Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The only thing he knew was that the higher-ups had informed the team at the last minute that there would be a special forces female soldier from the army who he needed to observe for two days. It would be best if he could arrange a position for her during their mission.

They also told him that the female special forces soldier was a sniper and had undergone maritime and air sniping training. They asked him to arrange her position based on this. The most important thing was not to tell her directly that this was an arrangement from above, as it was a temporary arrangement.

The person who sent the message was none other than the division commander. Captain Lei received such a strange order and even discussed it with his deputy captains, Liu Peng and Ren Zeyu, for a long time. In the end, he arranged for the comrade at the main shooting position to be in another position. Then, he arranged for the female soldier to be at the main shooting position.

Faced with Ye Jian’s doubts, Captain Lei, who was having a headache, chose to evade her questions temporarily. ”If there’s anything you don’t understand, we’ll talk about it after we finish our business. Hurry up and change your equipment. The helicopter is on standby. It’s just waiting for you.”

Ye Jian, who had already obtained the equipment, didn’t have the chance to refuse. She could only nod and change her equipment.

She was changing her equipment in the tent. Captain Lei, who had gone out, said to his comrades through the public channel that had not been turned off, ”The female soldier from the army is sharp. As a captain, my back is sweating because of her questions. Don’t say too much when you meet her, lest she guesses more.”

A voice quickly came from the public channel. ”What did she guess?”

”She guessed that we weren’t on a temporary mission at all. She guessed that she wasn’t on a temporary loan, that she was part of the mission.” Captain Lei sighed. ”I didn’t say anything. I just gave her a small-sized ventilation suit.”

”Captain, you mean that the reason why we were exposed was because of a small-sized ventilation suit?” another person asked.

”Yes, the equipment exposed us.” If he had a cigarette, Captain Lei, who had a gloomy expression, wanted to light one for himself and take a few puffs. ”It was obviously prepared for her. She guessed it at a glance.”

”So be it. She won’t think that we’re scheming, right? Captain, why don’t you just tell her that we were forced into a corner? We’re only cooperating like this because we think that she might be capable. Why else would she be left to guess?”

This soldier spoke a little rashly. It couldn’t be helped. All of them were being asked to cooperate with a special forces soldier from the army. So what if she was a female soldier? Could a female soldier waste resources?

She even ruined their previous plan. The position that belonged to their comrade was taken by her. Ha, she even suspected that they had ulterior motives? Well, they suspected that she didn’t have the ability to shoot in the air!

Although Captain Lei was unhappy about Ye Jian’s arrival and even intentionally ignored her for a while, the resentment in his heart faded after seeing the female soldier’s indifference.

Seeing that his comrades still had some objections, Captain Lei said in a low voice, ”We’re just taking care of her for two days. It’s not like we’ll be taking care of her for a long time. If you have any objections, suppress them in your hearts. Don’t say it in front of the female soldier. She doesn’t know anything either. We can’t vent our anger on her because of this, let alone make things difficult for her. Do you hear me?!”

”I won’t make things difficult for her. It’s just that this experiment is a rare opportunity for us. We’re a little unhappy that she’s taking the lead.”

When Captain Lei heard footsteps coming out of the tent, he quickly turned his back and stared at the tent door. He lowered his voice and continued, ”Alright, we’ll obey the arrangements of the higher-ups. You have to collect her data carefully later. The higher-ups are still waiting for us to hand over her data.”
