I Became a Witch and Started an Industrial Revolution

But after thinking about it afterward，Dennis and the others became happy again，because they no longer needed to make a choice。

For them the Emperor himself had been the greatest obstacle to reform，but they had all sworn allegiance to the Emperor before，and unless absolutely necessary they did not want to violate this oath，although they had already prepared themselves to violate it~

Now that the old Emperor was gone，the greatest problem was gone as well，as long as the newly enthroned Emperor refused to accept reform，they would refuse to swear allegiance，and without their support，having lost the greatest support of his core base，then this Emperor would not be able to remain Emperor！

They immediately contacted Second Prince Vologases in his territory，hoping that he could announce his succession as quickly as possible before the First Prince，and make it a fait accompli before the First Prince returned。

Unfortunately Dennis and the others’ National Salvation Organization was as full of holes as a sieve，with information leaking everywhere，the news was passed out，and Aldahir who was working hard to save the army at Bared Port sensed the danger and rushed back at full speed。

As the legitimate First in the Line of Succession，Aldahir swiftly announced his succession，and designated a Noble Oath Day，hoping to complete the succession procedures as quickly as possible。

Yet at this time the Second Prince was still hesitating，for him personally，whether or not he became Tsar actually made little difference，within his own little territory，the new Tsar，which was to say his elder brother，would have to look after him。

Of course the prerequisite was definitely that he did not oppose his own elder brother，otherwise it would end with the Li family’s brotherly love and fraternal respect。

And the precedent he would set would have an extremely terrible impact，if succession did not follow the Order of Succession then what would they follow in the future？Could every generation possibly rely on a Coup for succession？

The Second Prince dragged his feet and refused to cooperate，so helplessly Dennis and the others could only launch the second plan，which was to take control of the new Emperor and the Minister of Internal Affairs in advance，forcibly compelling them to agree to begin Constitutional Reform。

And the easiest time to accomplish this，was the Oath Day，on the Oath Day every Noble Family had to gather together to swear allegiance to the new Emperor，allowing them to directly catch everyone in one net。

Aldahir quickly received the news，and it disgusted him immensely。

These people’s brains really had gone haywire，yet he could not truly do anything to them，when it came to relationships most of this group were related to him by blood or marriage to some extent，and they would also form the core of his future rule。

Could he really kill them all？Did they think the heirs of Great Nobles were cabbages growing in a field，where after one crop died another would grow？

The cultivation of a Successor at the level of a Family Leader would generally produce only one，no matter how powerful a Noble Family was it would never raise poisonous insects against one another within the Family，that would undoubtedly be leaving behind a fuse for its own internal implosion。

From something as small as a Household，to something in the middle like a Family，to something as large as a Nation what was the thing they feared most？From beginning to end there was one and only one

【Internal Strife】

Glorious Nations，powerful Families often did not die from pressure caused by external enemies。

In the end he could only hold his nose and secretly move the Oath Day forward by several hours，after midnight on the night before the Oath Day he summoned the major Families、high-ranking Imperial Officials、and members of the Imperial Clan to swear allegiance to him personally，legally completing the transition from Prince to Emperor。

The Seris Alliance thousands of miles away had also been closely monitoring this Noble Uprising led by Dennis and the others，whether they succeeded or failed would directly affect whether the Alliance’s subsequent plans continued to advance，or underwent a certain degree of adjustment。

If they could succeed，then once a new Constitution established in the name of the People was confirmed，what happened afterward would no longer be under their control，the Alliance could use other methods to exploit this People’s Constitution to complete the dismemberment of the Empire。

In terms of costs and benefits，dealing with the Empire this way would have the fewest side effects。At the very least，the subsequent risks would be far smaller than what they were going to do next，and for this reason under Anna’s direction the plan had been postponed by 12 days。

Early in the morning，Dennis and the others gathered together and held their final internal meeting，during the meeting he looked at the Noble Youths below with eyes filled with longing：

“The first person to stand up and resist the oppressors of the People，what awaits him will inevitably be death。”

“But how can Freedom be redeemed without Sacrifice？Everyone wants Freedom，but no one is willing to pay the price for it。”

