Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 320: Chapter 318: The Situation of Eldest Princess Anna

[The Secret Treasure Vault of an Employee (Treasure): A beleaguered employee suddenly died at work, his soul becoming a mysterious entity that turns on the computer automatically during the day, collecting odd items and hiding them in his treasure vault.]

This is the map recording the location of the treasure vault.

[Treasure Location: No. 22-17, South Flow Road, second cubicle in the restroom at the end of the third-floor corridor.]

After the last piece of information was transcribed onto the white paper, Gu Xi then put the paper away. Holding the paper, Gu Xi realized that now the white paper was just a single sheet, but as long as he wanted, recorded information could immediately appear again.

This situation wasn’t bad at all.

As for the [Record Paper] that Gu Xi brought back, he hadn’t found a use for it yet.

He feared he would have to send it to the library for storage shortly.

As Gu Xi was contemplating this, Luna flew back with the owl.

”Did Shaya receive the message?”

”Yes, we’ve got preliminary information. Shaya said she would seek out more detailed information.”

”Let’s hear it.”

Gu Xi asked curiously.

”Shaya said that when we got back to Victoria City, it was already more than ten days after the Westminster Cathedral incident; Westminster Cathedral had been dragged into the Mirror Image Space.

At that time, Eldest Princess Anna had died in battle, yet her body was never recovered.

We returned the body, conveniently giving the British Royal Family a semblance of dignity, although the body we sent back was not truly Eldest Princess Anna’s body.

But this best suited the interests of the royal family at the time, so they chose to accept Princess Anna’s body and resurrected her, transforming her into an Undead Wizard, becoming a new Guardian Hero for the British Royal Family.

These matters weren’t made public, and Shaya had to seek certain individuals to obtain this information.

However, Shaya specifically inquired, the British Royal Family doesn’t blame us; instead, they consider it a merit that we’ve returned the body of Eldest Princess Anna.”

Upon hearing this news, Gu Xi understood what was going on.

When the Westminster Cathedral major incident began, Westminster Cathedral in Victoria City had already encountered the Great Monarch in the Mirror World.

With so many days passing by, Eldest Princess Anna had almost no chance of survival.

Eldest Princess Anna’s great-aunt, Northern Flower Sivertana, is a level 20 Legendary Necromancer.

She surely participated in this battle. After Princess Anna died, her revival and Undead Transformation were likely her work.

However, Eldest Princess Anna was the stubborn type.

Facing powerful enemies, dying once wasn’t enough; she’d charge forward again a second time.

Having died multiple times, she eventually became unable to even respond to a summoning.

If Gu Xi hadn’t inadvertently sent Anna’s Holy Knight out, the body might have been left hanging in Westminster Cathedral, serving as nothing more than decoration.

”So, you mean that Britain now no longer acknowledges the body we just acquired as Eldest Princess Anna, right?”

Understanding the situation, a thought suddenly flashed through Gu Xi’s mind.

Hearing Gu Xi’s words, Luna nodded: ”Yes, that’s what it means.”

”Then let’s find a way to save her.”

After thinking for a bit, Gu Xi finally said.

Whether he could save her or not, he wasn’t sure yet, as the condition of Eldest Princess Anna’s body was quite severe and would require a long adjustment and transformation process.

”Keep an eye on Evil Wood Lake, and if there are any changes to Eldest Princess Anna’s body, notify me immediately.”

”Understood.”

After finishing the matters at the tavern, Gu Xi immediately headed for the library.

Gu Xi saw no use for the record paper, so it was naturally stored in the library, and he also needed to collect this week’s three peas from the library.

Once he had the three peas, Gu Xi planned to go back and rest. He’d been busy the entire night, and if he didn’t rest soon, it would already be daylight.

This time, Gu Xi’s luck wasn’t too bad. Although he didn’t get a blue quality pea like last time, the attributes of the three peas were still quite decent.

[Princess Pea (Green): When planted, it can sprout into a Pea Princess. Though small, she possesses all of the princess’s accessories (No combat power, can survive for 30 minutes).]

[Ghost Pea (Green): After consumption, the body can become as incorporeal as a ghost for 30 minutes. During ghostification, the consumer is immune to physical attacks and can pass through walls, among other abilities.]

[Daoist Soldier Pea (Green): Throw the pea on the ground to summon a Daoist Soldier. The soldier is level 4 and has strong taunting abilities, quickly drawing the attention of nearby enemies.]

After storing all three peas, Gu Xi glanced at the empty library and then turned to leave.

Outside the library, the Corpse Charm Demon had been waiting.

Seeing Gu Xi emerge, the Corpse Charm Demon quickly caught up.

”It’s pointless to follow me around; why don’t you go inside and read some books? Although it’s all fairy tales, the content is still good. Learn something from them, and when I have enough time in the future, I’ll assign work to you.”

Gu Xi didn’t want to constantly have a demon with him, as it made him seem less respectable.

Someone like him should have a fairy or princess as a companion.

The Corpse Charm Demon didn’t speak. As an Undead Soldier, she would obey the orders of her superior.

Since Gu Xi issued no command before, she had been following him around, shielding him from all troubles.

Now that Gu Xi gave an order, she would naturally go to complete the task.

So, under Gu Xi’s watchful eyes, the Corpse Charm Demon entered the library to read.

That’s when Gu Xi realized the Corpse Charm Demon seemed to be part of the magic system. It appeared that once the Skeleton Mages had learned enough, he could arrange for some of the other magic troops to learn skills at the Magic Tower.

It couldn’t be just the Skeleton Mages learning magic skills because, in Gu Xi’s troop, other magic troops had slowly started to emerge.

They should learn different techniques to play a role on the battlefield.

After noting this down, Gu Xi exited Yalidov City.

Returning to the Tenshou Pavilion of the guesthouse, Gu Xi heard a chaotic clashing of swords and axes from outside.

Slightly bewildered, Gu Xi opened the door and stepped out of the room.

He discovered Wudou Minami, wearing her nightgown, was shrinking timidly at the corner of the stairs, cautiously observing the battle outside.
