Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Ye Jian turned around and looked at her old friend. He smiled and waved at her. Ye Jian raised her hand and waved at him gently. ’See you when you return to the country, Yang Heng.’

She said softly in her heart.

Xia Jinyuan brought the soldiers to the coast.

The squadron leader of the Chinese peacekeeping camp in Yeni didn’t see the soldiers off. He was so busy that he wished that he could split into three people. He needed to settle the matters in the camp, clean up after the battle, and handle some matters in the mine deep in the tropical rainforest more than 100 kilometers away from the camp.

After Li Jinnian and the rest left, the frowning squadron leader was talking to the person-in-charge of the mine on the satellite phone.

”Things are troublesome. We were attacked by illegal militants for half an hour and a half today. The camp was attacked, and a peacekeeper soldier… was sacrificed.” At the mention of sacrifice, the squadron leader’s expression was sad. There was sorrow in his eyes. ”I’ll try my best to send a class over. We have to prevent them from attacking the camp again.”

It was unknown what was said on the other end of the phone, but the squadron leader smiled bitterly. ”Two classes, no more. The special materials sent to the camp will be brought out this afternoon. Don’t worry, nothing will happen!

”Alright, I’ll send two classes over. You can persuade them again. Since they’ve already targeted us once, there will be a second time. Since the equipment has almost been transferred, let’s hurry up and retreat. The situation is tense. I don’t know how long the government forces can last. We can’t let anyone stay in the mine. We can’t even let the guards stay!”

When the squadron leader ended the call and came out, he knew that the special forces soldiers who supported them had already left. Commissioner Miao and Commissioner Tao insisted on staying in the camp.

They could have left, but they knew that they couldn’t keep up with the speed of the special forces soldiers. If anything happened, the soldiers would even be implicated. No matter how the soldiers persuaded them, the two commissioners refused to go with them. Even the three accompanying students insisted on staying.

The reason was that they needed to take care of the two teachers.

The squadron leader sighed softly. The camp was temporarily safe. They would protect the two commissioners with their lives.

He had already applied to evacuate Yeni. It was up to the president of Libya to allow it.

It was all thanks to that group of comrades today. If not, the entire camp would have become a ’killing ground’. If it wasn’t for the fact that the materials were too important, he… really didn’t want the comrades who supported them to leave.

At 4:00 pm, the illegal militants who occupied Yeni received support. Yeni was in a state of emergency!

At 5:00 pm, the government forces, who had the upper hand, suffered another crushing defeat. Moreover, Yeni was completely occupied by illegal militants.

The camp immediately informed the Chinese mine that was more than 100 kilometers away from the camp and asked the Chinese workers who were still guarding the mine and transferring the equipment to leave.

Since the battle in Yeni started at 4:00 pm yesterday, the country had issued an order for the Chinese workers in the mine to evacuate immediately. No one should be left alive.

There were more than a hundred Chinese workers in the mine. When the main person in charge received the notice, he immediately arranged for vehicles to evacuate the workers. However, the Libyan workers were unwilling to leave.

The Chinese had invested heavily in the mine. The Libyan workers were unwilling to leave, so even the person in charge couldn’t leave. As he transferred the workers who were willing to leave, he persuaded the Libyan employees who didn’t want to leave. He swore to the heavens that once the mine started work, he would immediately ask the Libyan employees to come back and work. He even printed out the agreement… However, it was useless!

Until today, there were still 64 Libyan workers who were unwilling to leave. The Chinese person-in-charge had tried multiple times, but these people refused to evacuate until the illegal militants rushed in and aimed their cold and pitch-black barrels at the workers.
