“Hard to believe，we would actually commit something so utterly unconscionable，the Lodimir Family will be shamed because of me！”Dennis fiercely pounded the earthen wall inside the cell。

Ardashir’s idea had been extremely beautiful，using the smallest possible cost to create the greatest possible trouble for the Alliance，this time the threat posed by the Corpse Beasts was even greater than when the Allied Army had first gone to war with the Alliance。

But intentionally or unintentionally he had overlooked one point，or rather simply did not care，and that was whether others could accept such methods。

A tactic with unknown results，with millions of Ordinary People paying for it with their lives，those small-bodied Corpse Beasts constantly tortured the consciences of anyone who still had one。

Using such methods against the weak was an act of absolute cowardice，this way of thinking was not unique to Mitia，most children of noble families held the same mentality。

It was true that they wanted to win merit and establish achievements，wanted to loyally serve their sovereign and nation，but very few had ever thought of achieving such goals by slaughtering countless weak lives。

The education they had received，their sense of noble honor，and their own youthful spirit all refused to permit behavior like this。

But in Ardashir’s eyes，on the battlefield only victory and defeat mattered，not the methods。

So after Dennis flew into a rage during the meeting，Ardashir’s Personal Guards immediately controlled him and escorted him to a cell to face the wall and reflect。

Ardashir also had a headache over how to punish these people，besides Dennis there were also large numbers of officers who had expressed dissatisfaction。

At the beginning Ardashir had kept completely silent about those things he transported in order to maintain secrecy，simply dismissing them as some military supplies，it was only after the Corpse Beasts erupted on a full scale that they learned about it，so after repelling the Corpse Beast attack they began reopening old accounts。

These children of noble families generally possessed an extremely strong sense of belonging toward their nation，they regarded expanding territory for the nation as the highest honor，whether morale、strength or loyalty they were all extremely high。

But having received a good education they were also extremely opinionated，their strong sense of honor showed itself in every aspect，far beyond patriotism alone，so they fundamentally would not listen to Ardashir’s nonsense。

Ardashir also felt bitter inside，things had already reached this point so how could he still care about anything else，reducing the Alliance’s threat to the greatest possible extent was what they needed to accomplish most，as long as that objective could be achieved who cared how many people had to die。

If the war was lost a Prince like him would be the first to suffer，when he himself was about to be finished how could he have time to think about the future，naturally every method available had to be used，and for that he could accept bearing a certain amount of infamy。

It was just that even though he had set such a universally condemned precedent，it seemed he still had not done much to the Alliance，and even gave the feeling that he had made a terrible move。

Because defending against these indiscriminately attacking Corpse Beast hordes also did not place much pressure on him，they neither possessed anti-aircraft capability nor could fly，and no matter how many there were on the ground the number capable of attacking simultaneously remained constant。

As long as no major accident occurred and a huge breach was not opened，the Corpse Beasts were almost incapable of breaking through the defensive line he had established。

Correspondingly the Alliance side should have been the same。

And the Alliance defenders on the Western Front truly could hold，after blocking the first wave of Corpse Beast attacks various bombs and Heavy Rockets had not stopped falling across Cabansia’s skies，continuous Fire Suppression Coverage greatly reduced the Corpse Beast groups capable of simultaneously charging the Alliance Defensive Line。

At the same time Light Tanks were dispatched to the frontline in batch after batch，the physical attack power of the Corpse Beasts could not even tear open the protective steel plates of Light Tanks，they could be delivered for use without even needing Magitech Packages installed。

Especially the configuration with Rocket Launcher Pods and Machine Gun Turrets installed on the chassis of new-type Light Tanks，while causing powerful casualties they themselves suffered little damage，eliminating everything cleanly was only a matter of time。

The firepower network of Standard Assault Rifles and General-purpose Machine Guns was likewise not something small-scale Corpse Beast groups could charge through，when their numbers were large they were simply eliminated through concentrated Heavy Firepower Projection。

When instinct-driven creatures were bombarded like this，after suffering such enormous casualties they also began becoming timid，turning around and withdrawing to attack other relatively easier targets instead。

The result was that as the fighting continued the pressure on Ardashir’s side actually became greater and greater，his rear material supply gradually began failing to keep pace with frontline consumption。

While simultaneously sustaining expeditionary warfare and rebuilding a massive active-duty force，the internal resource pressure、production pressure、and conscription and mobilization pressure throughout the Allied Nations all began approaching their limits。

They did not possess the Alliance’s highly efficient industrial chains，their arms production and manufacturing capability relied on individual small workshops combined with a small number of large Military-industrial Factories。

For them at most they could issue a few rigid standards regarding production quantities，problems such as cost control and chain optimization were beyond their ability to solve，and they did not want to solve them either。

This was not a problem faced by Ardashir alone，but pressure being borne throughout the entire Allied Nations，or rather the trap Mitia had left for them was beginning to take effect。

Tanks，firearms，artillery had all been technologies she had deliberately decentralized back then，allowing the various nations to see the benefits of these weapons while also obtaining the technology，thereby leading the world’s weapons development trajectory astray。

Unlike the Alliance which under Mitia’s guidance had carried out generation after generation of research、development and iteration，the research institutes of each state all possessed technological reserves with orderly inheritance。

The technologies in the hands of the Allied Nations had been obtained suddenly as though forcing seedlings to grow，their research and manufacturing foundations remained a complete blank even now。

For example the new generation of Allied Nations Tanks had weights reaching almost the hundred-ton level，even the smaller ones started at fifty or sixty tons。

Without the most crucial link of scientific foundations，blindly relying on iteration atop the technological base they had earlier obtained from the Alliance，making them larger and heavier was almost the only solution。

Because the improved Saint Shamon introduced by the Roshek Tsardom back then had been specially developed by the Alliance for the pitiful industrial foundation of the Tsarist Nation，using materials that were comparatively easy to obtain and prepare。

And because of this，to ensure good defensive performance the weight of conventional steel simply could not be reduced，they also had no concept of developing Special Steel，unable to find an entry point they could only attempt to solve these problems from the magical side。

Without a complete industrial chain，the construction of heavy weapons such as Tanks and artillery became a form of meticulous craftsmanship，so they could only attempt to strengthen individual units。
