Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 72, Consecutive Level Ups

Translator: Silavin

After reaching Level 18, Lu Fan’s newly acquired Skill, Accelerated Growth Aura also Levelled Up to LV2. Now, the effect of Accelerated Growth Aura was to increase the Experience Points gained by the Pet Dragon by three times, further accelerating Xiao Ye’s speed of Levelling.

This way, the remaining thirty floors of major exam questions would not be wasted. He could convert all these Monsters into triple Experience Points to fill Xiao Ye’s Experience Bar.

Lu Fan did not waste any time and continued to sweep through the Sky Scaling Tower with Xiao Ye.

Seventy-first floor, seventy-second floor…

When they reached the eighty-third floor, to Lu Fan’s surprise, Xiao Ye Levelled Up again.

It seemed that the triple Experience Points bonus had a significant impact on Xiao Ye’s Levelling speed.

At this point, Xiao Ye’s Level had reached 14, and after multiple level-ups, Xiao Ye’s Attributes also saw a surge.

Xiao Ye’s Strength was now displayed as 4200 on her Panel. Although this was the value in World Destroyer Form, even in Battle Form, this meant that Xiao Ye’s Strength would be 2100.

Who could imagine these were the Attributes of a Level 14? The growth potential of Dragons was clearly evident.

Moreover, after Levelling Up, Xiao Ye’s four Skills, Flame Annihilation, Magma Burst, Earth Splitter, and Frightening Roar had also reached Level 2.

One could imagine that these four Skills, which could only be used after changing Form, would become even more powerful.

As Lu Fan continued to clear floors, he found that from the eighty-third floor onwards, the difficulty had increased yet again. Almost every floor was filled with Nightmare Bosses, with no minor Monsters in sight.

These consecutive Bosses would undoubtedly be a source of despair for ordinary students, but for Lu Fan, they were just Experience Points packages.

The Bosses allowed Lu Fan to Level Up again on the eighty-fifth floor, reaching Level 19.

At this point, Lu Fan’s Skills: Bloodline Sharing, Dragon Claw, Dragon Encouragement, and Dragon Fang Strike have all increased by one level each.

At LV3, Bloodline Sharing allowed Lu Fan to receive double the initial amount of Attributes from Xiao Ye. Thus, he now had 20% of Xiao Ye’s attributes. Unfortunately, there was no increase in what he got from her Passives.

Even so, through Bloodline Sharing, Lu Fan received 400 points of Attributes from Xiao Ye, with his All Four Attributes averaging around 470, far exceeding twice that of a Second Profession Change Player!

When Xiao Ye transformed into World Destroyer Form, Lu Fan’s Strength reached over 800, allowing Lu Fan to easily one-shot Bosses in the Sky Scaling Tower just like Xiao Ye!

Other Skills, like Dragon Encouragement, now increased Attributes and Combat Power by 50%, a significant improvement.

However, Lu Fan had not used this Skill much so far, because there was no need to.

Now, Xiao Ye’s Strength has reached 4200. Using Dragon Encouragement would increase it to 6300.

The Bosses in the Sky Scaling Tower did not require Xiao Ye to use 6300 Strength to annihilate them; 4200 was more than enough.

Dragon Claw and Dragon Fang Strike had also reached Level 3. Although the Panel did not show the power increase after the Skill upgrades, Lu Fan could feel that both Skills had improved to varying degrees.

Not to mention Xiao Ye, even Lu Fan himself had become powerful enough to easily clear the levels of the Sky Scaling Tower.

After all, with the average of his Attributes around 470, Lu Fan had far surpassed the realm of an ordinary examinee.

As their Levels and Skill levels increased, the rate of Lu Fan and Xiao Ye’s strength growth even exceeded the increase in difficulty of the major exam.

As they continued to clear floors, Lu Fan and Xiao Ye’s speed did not slow down at all, but rather increased.

This fact made all the principals watching the live stream question their existence once more.

From the eighty-fifth floor to the ninety-ninth floor, Lu Fan and Xiao Ye did not need to spend much time. The Boss of the ninety-ninth floor was the Apocalyptic Headless Four Knights.

Although this floor only had four Bosses, Lu Fan was somewhat familiar with the Apocalyptic Headless Four Knights.

This was the final Boss from the famous Level 55 Dungeon Instances, Ruined Kingdom.

Ruined Kingdom was one of the Dungeon Instances featured in national high school textbooks. It was extremely well-known.

Although this was a Level 55 Dungeon Instances, teams choosing to enter this Dungeon Instances usually had an average Level of 65, with a complete lineup of twenty Third Profession Change Players.

This was due to how difficult this Dungeon Instance was.

The Apocalyptic Headless Four Knights were four headless knight armors, wielding Dragon lances, knight’s longswords, and other weapons. Each Boss had high attack, defence, and Health Points. They were skilled in both Magic and Physical combat.

The four knights did not have any special Boss characteristics, but they also had no specific weakness.

Combined with Attributes far surpassing Bosses of the same level, and a Buff called Knight’s Oath, which increased resistance and defence between them, these four Bosses were like an iron plate. There was no particularly good strategy to deal with them.

Currently, the generally accepted strategy was to use multiple Third Profession Change Mages, Frost Mage Gods, using their Third Profession Change Skill, Sheer Cold, to control three Bosses, then focus fire on the remaining one.

Each time one of these four Bosses died, the effect of the Knight’s Oath Buff would weaken slightly, giving a chance to clear this Dungeon Instance.

But if there was a mistake in coordination and Sheer Cold failed to control the Bosses properly, those that entered the Dungeon Instance could only flee. Otherwise, they might face a total party wipeout.
