Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The pilot’s nervousness made Ye Jian smile. Sighing, she replied, ”It’s because I’m angry that you discriminate against female soldiers. Did you look down on me because I’m a female soldier?”

The direct questioning made the pilot want to find a hole to hide in. His face turned red and hot. It was awkward. ”Yes… There was a little bit of that.”

He was so nervous that it felt like a cat had got his tongue. He couldn’t say a word.

The pilot’s honesty made Ye Jian smile until her eyes curved like crescent moons. ”There are many female soldiers who are quite powerful. It’s just that you haven’t met them. At that time, I was angry because you discriminated against female soldiers. I wanted to retaliate.”

The pilot, whose forehead was covered in sweat, swallowed his saliva. ”You got back at us. You got back at us when you fired the first shot.

”We didn’t expect you to shoot suddenly. You even fired before we reached the mentioned descent. It was fast and accurate. We didn’t know when you fired.

”I’m not the only one who didn’t know when you fired your gun. Captain Lei and my comrades were all dumbfounded as well. Ye Jian, are you the best sniper in your team?”

This concerned the reputation of the Xueyu unit. Even if the other party didn’t know about the existence of the Xueyu unit, Ye Jian had to nod and say yes. She continued, ”My comrades are not bad. Everyone has their own specialties. We cooperate well with each other and complete every mission outstandingly.”

All of them were as powerful as the female soldier in front of him? The pilot’s eyes were filled with yearning. ”You’re so amazing. I wonder if I’ll have the chance to see you in action?”

”I think so. In the past, I looked forward to meeting you airborne soldiers. I always wanted to see how powerful you are. Now, the opportunity has come. I wasn’t even given time to prepare.

”If you had been given time to prepare, the few of us would’ve been even more embarrassed. I’m really sorry about tonight. Please don’t take it to heart. We won’t make similar mistakes in the future.”

”Your brilliant performance has already extinguished the anger in my heart. It’s over now. I think that when you see female soldiers in the future, you won’t look down on them anymore.”

The pilot’s face was so red that it was hot. He waved his hand repeatedly. ”I’m sorry, I’m sorry. With this lesson, we won’t dare to look down on female soldiers next time.”

What really angered Ye Jian was the fact that they were discriminating against her. However, she had already used her strongest ability to retaliate. There was no need to say anything else. She believed that the male soldiers who discriminated against her weren’t feeling good at this moment. When they saw her later, they would probably be so awkward that they wouldn’t even be able to look at her.

On the other hand, Captain Lei said to his comrades, especially Small Head, in a cold voice, ”When you see Ye Jian later, be polite to her. She’s also following orders!”

”I didn’t criticize you in front of Ye Jian just now because I didn’t want to make things difficult for you in front of someone from the army. Don’t bully her. Do you really think she’s easy to bully? Did you see her sniping skills? Do you think Big Head is as good as her? If not, shut up and stop targeting her! Do you understand?”

In order to prevent Small Head from targeting Ye Jian for the next day, Captain Lei took this opportunity to warn Small Head to prevent him from talking nonsense again.

The other two soldiers were the same. They were all warned by Captain Lei.

Captain Lei also reflected on himself. If he had straightened his attitude first, the soldiers below him wouldn’t have acted the way they did. He had to reflect on and criticize himself first.
