I Became a Witch and Started an Industrial Revolution

“Why is it possible for the Alliance to become an Evil Dragon that even Mitia cannot deal with？”

To Kate，Mitia’s answer was simply far too fantastical，this nation had been personally founded by her，every field bore traces of her personal guidance，her existence had sunk deep into people’s hearts，and she was the spiritual harbor of the overwhelming majority of the citizens。

No matter how one looked at it，her influence over this nation had penetrated into its very bones。

Mitia did not directly answer her confusion，but instead began sorting things out from the beginning：

“What is the essence of International Relations？Struggles between nations？No，it is a natural state of Anarchy，namely，a war of everyone against everyone。”

“In the history of the Magic World there have also appeared various systems that attempted to maintain peace，such as diplomatic mediation and arbitration between nations，and ensuring peace through a Balance of Power between nations。But this had no real meaning，because once that balance was broken，war would begin right on schedule。”

“But now a turning point has appeared。”

Inside the dim Tower，Mitia carried Kate as she climbed step by step along the spiraling stone staircase：“It is the Globalization I mentioned。”

“Now let me ask you，how do you think the borders of the Empire of Mantogore，Britian，Wallis and other Empires were established？”

Kate gave a rapid series of answers：“Force？Language and culture，National Identity？Gods？Church intervention？”

Mitia shook her head and rejected them one by one：“A Common Market，a Customs Union。”

“Gods，Churches are also unable to interfere with this kind of abstract concept，or rather this aspect is also beneficial to them，their intervention is simply to consciously or unconsciously expand this market。”

“This market will earn more profits for them collectively，and can also use market regulation to deny other nations and peoples the ability to earn profits within this market，the greater the profits and the better the Living Environment，the higher the citizens’ Happiness Index，and the more loyal they will be to the Gods and Churches。”

“Every Kingdom and Empire is one such Closed Market，and all of them want to expand it，so war will always arrive，continuously repeating in an endless cycle。”

“Even without the Alliance’s existence，because of the sharp contradictions between Closed Markets，fierce wars would still erupt among them internally，until one side completely occupied the other side’s Resources。”

“But，if these Trade Barriers formed by each nation can be broken，allowing goods to circulate freely within a Globalized Market，then just like the Empires created by those markets，a World Government that transcends the concept of an ordinary Nation is entirely imaginable。”

“This is why one of our greatest demands toward the Allied Nations is called the【Open Door Policy】。”

“Our ultimate objective in the first stage is not Free Trade，and never will be。Instead it is to use the ‘Free Trade formed through the Open Door’ market，to leap directly into becoming the absolute leader of this New World Government！”

Mitia stood atop the towering Tower and looked down over the city below that was waiting to be rebuilt，the fierce cold wind at high altitude carried snowflakes that battered her beautiful face：

“Throughout history，whether Kingdoms or Empires，their envisioned blueprints for the future were nothing more than a larger and stronger version of themselves，a larger Wallis Empire，a larger Britian。”

“But the world I envision has no borders，wherever the sun and moon shine，wherever rivers reach，all shall be the sovereign’s land。”

“This time is an excellent opportunity，in terms of Military Strength，we are the world’s largest Arsenal。”

“In terms of Economy，we firmly grasp the lifelines of every nation that Railways can reach。”

“In terms of Influence，we can already freely decide when and where this war should end，and in what manner。”

“Now，the only thing the Alliance needs to do is figure out how to ascend the throne and be crowned with the most majestic image，to legislate for the New World，and provide everyone with a unified Moral Standard。”

“And I already left Anna a Publicity Proposal beforehand。”

“There is no victor in this war，within the old cycle of violence，victory means that peace is imposed upon the defeated，and peace built on such a foundation is nothing more than a patch of Quicksand。”

“Therefore，the Alliance’s final External Propaganda will emphasize that what we are striving for is Peace，not Victory，a Peace Without Victors。”

Amid the cold wind Kate understood why Mitia said she would be unable to control it。

If everything truly advanced according to her vision，the Alliance that took striving for Peace as a Universal Standard would incorporate the overwhelming majority of nations participating in this war into this entirely new system。

At present only the Alliance could guarantee this Peace，and after the Kingdoms and Empires were dismantled in the future，only the Alliance would possess enough strength to provide the necessary Armed Guarantee for Peace。

A World-level Great Government that influenced every aspect of another nation through the Globalized Economy，deeply binding every nation around itself。

If this Great Government wanted to maintain its existence，then this Super Regime would have to maintain an absolutely dominant level of Military Strength，at the very least enough to withstand the entire world in a Unipolar State，while the costs required for this could be paid using the wealth harvested through the Globalized Economy。

This hidden idea could not be concealed from Kate，because the Alliance had always done things this way，it was just that after this time the Alliance’s methods would be given a legal and compliant outer shell，because the Regulations themselves were being formulated by the Alliance...

And the prerequisite for the Alliance to become the leader of this new system，was to carve itself upon the tombstones of all Privileged Classes and the power of other nations，Economic Globalization had actually already completed World Unification from another angle。

The opening act of this Beautiful New World，was that every Nation and People had to humbly prostrate themselves at the Alliance’s feet。

And the Alliance，would act as the Arbiter of the current war，the Rebuilder of the future World Order，and ascend the throne in radiant splendor。

Although Mitia had already completed the transformation of the Alliance’s Ideological Core，the current Alliance might not be red enough，but at the very least it still carried Red Ideology，and in the future this kind of thought would become the mainstream of the world。

In a certain sense，part of her vision had already been realized。

But after this round of massive expansion her own influence might no longer be able to keep up

She was going to fall behind~

A Super Consortium whose overall Sphere of Influence covered several billion people and dozens or even over a hundred nations，Mitia’s own influence ultimately only covered the Alliance’s homeland and parts of other Allied Nations，she did not possess the same level of influence across the entire world。

Would the citizens of the nations newly joining this Consortium hold the same reverence for her？

As time passed，the Alliance homeland which held absolute Distribution Rights would basically never again encounter any danger capable of threatening its own security，because its Military Strength was the strongest in the world。

In the future when her strength gradually failed to keep pace with the Alliance

Under a wealthy、safe、comfortable life，would they still feel gratitude toward the woman who had led them out of hardship during their humble beginnings，and heed her call？

How many people could still remember the suffering of the past and maintain their original convictions，who could say for certain？

And once this Super Community of Interests where supervision had completely failed went off the rails...

Thinking of this Kate’s small body could not help trembling：“Is it still possible to stop now...”

Mitia shook her head：“This is a path we must pass through if we want to advance toward a higher level of Civilization。”

“Endless internal conflict between multiple Regimes and multiple Nations will only trap us on this land and grind us to death，a Global Centralized Government is bound to appear。”

“Even if...it is extremely extremely dangerous。”
