Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

It was a normal interaction… Who knew that the team members who treated Ye Jian as their brother were given extra training by the narrow-minded Lieutenant Colonel Xia?

Walking out of the tent, Captain Lei raised his hand and made a grabbing gesture. ”Not bad. Although the temperature is a little low and there’s no wind, it’s suitable for night flight.”

It was already dangerous to parachute in during the day, let alone at night.

There was no way to see the topography and ground targets clearly immediately. In order to ensure the safety of the airborne soldiers, there would be weather protection before they landed. They would seek advantages and avoid harm. They would prevent and reduce the danger of dangerous weather to the airborne soldiers.

For instance, when Captain Lei asked Ye Jian to watch them complete the airborne mission, Ye Jian was very worried that the weather would bring them danger.

Hence, after Captain Lei finished speaking, she said, ”It’s very dangerous to parachute in at night. The wind speed doesn’t seem strong now, but to complete the parachute, you need to have a forecast of the wind, clouds, visibility, air pressure, temperature, and so on. Just now, you asked me to watch you parachute in, but forget it. I’m already very satisfied to be able to come into close contact with the elites of the airborne soldiers.”

”No, no. I mean what I say. Since I’ve already said it, how can I go back on my word? Especially since you’re so interested in our airborne military unit. Comrade Ye Jian, since you’re so interested, I suspect that you have the intention of changing units.

”Do you? If you do, you can consider it. I’ve seen your training results. You’re quite outstanding. Once you enter the military unit, I think you’ll definitely be able to become an outstanding airborne soldier within a year.”

It was true that Ye Jian was outstanding, but his suggestion to her about changing military units was not a real offer. It was just something to help relax Ye Jian.

Ye Jian, who had always had a good mentality, smiled. ”The army is good too. Captain Lei, you can consider it too. If you change your military unit, you’ll definitely become a soldier king!”

She was very calm. She even teased him back.

The smile on Captain Lei’s face got deeper. He looked at the female soldier who was walking with him and started chatting casually, ”Are there many female soldiers in your team? Female special forces soldiers are very rare in our military unit. I’ve been a soldier for seven years, but this is the first time I’ve met a female special forces soldier.”

There were indeed very few female special forces soldiers in the military. However, there were female special forces soldiers in every major military region. It was just that there were not many female special forces soldiers like Ye Jian.

Ye Jian didn’t dare to say too much. The more that she said, the more he would know. She was worried too.

After all, the Xueyu unit was a military unit that didn’t even exist in the company system.

”Yes, there are many female soldiers in the team. Your requirements are high, so there won’t be many female special forces soldiers in your team. You probably won’t consider recruiting female soldiers, right?”

”I didn’t think about it a few years ago. However, as times are changing, there are some missions that female soldiers are more suitable to complete than male soldiers. In the past two years, we’ve also considered recruiting female soldiers and are implementing them.

”However, as you said, the requirements are high. We can’t recruit a lot of female soldiers because it’s too difficult.” When they talked about the recruitment of female soldiers, Captain Lei’s expression turned a little serious.

This wasn’t just a problem that Captain Lei was facing. The entire military was facing a similar problem. As more and more female soldiers took over important positions, the scarcity of regular female soldiers became a problem. He believed that in the near future, the military would relax the quota of female soldiers. It wouldn’t be like now where there were only one or two slots in every place.

This was an inevitable development.
