This time, Gu Xi placed the three Bone Storms in the left, center, and right directions, focusing entirely on controlling the Bone Storms to push toward the enemy.

At this moment, the heroes Arroyo and Robbie under Gu Xi’s command also rushed here.

After all, at the two remaining city gates, there are other Undead Mages guarding them, so Gu Xi’s heroes are not needed there.

They can now come over to help Gu Xi in battle.

Arroyo was the first to arrive. Seeing the ceaselessly charging enemy, he immediately led the Black Spear Camp into the battlefield without saying a word.

With Arroyo’s addition, Amirka, who was initially commanding the battle here, also heaved a sigh of relief.

Just now, he almost got beaten from an attack status to a defense status.

Now that Arroyo and the others have arrived, the situation naturally changed again, with the previously pushed-back battle array once again charging forward.

At this time, Gu Xi did not hesitate any longer. He stood on the city gate tower, unleashing the Bone Storm downward, but sent all of his combat-ready troops out.

The Death Incarnations flying in the sky charged toward the enemy player’s position.

The Red Dragon’s Dragon Breath plowed the ground back and forth.

Every time, it would shatter the enemies frozen into ice sculptures.

At the same time, the Ghost Squad that Gu Xi had just summoned mixed with ordinary ghosts, sweeping across and cleaning up the chaotic battlefield.

In a mere blink of an eye, Gu Xi’s forces had advanced about three hundred meters.

At this moment, the player named Gao Ta also arrived beside Gu Xi.

”Not bad, brother, no wonder you can earn a title, your strength is impressive.”

”Just average, so what, are you handling these corpses?”

”Don’t worry and just watch.”

As Gao Ta spoke, he took out his equipment, a red crystal the length of an arm. When Gao Ta held it, Gu Xi could even feel the yin energy contained in the crystal.

”Soul Summoning Tower?”

”No, this is the Soul-Gathering Staff, it can’t compare to the Soul Summoning Tower. My item can only gather Soul Fragments on the battlefield and can’t enhance the success rate of Soul Summoning Skill like the Soul Summoning Tower.

I’m just using it for convenience.”

While explaining, Gao Ta demonstrated his abilities.

Meanwhile, he also casually shared some gossip from the Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild with Gu Xi.

The ability to multitask like this made Gu Xi quite envious.

However, as Gao Ta said, if one really wants to follow the Soul Summoning Skill path, this ability is something that must be cultivated.

Because for battlefield summoning, both broad and precise spell casting are needed.

Without the ability to multitask, the speed of summoning would be slower than others.

In Gao Ta’s rambling, Gu Xi learned a lot of information unknown to normal people.

For example, new players to the Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild, regardless of their background, undergo training for three months after joining.

During these three months, their path is set, and then they practice intensively.

His path was chosen after discussion with the team leader, specializing in the Soul Summoning Skill direction as an Undead Mage.

All routes are focused on the Soul Summoning Skill and its matching paths.

In his words, as long as there are corpses, he can quickly summon a powerful army.

But his current level is still inadequate; his Soul Summoning Skill is only at Level 7 and he can’t summon ghosts yet.

This is mainly because there weren’t enough corpses for practice. Now on this battlefield, with over eight thousand corpses, it’s enough to raise his Soul Summoning Skill to Level 8, possibly even challenging Level 9.

If that happens, he would be truly successful.

It’s worth noting that the first limit of the Soul Summoning Skill is Level 10. After reaching Level 10, one needs to learn the advancement path, get a Promotion Book, and then can summon higher-tier undead corps on the battlefield.

Gao Ta, by joining the Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild, has already gotten one ahead of time.

The ”Book of the Box of Fate,” which allows summoning of Corpse Witches.

As long as he levels up, learns from the Book of the Box of Fate, when encountering magic system corpses on the battlefield, he will no longer summon cannon fodder skeleton mages, but directly summon powerful Corpse Witches.

The effect is equivalent to half of the Ghost King Cloak.

The reason it’s half is that the Book of the Box of Fate only targets magic system corpses; if it were the full set of the Ghost King Cloak, it would apply to all corpses on the field. Even a Level 0 farmer’s death would summon a Corpse Witch.

But even so, this is still quite formidable.

In the undead corps, Corpse Witches are already a high-tier species, starting at Level 6, and their status is just slightly weaker than Death Knights; they also wield large-scale spells that can even knock down Death Knight charges with sufficient numbers.

The Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild even has a specialized Corpse Witch Legion, replenishing its troops with players specializing in the Soul Summoning Skill.

Hearing the arrangements of the Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild, and comparing them to his own Sunshine Radiance Guild, Gu Xi silently thought to himself.

It’s okay, at least there’s freedom in the Chaoyang Radiance Guild.

Gao Ta didn’t notice Gu Xi’s expression and continued discussing the advancement of the Soul Summoning Skill with him.

He also realized that Gu Xi’s Soul Summoning Skill level was quite high.

After all, being able to summon ghosts on the battlefield indicates reaching Level 8.

By asking about the next steps, it was an opportunity to foster goodwill with Gu Xi.

”I say, if your guild hasn’t prepared a Promotion Book, you should definitely prepare in advance. With your current situation, reaching Level 10 is basically a matter of one or two battles.

The Book of the Box of Fate is a must-have; everyone would want a Corpse Witch.

If you’re in the habit of raising Vampires, then the Blood Feast Book is something to prepare.

And with all those dragons, the Ghost Dragon Book is essential to learn so that when the Red Dragon dies, you can use the Soul Summoning Skill and immediately transform it into a Bone Dragon.”

”Are these books hard to get?”

Gu Xi controlled another Bone Storm aiming for critical strikes on the enemy battlefield while asking.

”The Book of the Box of Fate and Blood Feast Book are relatively easier; I’ve heard they’re sold in the city’s library and aren’t too expensive. The Ghost Dragon Book is not so easy to find; many places don’t have it.”

Gao Ta also had no solution to this, since Bone Dragons are key for all Undead Mages; reaching Level 10 hinges on whether one has a Bone Dragon.

Therefore, items like the Ghost Dragon Book are snatched up as soon as they’re on the market.

Even someone like him, backed by a major guild and specializing in the Soul Summoning Skill, finds it hard, let alone others.

Right then, Gao Ta suddenly exclaimed.

”I say, brother, I just summoned something good, want to try it out?”