“But I am willing！I will sacrifice myself for my beloved Motherland，I have a premonition！I know！I feel gratified！I praise my own destiny！”

In the early morning the Imperial Capital had not yet fully awakened from its slumber

Suddenly the sound of a military bugle shattered the silence，followed immediately by stirring Military Drums，and the officers and soldiers of the Guard Glax Regiment defending the Imperial Capital poured out of their barracks。

This was the most elite force of the Empire，smiles covered their faces，the morning light scattered across the shoulders of their Mechanical Bodies，and they marched in formation toward the center of the Imperial Capital，the Imperial Palace。

The Imperial Flag Emblems upon their Mechanical Bodies gleamed with dazzling light，all of them came from the oldest Noble Families of the Empire，and along the way they continuously shouted slogans of Long Live the Constitution，marching with great strides toward the center of the Empire under the astonished gazes of the citizens。

Their spearhead pointed directly at Aldahir I who was preparing to ascend the throne，they would demand that Emperor Aldahir I emancipate the Slaves，and implement a Constitution to guarantee the People’s Basic Rights。

3000 Mechanical Body Soldiers arrived outside the Imperial Palace amid the sound of slogans，but at this time troops far exceeding their numbers had already gathered there，and the two sides formed square formations before the Imperial Palace and entered a standoff。

Among the citizens who had followed along to watch quite a few requested to join this Uprising Force，but they were all sternly refused by Dennis and the others，they could not，or rather did not dare to call upon the Imperial Citizens to join them，they only placed their hopes on other Noble Officers bringing more soldiers。

Aldahir who had personally come to observe the battle on-site waved his saber and commanded the Cavalry Regiment under him to charge toward the rebelling Corps，hoping to use the Cavalry directly to scatter and drive away these troublesome young people，even at this moment he still had reservations。

Before the more than three-meter-tall bodies of the Mechanical Body Soldiers，horses were little different from pets，one could be slapped to death with a single hand，making defense exceptionally easy，and this caused them to become excited，continuously shouting slogans such as Freedom，Democracy，Universal Love。

Even the surrounding citizens watching began following along and shouting in imitation。

Actually if Dennis and the others had directly assaulted the gates of the Imperial Palace at this moment and captured Aldahir who was supervising the battle，they would have had a chance，because although the numbers on both sides were currently about the same，their combat strength was not equal。

As the nation’s most elite Guard Force，they possessed the best equipment and training，and within the Imperial Capital it was impossible for anyone to be their opponent one-on-one。

But as time passed they never thought of this，while more and more troops loyal to Aldahir arrived near the Imperial Palace，Tanks、Artillery began gathering outside the Imperial Palace，and the combat advantage of the Mechanical Body Formation composed of Noble Youths gradually disappeared completely。

During this period Aldahir I sent people several times to persuade them to surrender，and explicitly stated that he would not hold them responsible for anything，while Dennis and the others likewise refused to abandon their demands。

In the end，Aldahir feared that the situation would completely spiral out of control after nightfall，and ordered the Tanks and Cannons to bombard them in turns，using physical means to persuade them to surrender，suppressing them in front of the senior elders of the major Noble Families。

That night Aldahir personally presided over the trial，he wanted to see exactly what these people had been thinking。

And with the complete failure of the Alliance to Save the Nation，at the Seris Olyesk Peninsula Military Airfield，an enormous Bomber was slowly towed out of its Hangar by a Tractor。

Superfortress Technology Demonstrator Bomber

Its Wingspan exceeded 60 meters，its length was more than 50 meters，its Maximum Takeoff Weight was 160 tons，its Maximum Payload was 35 tons，with four twin-mounted sets for a total of eight Turbojet Engines each producing 40 kilonewtons of Thrust，allowing it to fly at a high speed of 1000 kilometers per hour，with a Maximum Service Ceiling of 15000 meters，and a Range of 22000㎞。

High Altitude，High Speed，Long Range，High Capacity。

At present the Alliance’s other Bombers already satisfied its bombing requirements，and the only time this thing would be needed，was when Milady was getting married。
