Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Ye Jian didn’t have a smooth journey entering Yeni. The road from Covil to Yeni was also controlled by illegal militants. The government forces were carrying out a comprehensive cleanup. Ye Jian had no choice but to abandon her car halfway and pass through the crossfire to Yeni alone.

It was already 1:00 am when she arrived at Yeni. The flames of war were still burning in Yeni. The three parties didn’t stop fighting. The entire Yeni was so chaotic that no one dared to sleep.

The traffic, lighting, and communication systems in Yeni were all paralyzed. Ye Jian, who entered Yeni while listening to the sound of artillery fire, was shocked by the scenery in front of her for a long time.

Yeni was located on the longest coastline of Libya and was also the northern part of the most beautiful coastline. It had beautiful scenery and abundant resources. The buildings were beautiful too. It was the most unique tourist city in Libya. Before the civil strife, this place was paradise. It attracted countless tourists to Yeni for a vacation.

But now, there was no sign of heaven.

The broken beams and pillars were so dilapidated that the entire ground was desolate. The night didn’t cover the ruins of the city. Instead, it added to the despair. The beautiful scenery of the past was no longer around—only the flames of war that no one knew when they would stop.

There was a slight movement. Ye Jian, who was hiding in the dark, tilted her body slightly and locked her gaze on the place where the movement came from.

She saw two small figures struggling to climb over the ruins. They pulled each other and took turns helping each other climb out of the ruins that had been destroyed by gunfire.

They were completely exposed in front of Ye Jian. They tried their best to lighten their footsteps, but there were still subtle sounds coming from under their feet as they were dressed in rags. They didn’t know that a pair of eyes was looking at them from the dark until they were far away.

They fled toward the outside of the city. Their home was gone. They could only leave their home.

Ye Jian pursed her lips tightly. She lowered her eyes and held the rifle in her hand tightly. When she looked up again, the coldness in her eyes was even more vicious.

Ye Jian didn’t stay any longer. She rushed toward the train station.

At this moment, Yang Heng, who was as calm as water, was standing in front of the illegal militants and blocking their path.

Behind Yang Heng were Commissioner Miao and his three students. Commissioner Miao’s foot was injured by a stray bullet, so it was difficult for him to walk. Yang Heng stood at the front while the three students stood in front of Commissioner Miao. They stared at these illegal militants coldly.

Three hours ago, they fell into the hands of the illegal militants from NPFL. They were now locked up in the office of the train station staff under the control of four illegal militants.

Just now, three illegal militants with guns entered the office. They didn’t come with good intentions. When they came in, they pointed their guns at them.

Yang Heng reacted immediately and stood at the front. He remained silent and waited for the other party to speak.

The glaring torchlight swept past. The three armed illegal militants seemed to be confirming something. They looked at them one by one until the torchlight landed on Commissioner Miao’s calf.

”You, step forward!”

A cold voice was heard. He pointed at Commissioner Miao, who was sitting down.

Two illegal militants were already walking toward Commissioner Miao with guns in their hands. They planned to forcefully drag Commissioner Miao away.

Yang Heng stepped forward and blocked their path. He said coldly, ”They’re just ordinary construction engineers. I’m an interpreter sent by the Chinese military unit. I’m a Chinese peacekeeping soldier.”

Ordinary construction engineers and a Chinese peacekeeping soldier… The illegal militants chose the peacekeeping soldier.
