After waiting for the Fighter to complete its turn，Huggins lowered his head and looked toward the Carrier on the sea surface，another three Dive Bombers successively prepared for Catapult Takeoff。

Farther behind more Flight Deck Ground Crew were working in pairs to push the Bombers by their Rear Flaps into a queue behind the Catapult，continuously launching Fighters into the air at an efficiency of approximately one every 30 seconds。

As the Fighters successively took off and completed adjustment into formations of 6 aircraft each，they began climbing toward the clouds to adjust their airspace altitude。

Once they passed through the clouds，densely packed Dive Bombers appeared in the airspace ahead of the two，more than three hundred Fighters and Dive Bombers formed three Attack Waves and surged toward Pleda。

Before manufacturing Aircraft Carrier Catapults，the Alliance Navy had gone down the wrong path of Steam Catapults for a period of time。

Faster Initial Velocity，shorter runway requirements，higher launch efficiency，once the concept of Catapult Takeoff had been conceived this model was unquestionably the development path for Aircraft Carriers。

But what force should be used as the catapult power was the problem，such as gravity，hydraulics，in the end High-temperature Boiler Steam Catapult was selected，and this had even been personally decided by Mitia，because this had been proven to be a viable path in her previous life。

Although every time the High-temperature Steam Pressure was released it required some time to replenish，making its efficiency relatively low。

Moreover the exertion of force was not smooth，the initial force when it suddenly pulled and dragged the Fighter was enormous，while at the end it would sharply decay，placing extremely high requirements on the Landing Gear and Airframe Strength。

But at least before Electromagnetic Technology developed，she could not think of any better method。

However the requirements she established triggered fierce discussion and disputes within the Warship Manufacturing and Design Research Institute and Aircraft Design General Bureau。

Because after she established the specific Technical Route，within the newly formed Joint Naval and Air Research Department besides the completed Steam Catapult proposal，there was also an unnoticed new proposal reaching its final stages and going through the Technical Verification Process，namely the Magical Route。

In Mitia’s original world the jokes that everything in the universe could be used to boil water，and that steam was the Origin of the Universe，indirectly demonstrated the important position of steam in social development，and also made her want to boil water whenever she was uncertain what to do。

Then Magical Elements were the great existence in this world comparable to steam，it was merely that the Technology Tree had gone down the wrong branch in application and development。

Mitia ultimately was not a native of the Magic World，her feelings toward Magic were not as deep as theirs，much less did she possess their special attachment born from profound understanding and dedicated research，everything remained on the surface。

When she saw something good she would use it，and that was all。

But there would always be people who went to research it，Magical Elements were extremely active and explosive when drawn upon for spellcasting during combat，yet when restrained they could maintain stability，and their Energy Release was extremely smooth。

Take their application in Catapults for example，compared with exhausting brain cells designing an entire set of Steam Pipelines、Valves、Drive Shafts、Pistons and a whole series of complicated structures for a Steam Catapult，the later Electromagnetic Catapult was not much better。

But a Magical Catapult only needed a Large Energy Supply Device installed underneath，during braking the Magical Energy Supply could be gradually increased according to the different positions of the moving module，thereby completing a Linear Acceleration Process from slow to fast。

This not only reduced the Structural Stress required for aircraft launch，the Fatigue Loss endured by the device itself was also negligible，it could be said to have reduced the side effects to the absolute minimum，and even if damaged replacement was extremely simple。

Moreover its Reuse Frequency was extremely high，as long as the Magical Energy Supply was cut off，the Reset and Self-check Process could be completed within a very short period of time。

But good technology conflicted with the standards Mitia had issued，or rather conflicted with the Traditional Technical Standards represented by those scientists cultivated through Mitia’s original Technological Replication。

Right now it was only a Catapult，but what about later？As the technology was verified，if attention and investment in the field of Magic increased in the future，then the proportion of funding they could obtain would decrease。

So being useful did not necessarily mean it could be used，if no problems could be found with the technology，then they could talk about the political impact of your Technical Route instead~

During the former Federation period of the Alliance，the Mages under Federation rule had actually already begun showing signs of rising。

It was merely that at the time not many years had passed since the Federation had sent Mages and nobles equally off to become fertilizer，while the Great Industrial Innovation also made the people feel that the Federation’s technology was not much worse than Magic。

Ordinary People were even fanatically devoted to Mechanical Science，because they believed this was the only field where they could equalize or even surpass the gap created by bloodlines。

Combined with the widespread resistance among the people toward both Magic and nobles，the development and conduct of Magic were therefore extremely low-key。

Once the hatred and resentment Ordinary People had suppressed for thousands of years gained an opportunity to be released，even Mitia did not want to touch that sore spot，merely discriminating against you already counted as restraint。

That Magic had not been completely purged，defined across the Subcontinent as Sorcery and Evil Power，with its practitioners tied to stakes and so on，was already the result of her efforts~

It was only after the Alliance was established，when vast amounts of Magical Materials were organized and bound into volumes and opened to the entire population，and the threshold for Magic entering every household was greatly lowered，that Ordinary People gradually began accepting the existence of Magic again。

However the habit of keeping a low profile cultivated over many years had already taken shape，the overwhelming majority of Mages studying within the Alliance did not follow the Combat Branch commonly seen on the Continent，instead leaning toward support、research and other fields。

They tended toward exploring an entirely new direction that organically combined Magic with industry，and this field was still completely blank，so its foundations could only be built from scratch。

This was also the fundamental reason why the Alliance actually had quite a few Mages internally，yet they were rarely seen on the battlefield，basically all of them had transformed into Academic Personnel。

And this behavioral pattern combined with the Subcontinent’s faint resistance toward Magic also destined Magic to possess basically no Power of Discourse within the Alliance。

Fortunately Mitia soon discovered the Research and Development Team that was arguing its case with the higher-ups，halted the Steam Catapult Installation Testing Project，and changed it to Magical Catapult Testing。

She issued a severe warning to the Academic Cliques and Academic Oligarchs gradually taking shape internally，and finally separated the entire Magical Science Research Department into an independent Comprehensive Department before the problem was barely resolved。

After this she never again issued any specific requirements for Technical Research Projects，she would only state what she needed，as for how it was achieved she no longer asked，only looking at the resulting finished product。

However Mitia also began taking the potential of Magic seriously，besides the Catapults used on Aircraft Carriers，many other Research Projects were also being rapidly launched，with Electrification and Magicalization advancing together。

The First-generation Diode using Rune Magical Circuits for Energy Supply had basically reached the Design Requirements，and the Transistor was also on the path of development。

However Magic ultimately still possessed one hidden danger，namely that once it encountered a specialized Magic Suppression Device，it would be no different from taking an EMP head-on in the Information Age，and the cost of a Magic Suppression Device was far simpler than locally generating an EMP~

Because you understood Magic，and your opponent understood it even better，so the advancement of Electrification still could not stop。
