Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 58, He Has a Chance to Become the Province’s Top Scorer!

The principal of First Academy’s words made the other principals fume with anger, but they could not express their frustration.

First Academy was indeed No.1, with much stronger teaching resources than the other schools.

Children of many prestigious Families in Jianghai City were mostly sent to First Academy, which led to First Academy’s major exam results consistently ranking at the top. They have monopolised that seat for nearly ten years. They even produced a top scorer for the South Province in one of those years.

Although principals of other schools wanted to compete with First Academy, their students’ background simply could not compete. Their teaching resources were also somewhat behind.

Thus, over the years, the principal of First Academy had been in the limelight during the major exam. This year was no exception. Jianghai City had produced seven Hidden Combat Specialised Professions, three of which were from First Academy.

Among the other four, one was even the notoriously useless Profession, Dragon Tamer. This meant that this year’s major exam would almost certainly see First Academy laughing again.

Bai Hengjian was the most discontented among all the principals.

The eight schools’ major exam was mainly led by their Jianghai Third Academy this year. This waiting area was built with Jianghai Third Academy’s financial and Human resources. Yet, at the end of the day, First Academy would still steal the spotlight.

“It’s a pity that Lu Fan became a Dragon Tamer. If he could have gotten another Hidden Combat Specialised Profession, he might not be inferior to Hong Wu and Qin Qiu from First Academy…” Bai Hengjian lamented silently, sighing several times.

At this moment, the principal of First Academy waved his hand, and a small screen immediately appeared on the table. From it, they could see the exam situation of various examinees.

“Hehe, everyone, look at our Hong Wu from First Academy. He’s has already reached the third floor of the tower,” the principal of First Academy pointed at the image on the screen, clearly showing off.

“Although it’s only the first three floors, this is the Terror difficulty. Hong Wu managed to pass through so easily, showing that he might reach the 60th floor. By then, his points should exceed 100,000, certainly securing a place in the top 50 of South Province.”

The other principals all looked over and nodded.

At this time, Hong Wu was already on the fourth floor of the Sky Scaling Tower, facing four Level 8 Monster Projections.

With just a palm strike, a deep blue Qigong Waves appeared out of thin air, instantly killing a Level 8 Monster. The damage that one palm strike could deal was impressive.

In just a few moves, Hong Wu dealt with all four Monsters effortlessly.

Such Combat Power made the other principals envious. They sighed and wondered why such a promising student did not appear in their own schools.

Seeing all the other principals full of envy, the principal of First Academy became even more proud. He originally wanted to show others how another promising student from First Academy, Qin Qiu, was going through the exam. However, he discovered that one person at the table was not watching Hong Wu. In fact, that person seemed to have no interest in seeing how well Hong Wu was performing.

That person was Qin Shanhai.

At this moment, Qin Shanhai was looking at the waiting area below, seemingly very interested in a student who had not chosen to enter the Sky Scaling Tower yet.

The principal of First Academy became curious, not understanding why Qin Shanhai would have no interest in Jianghai City’s future top scorer. Instead, care about some other student.

“City Lord Qin, which student are you focusing on? Is there a student whose potential is even greater than Hong Wu from First Academy who is worthy of your attention?” the principal of First Academy took the initiative to ask.

This question from the principal of First Academy immediately drew everyone’s attention to Qin Shanhai. They naturally found this behaviour to be strange.

Indeed, Qin Shanhai was not watching First Academy’s top student, Hong Wu, nor was he paying attention to his own Daughter, Qin Qiu. Instead, he seemed very interested in a student below.

This was really strange.

The well-known promising students from the eight schools should have all entered the Sky Scaling Tower by now to take the major exam. The remaining students were those who lacked confidence in themselves and had not found suitable teams.

What promising student among this batch could catch Qin Shanhai’s attention?

Everyone guessed that Qin Shanhai might just be lost in thought.

But unexpectedly, when the principal of First Academy asked, Qin Shanhai smiled and answered, “I do know a promising student who has a chance to win the top spot in our Jianghai City. He even had a high chance of becoming the top scorer of our province!”

“Oh?!” Hearing this, everyone was shocked.

“Who is City Lord Qin talking about? Which school is he from?”

“That shouldn’t be the case, right? I paid close attention to this year’s Profession Change Ceremony. Any student who performed well should have already entered the Secret Realms.”

“Could there be a student who’s very low-key, and changed to a very powerful Profession, but we don’t know about it?”

“Maybe there is a student with high Attributes, who can display amazing Combat Power even after changing to a normal Combat Specialised Profession?”

The principals discussed amongst themselves.

Qin Shanhai smiled and pointed at Lu Fan below, saying, “The one I’m talking about is this child, Lu Fan from Jianghai Third Academy!”

“Lu Fan?!”

Except for Bai Hengjian, all the principals were puzzled.

This name was unfamiliar to him. They had never heard of it before.
