The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 525: Chapter 525: This Plot Seems Familiar, Running Away from Home to Escape Marriage?_1

Twenty-seven years!

Carson Flores’s spirit immediately lifted, could it be such a coincidence?

Carson asked, ”What happened?”

Quinn Cobb thought for a moment and explained carefully, ”Twenty-seven years ago, I was not yet the Sect Master of the Iron Mountain Sect, just a master with Grandmaster Strength and an elder of the Sect. That day, all of a sudden, a young woman arrived at our Sect, and she was very beautiful, just like a celestial being...”

As Quinn spoke, he subconsciously paused for a moment and turned to glance outside, as if worried that the young woman he was speaking of might appear before him at any second.

Sitting beside him, Randy James’s expression was somewhat uneasy, with a faint fear in his eyes.

Carson noticed Randy James’s look: ”You know too?”

Randy spoke in a low voice, ”I was also an elder of the Sect at that time.”

Carson turned to Quinn, ”Continue.”

Quinn smiled bitterly, ”The matter was actually quite simple. This woman, resembling a celestial being, came to us to ask for help in locating a man. Many people from our Sect were present at the time, and perhaps because she was so beautiful, one of the elders made a couple of teasing remarks about her, suggesting her man had run away and now she was here looking for him...”

”Who knew that the woman would suddenly turn hostile and strike the elder, killing him with a swift and clean palm hit. The Sect Master and others were naturally enraged and attacked her in return. However, her strength was terrifyingly strong, and in the blink of an eye, she killed everyone, including the Sect Master, who had attacked her!”

In Quinn’s eyes, there was still lingering fear. It was clear that even after twenty-seven years, this event was still vividly etched in his memory.

”I was terrified at that moment and hastily offered to help her find the person she was looking for. Perhaps because she realized she still needed people to do things, she didn’t continue killing. She said that she came from Mount Kahdas and that if we wanted to live, we should do the job well; otherwise, she could wipe out the Iron Mountain Sect, as replacing someone was just a trivial matter.”

She was from Mount Kahdas!

Carson was both shocked and elated. Wasn’t this the same as what his father had said years ago?

Carson had already guessed who this woman might be. When Shane Fox was pursuing his parents, wasn’t there a mysterious woman who appeared and effortlessly defeated Shane Fox, taking his parents away?

Carson asked, ”The man she was looking for, could his name be Westin Flores?”

Quinn was startled, his gaze suddenly fixed on Carson’s face, ”How do you know, Mr. Flores... Uh, you also have the surname Flores...”

Just as I thought!

Without answering Quinn’s question, Carson spoke calmly, ”Continue.”

With a look of surprised suspicion, Quinn glanced at Carson a few times but didn’t dare to ask further, and he continued his story, ”Fortunately, Westin Flores was quite well-known at the time. After a little inquiry, I learned a lot about him, including that he had eloped with a young lady from the Frost Family of the Western Capital. I reported all the information I had found to Miss Tang...”

Carson interjected, ”Her surname is Tang? What’s her name?”

Quinn shook his head, ”She didn’t say, just that her surname is Tang and she came from Mount Kahdas.”

Carson persisted, ”What was her reaction when you told her about Westin Flores and the Frost Family lady’s secret romance and elopement?”

Quinn answered with a wry smile, ”When she heard the news, the bench she was sitting on instantly shattered. I was petrified, thinking she was going to kill us, but instead she didn’t make a move. After reading all the messages, she sat silently in the courtyard for two hours, and then she left.”

Carson continued to press, ”And after that, did you see her again?”

Quinn nodded, ”I saw her again, about a month later. She reappeared in Dingburg, accompanied by two people, who were the very Westin Flores and the young lady from the Frost Family that she had previously been inquiring about...”

Carson’s heart suddenly raced, he had been searching for a long time to uncover his origins, and now this piece of news was the closest and most directly related to the safety of his parents!

Carson couldn’t help but speak with a more urgent tone, ”Are they still alive?”

”Alive.”

Quinn’s words allowed Carson’s heart to settle back into his stomach, but the next sentence made Carson’s heart rise again, ”They are alive, but in a bad state. Both were lying down, in deep comas, as if they could die at any time...”

Carson took a deep breath, ”What did Miss Tang ask you to do?”

Quinn replied, ”She asked me to bring people to carry Westin Flores and his wife up Mount Kahdas. Following her instructions, we went a long way and then at a snowy valley, she asked us to lay them down and told us to go back. I was very curious whether that snowy valley was the entrance to The Unknown Land of Mount Kahdas, but I didn’t dare to ask or stop to look since Miss Tang was not one to hold back when killing.”

Quinn paused, his tone filled with emotion, ”However, when I think about it, I still need to thank Miss Tang. If it hadn’t been for her arrival and killing the Sect Master and the other high elders, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to become the Sect Master myself for serving her twice and gaining the trust of the people, a position I’ve held until now...”

Carson sighed with relief.

Confirmed!

Fully confirmed!

This mysterious Miss Tang indeed took his parents back to Mount Kahdas. However, from Quinn’s narrative, it seemed Miss Tang might have had feelings for his father?

Father left Mount Kahdas, fell in love with Mother, and then Miss Tang left Mount Kahdas to follow...

This scenario seemed all too similar to a young master evading an arranged marriage, doesn’t it?
