I Became a Witch and Started an Industrial Revolution

At the Sera Capital Assembly Hall，Prime Minister Cadmon stood on the podium，facing hundreds of Parliament Members、Worker Representatives、Farmer Representatives、Military Representatives、Allied Nation Representatives、Student Representatives and Citizen Representatives below，as well as reporters from more than a dozen Alliance Radio Stations、Television Channels and Newspapers，and expressed the Alliance’s final position in a forceful tone。

This was the final meeting in which the Alliance leadership explained the nation’s future direction to people from all sectors of the Alliance：

“This war is the Allied Nations’ trampling upon the Human Rights of all Humanity and all races in the world，it is Terrorism declaring war on Intelligent Life，we will never submit，nor will we allow the rights of our nation or anyone fighting for national independence and freedom to be trampled upon。”

“Therefore，we call for the use of every power we possess，to force the Allied Nations to unconditionally accept our Peace Terms，and end this war！”

Thunderous applause immediately erupted from the audience below，but after the applause subsided Cadmon abruptly changed direction and presented the Alliance’s ultimate objective。He held high in his hand the initial draft of the Peace Proposal that Mitia and the leaders of the Alliance’s various fields had formulated：

“After this war ends，we will establish a World Alliance according to the Empress’s wishes，this Alliance will adopt a unified standard，to judge right and wrong。”

“From individual Citizens to entire Nations，all must obey the rules we formulate，we believe，the Permanent Peace of the entire world will rest upon this Alliance！To achieve this goal，we can stake our lives，wealth，dignity，everything！”

“May the Gods bless the Alliance，because，They have no other choice！”

“If They still want to call Themselves Gods~”

Another wave of earth-shaking applause erupted below，there was not the slightest trace of decay on Cadmon’s aged face，instead his face was glowing as he calmly accepted all of it。

His speech could be said to have been arrogant beyond measure，but no one felt that anything about it was wrong，because this was also what everyone in the Alliance thought，this was the privilege belonging to the victor。

At this moment the Alliance was moving toward its peak，while the Allied Nations were moving toward death。

Millions of soldiers lay dead across the land with blood flowing like rivers，tens of thousands of Civilians were suffering from hunger and cold with no homes to return to，they were already about to shed the last drop of blood for the rotten Nobility，they were burying their own future through a method of destroying their own Great Wall。

Launching war without declaration，seizing by force，all Order、Law、Life、Faith had been trampled beneath the Allied Nations’ feet，and now all of this would rebound upon them many times over。

The current Three-Nation Alliance accounted for 65% of the world’s Steel Production，72% of the world’s Oil Production，had an Industrial Population of 70 million，and a total population approaching 230 million。

Even setting aside the Three-Nation Alliance，the Seris Alliance itself accounted for more than 55% of the world’s Resource Production，the other two nations were more like supplementary additions

The Alliance’s current Comprehensive Strength ranked first by an overwhelming margin，as long as its citizens could endure it，it could arm practically as many troops as it wanted，not only its own side，but also its allies without limit。

The Alliance，had already prepared itself to take over the entire world。

The speech delivered by the Alliance Prime Minister quickly spread beyond Alliance territory，and every nation saw the news。

The citizens of the Alliance’s allied nations cheered with joy，while the Nobility of the Allied Nations reacted as though their parents had died。

The Allied Nations had never lacked understanding of the Seris Alliance’s strength before，never doubt that elite Nobles who held power would suddenly lose their heads。

Quite the opposite，it was precisely because they understood that they wanted to use war against the Alliance to close the gap。

Before the war began，the seven nations making up the Allied Nations had all suffered varying degrees of Economic Plunder from the Alliance。

Nearly 60% of all Precious Metals already mined and circulating throughout the world，such as Gold and Silver，had gathered inside the underground vaults of the Subcontinent Central Bank。

The entire world was supporting this super monster of the Subcontinent，countless Resources were continuously being devoured by this eternally unsatisfied Glutton。

