Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Sea Anemone’s voice came from the earpieces. ”That’s right. The westernmost area is the tourist bus parking lot.”

”Okay, I’ll find a high ground and see if they’re taking any action.” Ye Jian put away her binoculars and looked around. Her eyes were cold as she quickly crawled out from the corner.

Then, she climbed onto the huge rock that was originally a marble pillar with both hands. She stepped on the huge rock agilely and jumped up. She grabbed the broken marble pillar and climbed to the ceiling of the corridor with both hands. She used her arm strength to pull herself up. Then, she jumped onto the collapsed corner of the dome.

Ye Jian, who was already at the high ground of the round-shaped square of the train station, laid down tightly. Her speed was a little too fast. When she laid down, her chest was pressed down by a sharp and hard object. Caught off guard, she frowned.

She touched it. It was a piece of shrapnel that had flown to the top of the dome.

She adjusted her position and used her binoculars to observe the direction where the headlights came from. As the focus was adjusted, a soldier’s vehicle with a heavy machine gun appeared through the binoculars first. Then, an open Jeep appeared. The moment the vehicles drove out of her vision, Ye Jian’s pupils constricted.

Yang Heng!

Yang Heng was sitting in the Jeep!

”I’ve spotted Interpreter Yang Heng. He’s in the back seat of the second open-top Jeep. There are four illegal militants in the Jeep.” Ye Jian’s tone was light and fast. She reported the situation she observed. ”The first vehicle is a heavy machine military vehicle. The second is a military truck. There are a total of…”

Ye Jian glanced at the scene quickly. The military vehicles that drove away formed an image in Ye Jian’s mind. The people in the car became numbers. Ye Jian accurately reported how many illegal militants were in the vehicles.

”There are 15 soldiers in the military vehicle. Besides the main and deputy marksman, there are also two drivers in the heavy machine gun military vehicle. There are a total of 23 illegal militants. The vehicles are now driving into Saibin Avenue…”

Ye Jian had seen the city map of Yeni in the Chinese peacekeeping camp of the small town of Covil. She focused on the port, the train station, the shipyard, and the map of the four transportation fortresses in the heliport that used to be for business trips. Now, the information came in handy.

She had already memorized the traffic routes of these places. Based on the changes in the headlights and the approximate number of turns the vehicles made, she could tell which street the vehicles had driven to.

This way, the Storm Commando Brigade outside could make their corresponding combat deployment as soon as possible.

Sea Anemone thought that Ye Jian was also carrying a map of Yeni. After hiding, he spread out the map, and Li Jinnian started to deploy the combat according to the clues provided by Ye Jian.

After confirming that the accompanying interpreter, Yang Heng, was safe, what they needed to do next was to rescue Yang Heng!

Li Jinnian said in a low voice, ”Group B, rescue Yang Heng. Big Shark, bring Group A forward!”

”Group A, copy. Group A, copy.”

”Group B, copy. Group B, copy.”

Group A was led by Big Shark, and they went toward the train team. Group B was led by Li Jinnian. They started to deploy the combat plan.

Li Jinnian and Group A’s combat plan was relayed through the earpieces. Yang Heng was in the military vehicle, and there was a heavy machine military vehicle in front to clear the way. It was impossible to fight directly. They could only use their wits.

It wasn’t easy to rescue Yang Heng without alerting the illegal militants. It was difficult to outwit them too.

It was unrealistic to attack near the train station. Once the illegal militants were alerted, it would be a large-scale firepower support. The soldiers would not be able to escape successfully.

They could only follow the vehicles closely and wait for an opportunity to make a move.
