Chapter 63, Accelerated Growth Aura

At this point, even Qin Shanhai was confused. After clearing the monsters in the first level, why did he not immediately go to the second floor? Instead, he went to a corner of the first floor. What was the reason for this?

Meanwhile, on the first floor of the Sky Scaling Tower.

Lu Fan quickly arrived at an empty corner, and opened his System Panel.

Lu Fan was delighted. [it worked! I managed to claim another High Grade Treasure Map!]

Over the past few days, the System had been continuously giving Lu Fan Treasure Maps. Among them, one High Grade Treasure Map’s coordinate location was surprisingly the Nightmare difficulty of Sky Scaling Tower’s first floor (1587, 5726).

In other words, as long as Lu Fan chose the Nightmare test for the major exam, he could claim this High Grade Treasure Map after reaching the first floor!

When he first got this Treasure Map, Lu Fan felt deeply gratified.

He had originally planned to challenge the Nightmare difficulty, if the coordinates had shown the Easy difficulty Sky Scaling Tower, he would have had to ponder whether to open this High Grade Treasure Map or focus on his major exam score.

Now, he could kill two birds with one stone, directly going to the Nightmare difficulty to compete for the South Province’s top scorer, while also being able to claim the High Grade Treasure Map.

It was precisely because of the existence of this Treasure Map that after entering the Sky Scaling Tower, Lu Fan first used Dragon Fang Strike to one-shot all the Monsters here. He followed the Treasure Map’s instructions to arrive at the correct coordinates to claim the Treasure Map.

After successfully claiming it, Lu Fan waited excitedly for the System’s notification, wondering what treasures this High Grade Treasure Map would bring him this time?

[It’s actually a Skill Book? What a treasure!]

Although Lu Fan’s three Skills, which were all powerful, who would not want more Skills?

Lu Fan hurriedly opened his System Panel to check the description of this Skill Book.

Skill Book: Accelerated Growth Aura
Profession Requirement: Dragon Tamer

Effect: Learn the Passive Skill, Accelerated Growth Aura, upon use.

Accelerated Growth Aura (Passive): Can increase the Experience Points gained by Pet Dragon, accelerating the Pet Dragon’s Growth Rate.

[What a treasure!] Lu Fan was over the Moon. This Skill Book really came at such an opportune time.

As early as in Despair Village, Lu Fan had discovered that although Xiao Ye was powerful, her Levelling speed was terrifyingly slow. The whole Dragon was like a bottomless pit, making it extremely difficult to Level Up.

If it were not for killing the Light Abhorrer before, it would have been a problem for Xiao Ye to even reach Level 10.

If this trend continued, by the time Lu Fan reached Level 30 and underwent his Second Profession Change, Xiao Ye might not even reach Level 20.

Although the Dragon Race’s power could not be judged by Levels alone, and even at Level 20, Xiao Ye would most likely be able to easily defeat Third Profession Change Combat Specialised Professions, how could Lu Fan not hope for his Pet Dragon to become even stronger?

Moreover, as her level increased, Xiao Ye would continue to grow from her Growth Period. When she later reached her Maturing Period and Adulthood Period, her strength would definitely skyrocket!

Without any hesitation, Lu Fan directly chose to learn this Skill.

The Skill Book disappeared instantly, and in Lu Fan’s Character Attributes, Accelerated Growth Aura was now clearly listed.

Accelerated Growth Aura (Passive, LV1): Can increase Pet Dragon’s gained Experience Points by 100%, accelerating the Pet Dragon’s Growth Rate.
Seeing the actual details of the Skill, Lu Fan marvelled at how powerful the Dragon Tamer’s Skills were.

Although this Skill was a Passive, it was extremely powerful. At Level 1, it already allowed Xiao Ye to gain double the Experience. Moreover, it could be upgraded. That means the percentage increase in Experience Points gained by the Pet Dragon would get higher in the future.

With this Skill, Xiao Ye’s Level would not fall too far behind his own.

Lu Fan felt extremely pleased, thinking that this High Grade Treasure Map was truly a timely solution. It has solved the problem of Xiao Ye’s slow Levelling.

Although the Monsters in the Sky Scaling Tower were all Projections, they still provided Experience when killed.

[Wouldn’t this place be a natural training ground, comparable to Dungeon Instances?] Lu Fan decided that he couldn’t miss such a good opportunity to grind levels.

Pets in the Pet Sub-Space could also gain Experience Points. However, Accelerated Growth Aura was an Aura Type Skill. It required Xiao Ye to come out of the Pet Sub-Space to enjoy its effects.

Originally, Lu Fan had planned to fight some Monsters himself to hone his combat abilities.

Now, it seemed to be unnecessary. He might as well call Xiao Ye out and steamroll through everything. This way, Xiao Ye could enjoy the Accelerated Growth Aura effect, and the Experience provided by the Monster Projections in the Sky Scaling Tower would not be wasted.

Thus, Lu Fan stretched out his hand, and a Transport Array appeared out of thin air.

“Let’s go, Xiao Ye, follow me and sweep through all the Monsters here!”

“Ang!” Before Xiao Ye had even appeared, a Dragon Roar sounded from the Transport Array, shaking the entire Sky Scaling Tower.
