He turned his head and looked out the window

The impact of the Atomic Bomb explosion was extremely far-reaching，the intense Repulsive Reaction swept away every Magical Element within the area affected by the explosion，forming an absolute Magic Suppression Domain。

The farther one was from the Subcontinent，the more clearly one could see that conspicuous blank arc within the Elemental Ocean spread throughout the Magic World。

As time passed，a Special Element began slowly filling the spherical cavity，preventing the Magical Elements within this region from reconverging for a long time，from afar it looked as though a sun had risen within the Elemental Ocean，arrogant and domineering。

This power~

If it was not controlled by the Alliance，then the terrifying might of this power was enough to seriously injure the Alliance。Everyone knew that a wounded beast was at its most frenzied，so naturally he needed to retreat immediately to avoid bringing disaster upon himself。

Conversely if this was created by the Alliance，then he needed even more urgently to sever contact with Aldahir and choose sides again，the Allies formed by the Britian Empire absolutely had no ability to counter this thing。

Although doing so seemed somewhat dishonorable，the Blood Race sought allies in the first place to reduce their own losses while achieving their objectives，and for that they could pay a certain price to find others to share the risk。

But if an alliance could not satisfy this prerequisite then naturally there was no need to abide by it，preserving one’s own strength was far more useful than any words。

As the intensity of the war increased，after exhausting the accumulated stockpiled supplies，the Empire’s own supply capacity also began declining，domestic prices changed three times a day，and the purchase price of food was already close to exceeding the limit commoners could bear。

So many Imperial commoners unlocked a new purchasing method，they set their sights on passing military Logistics Convoys，ambushing and robbing supply vehicles along logistical routes。

The Armed Riots within the Britian Empire greatly delayed the Reserves heading toward the Main Battlefield。

And the Third Army Group，which had been tied down by the organized surrender of the main Allied Nations forces，once again set its War Machines in motion，launching a fierce assault against the final Allied Army positions that were still stubbornly resisting。

The advance of the Front Line went extremely smoothly，although they encountered stubborn resistance from the Allied Army during the process，they were far too weak，the heavy snow and Airspace Blockade had cut off every possibility of obtaining supplies。

Prolonged cold and hunger had brought their bodies to the verge of collapse，leaving only their will to fight supporting them as they launched counterattacks。

Tank tracks crossed the trenches，the Main Guns constantly shifted direction to clear one Fixed Firepower Position after another，while the Death Symphony formed by Machine Guns and Cannons played without end。

Several Alliance Storm Assault Troopers wearing Heavy Mecha jumped into the broad Communication Trench，Second Lieutenant White raised his MG34 General-purpose Machine Gun and aimed at the terrified enemies inside the trench before mercilessly pulling the trigger。

The ferocious Rate of Fire killed the Allied Army soldiers inside the trench with extremely high efficiency，in an instant the already filthy passage was filled with flying flesh and blood，smearing the inner walls of the passage red and yellow。

【Maintain formation and positioning，carefully observe suspicious areas，open fire directly without reporting。White，you two cover the rear。】

Their comrades ahead rapidly pushed forward and were responsible for clearing visible enemies，while White and another teammate advanced slowly and searched carefully，ensuring as much as possible that their comrades would not be ambushed from behind。

He controlled the Mecha standing more than three meters tall and carefully observed every passage junction，as the Communication Trench was the primary route used to move soldiers to reinforce and transfer between various trenches，no one knew from which direction a squad of soldiers might suddenly emerge the next moment，so no amount of vigilance was excessive。

The squelching sound of flesh being crushed beneath his feet did not distract White in the slightest，when suddenly a noise caught his attention。

“There’s someone inside！”

After warning his nearby teammate，White raised his gun and advanced toward the relatively spacious excavated chamber，places like this were generally Underground Barracks dug out for soldiers to live in，allowing reinforcements to be dispatched to various locations immediately。

White pressed one of the buttons on his left arm，the thick side panel at the Mecha’s waist automatically sprang open，revealing neatly arranged Smoke Grenades。

An Allied Army soldier with sunken cheeks hid inside the dugout writing furiously，from time to time he turned his head toward the passage entrance，terrified that the enemy might emerge from around the corner at any moment。

What he had not expected was that instead of waiting for the enemy’s black gun muzzle，a Grenade was thrown in from outside。

Fortunately the explosion he had imagined did not occur，large amounts of thick smoke poured from the Grenade，the intensely irritating smoke made his eyes ache and left him struggling to breathe：“No，wait...I...”

‘Bang bang！’

Two gunshots sounded inside the dim Underground Barracks，then everything returned to silence。

“Little White？”

After a while，the teammate standing guard outside the passage subconsciously called out。

The tall figure emerged from the smoke，White’s muffled voice came through his headset：“It’s fine...the danger has been eliminated。”

The battle lasted less than two hours before entering the Battlefield Cleanup Phase，after White handed over his assignment he casually chatted and joked with his teammates for a few moments，then returned alone to the Barracks and removed his Mecha。

He rummaged through the Tactical Pack on the back of the Mecha，pulling out the sheet of paper he had personally stained with blood，this paper had been clutched in the hand of the soldier he killed。

He unfolded the wrinkled bloodstained paper

“Dear Mia I love you，but at this moment I am about to die。”

“I regret it so much now，why didn’t I express my feelings to you back then。But if I don’t say it now，I’ll have even less of a chance once I reach Heaven。”

“During the days back home how deeply I loved you，but I was afraid saying it would hurt our friendship。And I knew that the one you loved was Dirk，so I chose to bury this love deep within my heart。”

“But now I will never again see your beautiful eyes，never again see your golden hair，never again hear your sweet and pleasant voice。”

“War is far too cruel，I stopped believing long ago in those lies they told us about fighting for the Empire。The thing I want to do most right now is tell you that I love you，even though you will never know。”

“The artillery outside is very loud，my bed is shaking，the enemies are charging toward us，I can already hear the sound of tracks。Perhaps I don’t have much life left。”

“The wound on my foot hurts badly，as though a knife keeps cutting into it。Do you still remember when I accidentally cut myself with a knife，you gently bandaged my wound，now none of it can ever return。”

“I regret that back then I did not give my life to you，but instead gave it to this sinful war。I killed many people，and I too will be killed by someone else。”

“The enemy is already only a dozen or so meters away from me，they should have already discovered me，Heavenly God，please give me a few more minutes I still have so much I want to tell you once I reach Heaven I will definitely wait for you Mia，no matter how many years I will keep waiting for you there’s no time enemy...”
