Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 301: Chapter 299: Destroying the City for the Land Title

Damn it.

It’s a mind control ability.

Gu Xi immediately recognized the techniques these women were using.

He also realized that his choice had been a mistake.

Among all the troops under his command, he should have never sent the Red Dragon.

Even if the other Undead weren’t as powerful as the Red Dragon, they wouldn’t fall under mind control.

Fortunately, Gu Xi wasn’t just an Undead Mage skilled in Soul Summoning Skill.

Though thirty Red Dragons were controlled, he had even stronger skills.

Just as Gu Xi was about to summon the Death Incarnation, a sudden change came from the battlefield.

The Red Dragons that had stopped their Dragon Breath didn’t turn back to Gu Xi’s army, but charged at the colorful-haired women instead.

Seeing the way the Red Dragons were acting, Gu Xi had a suspicion that these creatures weren’t under control, but maybe had been enchanted.

Faced with this situation, Gu Xi was at a loss for words.

He had anticipated many scenarios but had never expected this.

At the same time, Gu Xi noticed that as the Red Dragons rushed over, the color of their scales seemed to be undergoing subtle changes.

If this goes on, it’s likely the Red Dragons will turn into these girls’ followers.

Without further delay, Gu Xi pointed towards the direction of the Red Dragons.

”Skeleton Priest!”

A Skeleton Priest appeared near the Red Dragons, instantly bestowing them with various effects.

The Red Dragons’ eyes brightened, and their attack speed increased significantly.

At that moment, a new city gate emerged, centered around the Red Dragons.

Robbie and Arroyo charged through the gate with the Bone-Slaying Camp and Black Spear Camp.

They had already received Gu Xi’s orders while rushing out; the enemy was unique this time, and not to waste time on words—just aim for the slashing kill.

Gu Xi emphasized his seriousness in this matter, so Robbie and Arroyo decisively followed his command, unleashing their full strength immediately.

The colorful-haired girls never expected someone would suddenly attack them so close at this time.

They were still trying to enchant the Red Dragons and had no attention to spare for the situation behind them.

The Undead of the Bone-Slaying Camp charged forward instantly, slashing all the girls before they could emit those strange pink waves.

As all the girls were cut down, the Red Dragons seemed to snap out of it, flying back into the air again.

Hovering in the sky for a moment, they eventually felt a bit embarrassed, landing discreetly behind Gu Xi, avoiding further action.

Gu Xi glanced at them and found no sign of betrayal, their morale even risen, permitting them to land.

Meanwhile, with Robbie and Arroyo’s joining the fight, the battle in front became much simpler.

Robbie and Arroyo, with their differing but complementary fighting styles, quickly breached the faltering Tenshou Pavilion, killing every enemy inside.

After the last enemy was slain, a voice suddenly sounded beside Gu Xi’s ear.

[You have seized a house occupied by a demon, gaining the house’s land title. During the day, you can reside in this house; at night, you can have your troops rest here to replenish manpower. If you choose to demolish the house, you will receive 3 to 10 random Architectural Design Plans and one land title.]

”It can work like this?”

Looking at the message that popped up, Gu Xi’s eyes lit up.

As a Lord, what he lacked most were vacant plots of land and Architectural Design Plans.

This clearly seemed like a boon for him.

Gu Xi checked the time and looked at the damaged Tenshou Pavilion, decisively ordering, ”Demolish the house.”

Under Gu Xi’s command, even before the Undead started their work, the Tenshou Pavilion before them collapsed heavily. Within its ruins, Gu Xi discovered a large number of stones and wood, along with some peculiar items.

Among them, what caught Gu Xi’s attention most was a disc.

Gu Xi personally stepped forward to pick it up, triggering a prompt beside his ear.

[You have acquired an abandoned house land title, with a land area of 7651 square meters, containing 2 medium plots and 4 small plots.]

”What bad luck.”

Seeing the details of the land title, Gu Xi couldn’t help but comment.

There wasn’t any grand fortune this time; no large plot was acquired in the new land title. It seemed that luck was not on his side this time.

Yet from the land title’s area, it was still fairly adequate, providing medium and small plots to compensate for Gu Xi’s current shortage of these plot sizes.

After storing the disc land title, Gu Xi turned his attention elsewhere.

It was mentioned before demolishing a building, one could receive three to ten Architectural Design Plans. He wondered what fortune might bring this time, and if he could get some valuable plans.

The Undead, busy cleaning up the battlefield, suddenly made a discovery.

The Undead, moving stones and wood, halted abruptly, all looking toward a spot where stood a statue of a girl with twin green ponytails.

Gu Xi understood that must be an Architectural Design Plan.

Although he had acquired many Architectural Design Plans before, he had never seen such a large one.

Gu Xi walked up to the design plan with intrigue.

He was curious about the grade of the Architectural Design Plan before him. Although he hoped for a large plan, considering there were no large plots in this house, his expectations were low.

However, as he touched the Architectural Design Plan, his eyes lit up again.

[You have obtained the Green Onion Forest (large) Architectural Design Plan.]

[Green Onion Forest (large): Construct a Green Onion Forest (Large Building) in the city with 1500 resources and 20 units of wood.

Once completed, you can train 50 Onion Farmers weekly.

Once completed, 150 units of large onions will be produced weekly.

Once completed, all soldiers in the city will have their morale increased by +1.]

[Onion Farmer (Level 1): Experience (0/75), Attack 1, Defense 1, Life 5, Skills: Pay Taxes, Planting Scallions (can boost nearby soldiers’ morale during combat), can upgrade to Sword-bearing Militia at Level 3.]

Farmers again?

And these ones can even boost morale?

Initially, Gu Xi rejected the idea of a large Architectural Design Plan, but he immediately thought of the Yaliduvi Tower’s urban regions that had yet to undergo deathification, which might benefit from different attributes.

If he built this Green Onion Forest there, it could add unique features to his territory.

”Acquire it, send it back first.”
