Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The squadron leader of the Chinese peacekeeping camp was silent for a long time. Perhaps he realized that the captain of the special forces, who was quieter than him, wouldn’t take the initiative to speak. He struggled in his heart for a long time and broke the silence between them.

He said in a low voice, ”There’s a batch of special materials in the camp and a specialist in electromagnetic weapons research. We need your help to bring the special materials and the specialist out of Yeni.

”Also, we suspect that there are abnormal changes among the high-ranking officials of the Libyan government. The traitor, Alva, is an example. We have to be wary.”

There had to be a reason why the two electromagnetic weapons researchers came all the way to a war-torn country. Li Jinnian didn’t know this reason.

But now, Li Jinnian roughly knew the reason.

It might have something to do with the special materials stored in the peacekeeping camp.

Li Jinnian didn’t hesitate and replied to the squadron leader calmly, ”Okay, we’re still 24 kilometers away from the camp. Based on the current advancement time, it’ll take two hours to cover 24 kilometers.”

”Okay! We’ll wait for you to come over!” The squadron leader heaved a sigh of relief. It was already beyond his expectations to ask for reinforcements from the brother company. There was only one mission for the brother company… to rescue Commissioner Miao and the others who were kidnapped.

Now, the brother company had successfully rescued Commissioner Miao and the rest. It was equivalent to completing half of their mission. When they were transferred to a safe area, the brother company’s mission would be completed.

Now that he mentioned that he needed the brother company to help transport a batch of special materials, it was actually an additional heavy responsibility for the company.

However, he had no other choice.

The engineering team was attacked by the NPFL militants. The workers risked their lives to escort this batch of special materials over. The electromagnetic commissioner who accompanied them had clearly told the squadron leader the importance of this batch of special materials. Even though he knew very well that he was giving the brother company a heavy responsibility, he had to do it for the sake of the future research of electromagnetic weapons.

There was no need for him to say it too clearly. As soldiers who fought bravely for the strength of their country, the other party would definitely understand what he was doing.

Li Jinnian naturally understood, so he agreed without any hesitation.

After cutting off the call with the squadron leader, Li Jinnian walked to Big Shark, who was treating his wound. He spoke in a low voice. The water ghosts beside him couldn’t hear him clearly.

”Let’s see how many there are. If there are more, we have to think of a way to get heavy weapons to protect the driver. There aren’t many heavy weapons in the camp. If not, they wouldn’t have asked us for reinforcements.” After Big Shark heard this, he said with a serious expression, ”These special materials must be escorted back to the country!”

”I’ll ask Commissioner Miao. He should know.”

Big Shark was about to get up when Li Jinnian placed his hand on his shoulder. ”I’ll go ask. Treat your wound first.”

They were now hiding in a flour warehouse. Their location was quite hidden. There was only one entrance. Once the iron door was closed, it completely isolated the faint morning light. It was so tight that… it was a little suffocating.

The warehouse was huge. As long as they didn’t stay in the warehouse for a long time, they wouldn’t lack oxygen. After entering the warehouse, four of them stood guard outside. The rest of them immediately treated the wounds on their bodies.

Ye Jian was treating Commissioner Miao’s wound. The people who were helping to shine a light on her were all people who knew her.

One was her senior while the other was… Yang Heng, who was still in shock. His gaze was still on Ye Jian.
