Chapter 92: Chapter 92: Perform a Split

When Ye Xiu and Qin Qing arrived near the Da Yi Jiu barbecue restaurant, they were stunned by the sight before them.

”How can this be?” Ye Xiu asked, his eyes wide in disbelief.

”They’re in surprisingly high spirits, so happy despite having nothing left,” Qin Qing said with a laugh.

”But this isn’t the effect I wanted,” Ye Xiu said.

”Ten years ago, you were a sixteen-year-old kid. Anyone felt they could berate or beat you,” Qin Qing analyzed. ”That, coupled with your disdain for stealing or robbing, is why you ended up in such a miserable state. But it’s different for Ming Yue and her crew. There are too many of them, and ordinary people don’t dare to cross them. Plus, they have no moral compass, so they could never end up as miserable as you were.”

Ye Xiu mulled over Qin Qing’s words, realizing he had oversimplified things and underestimated Ming Yue and her gang.

It seems I’ll have to take drastic measures!

Just then, a young couple passing by the barbecue stall was stopped by Ming Yue and her people.

”What are they up to?” Qin Qing frowned.

”Let’s wait and see.” Ye Xiu’s cold gaze settled on the arrogant and domineering Ming Yue, his eyes flashing with intense Killing Intent.

The young couple who had been stopped turned pale with fear. The young man sheltered the girl behind him and asked nervously, ”What... what do you want?”

Of course, he recognized the members of the Ming Family. There were few people in the country who hadn’t seen their photos by now.

”Who gave you permission to walk down this road?” Ming Yue asked menacingly, holding skewers in her left hand and a beer bottle in her right.

”W-we’ll go back right now,” the young man said.

”Too late!” Ming Yue barked aggressively. ”From now on, this is a tollbooth for this road. If you want to pass, you have to pay the toll. Hurry up and hand over all your money.”

The young couple quickly pulled out all the cash they had and handed it to Ming Yue. The young man asked, ”This is all we have on us. So, uh, can we go now?”

Ming Yue gestured for Ming Hao to take the money and then looked the girl up and down. ”Not bad looking. Come on, dance for us to go with our drinks.”

”Tsk tsk, she is good-looking indeed,” Li Bingliang said. ”Hurry up and dance. Let this young master have some fun.”

Upon hearing this, the young couple’s expressions changed instantly. The girl’s face was drained of all color.

”I’ll dance, is that okay?” the young man asked, shielding the girl.

”No, I want to see her dance,” Ming Yue said viciously. ”Hurry up, or I’ll hack you both to death.”

”Please!” The young man dropped to his knees. ”I’ll give you however much money you want. I can go to an ATM. Please don’t give my girlfriend a hard time, I’m begging you...”

Ming Yue kicked the young man to the ground, tossed her beer bottle aside, picked up a machete, and pointed it at the girl. ”Dance now, or I’ll kill your boyfriend.”

”Don’t...” the girl screamed in terror. ”Don’t hurt him! I’ll dance, I’ll dance...”

Seeing this, the members of the Ming and Li families all began to laugh sadistically, eagerly waiting for the girl to dance.

Just then, Ming Yue spotted a young man and woman approaching, both wearing masks and baseball caps. The woman had a superb figure. She swung her machete. ”Surround them.”

Immediately, Ming Hao and Li Bingliang ran over with machetes, blocking Ye Xiu and Qin Qing from the front and back.

”Tsk tsk, now this one has an even better figure.” Li Bingliang lecherously surveyed Qin Qing’s body, his hand involuntarily reaching for her behind.

”Dare to touch her and find out,” Ye Xiu said coldly.

”Well now, aren’t you arrogant?” Li Bingliang cursed, pointing his machete at Ye Xiu. ”Kid, I think you’re tired of living. Believe it or not, I’ll chop you to pieces!”

”Go on, chop,” Ye Xiu said, taking off his mask.

Li Bingliang and Ming Hao froze, then began to tremble violently.

It’s over, it’s over! Harassing someone right under Ye Xiu’s nose... we’re so dead!

”Hey, what are you two doing? Hurry up and bring them over here to do a striptease with the others,” Ming Yue shouted.

Ming Hao and Li Bingliang didn’t dare answer. At that moment, they were too scared to even open their mouths.

Ye Xiu pushed Ming Hao aside and walked with Qin Qing until he was in front of Ming Yue. He asked with a smile, ”If I dance, would you dare to watch?”

”I’d dare!” After a moment of panic upon seeing Ye Xiu, Ming Yue responded fearlessly. The other members of the Ming and Li families, however, were just like Ming Hao and Li Bingliang, utterly terrified the moment they saw Ye Xiu.

”Not bad,” Ye Xiu said, nodding in appreciation. ”The barefoot aren’t afraid of those who wear shoes. Now that you have nothing, you’re not afraid of anything, are you?”

”What’s there to be afraid of?” Ming Yue shrugged. ”Do you dare to kill me?”

”Why do you say that?” Ye Xiu asked.

”Stop pretending. I saw through you long ago.” Ming Yue picked up a skewer, took a bite, and continued, ”You won’t kill us, and you won’t send us to the City of Asura to work in the mines. You just want to watch us experience what you went through ten years ago.”

Now Ye Xiu finally understood why the members of the Ming and Li families were so brazen. It turned out they had figured out his plan. He turned his head and beckoned to Ming Hao and Li Bingliang. ”Come here!”

Ming Hao and Li Bingliang hurriedly scurried over like obedient grandsons.

Ye Xiu looked at the young couple and asked the girl, ”Li Bingliang touched your behind earlier, right?”

”He did!” the girl nodded. She had recognized Ye Xiu and was no longer afraid.

”Which hand did he use?” Ye Xiu asked.

”His right hand!” the girl replied.

Ye Xiu nodded, picked up a machete from a table, and with a flash of cold light, sliced off Li Bingliang’s entire right arm. Blood spurted from the wound, drenching Ming Hao.

”AH!” Li Bingliang screamed in agony. The intense pain flooding his brain caused him to collapse and fall unconscious.

Watching this scene, the members of the Ming and Li families were all paralyzed with fear. And Ming Yue, who just moments before had been so confident and fearless, now had a deathly pale face, her delicate body trembling.

”Satisfying?” Ye Xiu asked the young couple.

”Very satisfying!” the two exclaimed, thrilled. Although it was their first time witnessing such a bloody scene, they weren’t afraid at all. Instead, they were incredibly excited.

”Good,” Ye Xiu nodded in approval and said to Ming Yue, ”Return their money.”

Trembling, Ming Hao quickly fumbled for the money and gave it back to the young couple.

”Go home now,” Ye Xiu said with a smile.

”Thank you, Divine Doctor Ye, thank you!” The young couple thanked him profusely and left reluctantly, looking back with every step. They had actually been hoping to get a photo with Ye Xiu.

Ye Xiu and Qin Qing found a table and sat down. Ye Xiu said to the ecstatic owner, ”Boss, I haven’t had dinner yet. Could you grill me some of your specialty skewers?”

”No problem, no problem! Divine Doctor Ye, please wait a moment.” The owner was overjoyed. Despite how much the Ming and Li families had angered him earlier, being able to grill skewers for Divine Doctor Ye felt like the highest honor.

Meanwhile, seeing that Ye Xiu and Qin Qing were settling down to eat instead of dealing with them immediately, the members of the Ming and Li families were petrified.

”Ye Xiu, what exactly do you want?” Ming Yue asked, her expression savage.

”I want to watch you all perform the splits,” Ye Xiu said with a smile. ”Get started. Anyone who doesn’t will end up just like Li Bingliang.”