As long as it continued to exist for even one more day，they believed that they would never have good days ahead，this was the core factor behind the outbreak of the war。

As for things like Ideology，when they were important they were very important，and when they were not important they were not important at all。

Because as long as the Alliance’s form of existence did not collapse on its own，it could use its powerful strength to carry out a bloodless Coup against them through a Peaceful Transition。

And this was something they could not accept，even if their Faith、Ideology and even Race were identical they still could not accept it，this was a struggle over the Redistribution of Resources。

Either win the war and force the Alliance to share its technology，allowing the Allied Nations to achieve leapfrog development internally，or end up like now，dying early and being reborn early。

Their identities and core interests all forced them to seek every possible solution within a broad framework，but a framework was still a framework，and it came with extremely strict limitations。

They had to think about problems from the foundation of the shared interests of the Nobility，at the moment they launched the war the Allied Nations were unquestionably at their strongest，they only had this one opportunity，this was the most correct course of action，even if they were now about to fail。

But even if they could do it all over again，they would still make the same decision，because there was no second solution，they had lost to the New Era。

Because they could not resolve the Fundamental Contradiction，they could not solve the problem of Resource Outflow，could not solve the massive loss of Gold and Silver Reserves，and could not escape the Alliance’s Trade Radiation Zone。

If they wanted Industrial Development，the Alliance seized profits from every step they took，every link was filled with the Alliance’s shadow，but if they did not develop Industry they would become a Dumping Market for all kinds of goods，so tell me how were they supposed to play？

Fight？

Had they not fought well enough in the early stages？Had they not placed enough pressure on the Alliance early on？

The Alliance alone had borne 85% of Ernesto’s War Expenditures during the war，without the Alliance，Ernesto most likely would never have survived that Defensive War at all，it was the Alliance wrestling with the God of Death and forcibly piling Ernesto back to life with an excessive number of Great Restoration Pills，and Suria had been the same。

Not fight？

Even with all of them combined they could not possess Industrial Capacity comparable to the Seris Alliance，they could not even come close，if the gap was already like this during wartime，then in peacetime it would be even more hopeless，under such circumstances peacefully seeking survival was nothing more than a joke about waiting to die。

War，was merely the only path upon which they could place their hopes，because strong National Strength did not necessarily mean being good at war，perhaps the Alliance was merely a Wealth-giving Fool？

What if they only knew how to make money and knew nothing about Military Affairs，then opening such a huge Piggy Bank would be enough to fund how many years of Manor construction for them。

It was just that the fantasy had been too beautiful，while reality was somewhat harsh，for a Late-developing Nation to overtake others and rapidly widen the gap with the old-established Empires and Kingdoms of the Main Continent，that indirectly proved it had definitely done some things right。

And they had also overlooked one point，from the very beginning the Alliance was a nation established amid the flames of war，and now was the final moment when the Alliance revealed its dagger to them。

“An ideal International Order，should be a Pyramid Structure led by the Civilized World，with all parties arranged around it like stars surrounding the moon，while the Alliance sits high above at the summit。Doesn’t this theoretical system conflict with the ideal of Equality you’ve always promoted？”

Kate looked at the words Cadmon had given when answering a reporter during an Exclusive Interview in the newspaper，and asked Mitia beside her somewhat curiously。

Mitia nodded：“That’s right，it conflicts，this is the final solution made on the basis of Alliance-first Theory。”

After taking a sip of Juice she continued：“Overall，this system is wrong。But due to the limitations of the era，this is as far as we can go。”

“Although it isn’t perfect，and has very many fatal problems，within one century it will still be the Optimal Solution，it will completely eliminate Large-scale War and usher in a Period of Peace。And this century will be the Buffer Period we have fought for to search for a new method。”

Kate subconsciously asked in return：“Then what if we still haven’t found one after this century？”

Mitia smiled upon hearing this：“Then the Alliance will probably become the most terrifying Evil Dragon in history，even I wouldn’t dare guarantee that I could deal with it~”
