Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Although the team members were muttering in low voices, they were all on the same channel. No matter how low their voices were, Ye Jian could hear them clearly. She was already smiling as she approached the train station alone.

She sighed and said, ”My luck only improved a little when I reached Yeni. Before I came, I fought all the way here. After entering the small town of Covil, I exchanged fire with the illegal militants twice. After entering Yeni, I met them again. In the end, I had no choice but to abandon the car. Fortunately, my luck improved here. If not, I’m afraid that I’d still be slinking outside after you rescued the missing people.”

She smiled and sighed as she explained the dangers she faced when she came over. The faces of the water ghosts from Storm Commando Brigade turned serious. She was saying all this with a smile, explaining how she had breezed through the dangers along the way. However, they knew how difficult it was for her to come to Yeni alone.

”Thank you for your hard work, Azure Bird.”

”She’s very powerful. She’s the best female soldier we’ve ever seen.”

”Azure Bird, wait for us. We’ll meet you soon.”

”Don’t run around. The train station is a stronghold for illegal militants. You must be careful!”

The voices of the water ghosts came from the earpieces. Their voices were tense, afraid that something would happen to Ye Jian, who had already entered the hinterland.

Ye Jian’s breath was filled with the smell of gunpowder. She looked around and smiled softly. ”I’ll be careful on my side. Don’t worry about me. Alva has sent at least ten heavy machine guns over. Be careful when you come over.”

Li Jinnian pursed his lips tightly.

It was his mistake.

He didn’t predict that Yeni and the small town of Covil would become the gathering point of the illegal militants. If he could have thought of it in advance, his cousin wouldn’t have needed to take such a huge risk to come to Libya because of his words.

She was still a military school student. She should be in the country, sitting in a spacious and bright classroom and having lessons. She shouldn’t have to walk through the gunpowder to come to Yeni.

Li Jinnian adjusted his emotions and said in a cold voice, ”Azure Bird, we’re about three kilometers away from the train station.”

Now was not the time to feel guilty. They needed to find Commissioner Miao and his group as soon as possible and bring them out of this place.

As he spoke, he raised his hand gently. The NPFL militant, who had no ability to resist, was killed by Big Eel. He looked in the direction of the train station and said coldly, ”The latest news is that Commissioner Miao and the others have fallen into the hands of the illegal militants and are hiding in the train station.

”There’s a bomb shelter at the train station. Commissioner Miao and the rest might still be in the bomb shelter. The entrance of the bomb shelter is the waiting room on the west side. Go to the waiting room on the west side now and find a high ground to receive us.”

Li Jinnian had the map of the train station provided by the Chinese engineering soldiers in Yeni. It showed the layout on the ground and underground, including the underground drainage system.

”I’m approaching the west side now.” Ye Jian, who was observing her surroundings, started moving stealthily. She said, ”The dugout is on the west side. After Alva got out of the vehicle, he also walked toward the west. There’s a situation…”

Before she could finish speaking, Ye Jian quickly cut off the communication.

She pressed her body against a marble pillar and held her breath. She slowly moved around the pillar as the illegal militants walked quickly along the corridor of the train station.

Only their backs could be seen. Ye Jian rushed out and brushed past a few rocks. Then, she hunched over and hid.

The train station was huge, and there were many illegal militants hiding under the bomb shelter. It would take too long to find the missing people. They might as well try to find the rebel army general, Alva, and see if they could find Commissioner Miao and the rest through him.
