soldier for being a hooligan.

With the strength of a special forces soldier, even if she was a female soldier, oh no… The reason why a female soldier could become a special forces soldier was because she was stronger than a male soldier!

It probably would not be an ordinary beating.

Ye Jian didn’t feel awkward. When she was in the Xueyu unit, her comrades often hugged her shoulders like brothers. She didn’t feel awkward. It was a normal interaction.
