Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

More than ten special forces soldiers from the Xueyu unit had successfully landed from the transport plane. The weather was good, and the sea was calm. There were only normal deviations from the landing point.

To avoid being exposed, the special forces of the Xueyu unit landed five nautical miles away from the shore. The five nautical miles were about 9,400 meters. In addition, the normal deviation was about 9,500 meters. If they swam, they would need five to six hours to reach the shore.

It was definitely not possible to swim over like this. They needed to have equipment. The objects floating on the sea were inflatable dinghies. They were similar to an aircraft escape ladder. They just needed to pull out the tab.

The soldiers quickly deployed the inflatable dinghies. The square objects opened and instantly turned into dinghies. They first helped a comrade to the top before the comrade pulled the rest on board.

There were five people in each of the three dinghies. After fishing up the equipment, they set off for the coastline in less than ten minutes.

Some equipment couldn’t be opened. For instance, land-based communication equipment, GPS, and other electronic equipment couldn’t be used. They took out their rifles from their waterproof bags and put in the magazines. They now had their basic equipment.

They took out the paint and painted their faces until even their parents wouldn’t be able to recognize them. They didn’t even miss out their lips. They painted everything. After they were done painting their faces, their eyes were as sharp as arrows and shone with a cold light.

With the dinghies, their speed would be faster.

Ye Jian installed the heavy machine gun and handed it over to the soldier who was maintaining the firearms. In the end, she ate two bowls of noodles.

Xia Jinyuan led his troops ashore. Ye Jian and the rest had already tied the special materials to their bodies and were preparing to set off.

”We must bring them all back to the country. The country is waiting for them! We’re just one step away from completing our great undertaking!” Before they left, Commissioner Miao, who couldn’t accompany them, was still reminding them carefully. These special materials were more precious than his life. They had to be guarded well.

The 50 kilograms of special materials were tied to the 16 special forces soldiers. They even gave up their backpacks and only wore tactical vests. Even with the magazines and guns, the load was almost light.

Li Jinnian placed the specially processed materials on his waist and said to Commissioner Miao, ”Don’t worry. We’ll bring all 50 kilograms back to the country. Even if there’s only one person left, we’ll bring the materials back.”

”Good, good, good!” Commissioner Miao, whose eyes were filled with tears, raised his hand and patted the young soldier’s shoulder very gently. ”This is our hope. We’ll leave our hope to you.”

This sentence was filled with the noble spirit of a scientist who would sacrifice himself fearlessly and put his life on the line for the sake of the country.

This was also the hope for the strong and powerful soldiers as well as the scientists who often slept in the laboratory.

Captain Li led his team members to salute Commissioner Miao, Commissioner Tao, the three PhD students, and Yang Heng, the interpreter. They were carrying ’hope’. They would definitely return to the country with hope!

At 3:37 pm, the water ghosts, who had helped the camp to clean up the battlefield, departed. When they left, Ye Jian turned around and looked at Yang Heng deeply. Yang Heng didn’t agree to leave with her. No matter how she persuaded him, he insisted on staying.

He also told her why Libya was full of enemies and why some ambitious Western countries had joined them. It was because the country was weak. If the country was weak, they would be passive and beaten!

China, which had been beaten before, could not make the same mistake again. The law of the jungle had never changed!
