Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

They needed the government forces to retreat. It would be more effective to use the lives of the Chinese soldiers to threaten them.

It had been eight hours since the war in Yeni started. The government forces were already tired.

The NPFL militants were sneak attacked from the back by illegal armed forces. It was a perfect example of ’going out for wool only to come home shorn’. Instead, they were the first to retreat at around 11:00 pm.

NPFL’s original plan was to hijack the Chinese engineers and force the Chinese peacekeeping forces, including the engineering soldiers, to withdraw from Yeni and the small town of Covil. Unexpectedly, before the plan could be carried out, they were forced to retreat by the illegal militants with heavy weapons.

In the end, the leader of the illegal militants led the way and kidnapped the Chinese engineers.

At six o’clock in the afternoon, the illegal militants who attacked from the train station became the biggest winner of this battle.

Li Jinnian and his team entered Yeni just as the illegal militants were launching an attack on the NPFL. This delayed their plan to enter the train station to save Commissioner Miao and the others. Even the Chinese peacekeeping force in Yeni was attacked by the illegal militants.

At around 6:00 pm, Ye Jian was engaged in a fierce battle with the illegal armed forces in the tropical forest near the village about 25 kilometers away from the town of Covil. The Chinese peacekeeping forces in Yeni were exchanging fire with the illegal militants.

The water ghosts of the Storm Commando Brigade broke out of the encirclement several times, but they didn’t pass through the fire line set up by NPFL and the illegal militants with heavy weapons.

When Ye Jian and the Chinese soldiers who came to save her joined forces to defend themselves, a mortar from the illegal militants landed at the entrance of the Chinese camp. It was only three meters away from the camp. The shrapnel from the mortar caused two serious injuries and four minor injuries to the Chinese soldiers.

Almost eight hours later, a domestic military transport plane rose into the air from the depths of the mountain at 1:00 am and headed to the border at the fastest speed.

On this day, several civilian planes flying to the border were delayed.

At this moment, the train station in Yeni became the largest crossfire point.

The entrances to the train station were all blocked by the flames of war. There was no way to enter. The members of the Storm Commando Brigade searched for the entrance several times but were shot back by gunfire.

The government forces, the NPFL militants, and the illegal militants split up to fight. At 10:00 pm, the NPFL was defeated. Even Commissioner Miao and the other five who had moved away fell into the hands of the illegal militants.

At 10:00 pm in Libya and 6:00 am domestic time, the transport plane, which had already taken off from the border an hour ago, would soon leave the country.

There were 15 special passengers on the transport plane. The leader was Xia Jinyuan, the captain of the Xueyu unit. He led 14 special forces soldiers from the Xueyu unit to the coastline of Yeni in Libya to complete the landing.

A projector was turned on, and a combat map was projected on the white cabin door between the cabin and the passenger seat. A red dot was reflected on the combat map. As Xia Jinyuan spoke, the red dot moved slowly.

Xia Jinyuan, who was holding a laser pointer, pointed at the map. His handsome face was cold as he said in a low voice, ”We’ll complete the airborne landing here. This time, the situation is special. Considering that there are heavy weapons in Yeni, we’ll complete the airborne landing at a height of 5,600 meters. To prevent exposure, we’ll use high altitude off-air, low altitude parachutes, and the landing point will be the sea.
