Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 64, That… That is a Dragon?!

Translator: Silavin

At the round table, when Lu Fan stretched out his hand to draw the Array, all principals felt their breathing cease. It was as if their blood was freezing in their veins.

What kind of creature could a Dragon Tamer summon as a Pet?! Even if Qin Shanhai hadn’t given them a heads up, they could have guessed a thing or two!

It was a Dragon! The mythical creature they never thought they could see in their lifetime!

All the principals were over fifty years old, but at this moment, they felt that their lives had not been lived in vain.

To be able to glimpse the majesty of a Giant Dragon in this lifetime, they would die content even now!

On the small screen, as the Array took shape, Xiao Ye’s enormous body slowly emerged from the Summoning Array.

Having just been summoned, Xiao Ye naturally appeared in her Battle Form. Thus, she displayed the supreme elegance of the Dragon Race to its fullest.

Xiao Ye’s body was covered in black scales. She looked like the most perfect work of art crafted by the world. Beneath the black scales, flashes of crimson light would go by each breath, seeming like a volcano ready to erupt. She was full of explosive beauty.

From Xiao Ye’s nostrils, fire light spilled out with each breath, complementing her piercing gaze. Even through the small screen, everyone felt immense pressure.

This Dragon was not particularly large, probably still just a Baby Dragon. Even so, she could exert such powerful pressure. What would it be like when she grew up?!

All the principals widened their eyes, doubting if they were dreaming.

*Thud!* Qian Xiong lost his composure. He suddenly stood up, his eyes fixed on the Black Dragon King on the small screen, not even noticing that he had knocked over the chair behind him.

“This… this is a Dragon!? Impossible!!! Is there really someone in this world who can have a Dragon as a Pet!?” Qian Xiong’s voice turned hoarse. He was trembling intensely. He was simply too shocked. If there were not this many people here, he would have slapped himself a few times to see if he was dreaming.

Among everyone, the calmest was Qin Shanhai, who had already seen Xiao Ye before.

Seeing Xiao Ye for the second time, Qin Shanhai was still excited, but not as flustered as the others. He smiled slightly, unable to suppress the slight tremor in his voice, as he proudly said. “That’s right, Lu Fan is a Dragon Tamer that has obtained a Dragon! He is the only Dragon Tamer in history to have a Dragon. He is the only one truly able to demonstrate the power of this Profession!”

*Siiii* The sound of sharp intakes of breath was unending.

This was a Dragon! The most powerful race in the world! To be able to enslave such a divine being, this student’s potential was simply immeasurable!

In fact, Lu Fan did not even need to take part in any major exam. His participation in the major exam was simply a dimensional strike.

For a moment, everyone felt their worldviews shattered into pieces.

At this point, Lu Fan had already led Xiao Ye onto the Transport Array leading to the next floor of the Sky Scaling Tower, beginning the second level.

Arriving at the second level, Lu Fan faced ten Level 6 Mini Bosses, Iron Crown Vines.

Originally, Iron Crown Vines were a type of tree covered in vines, just a relatively dangerous Level 6 Plant Type Monster.

The Nightmare difficulty had transformed this ordinary Monster directly into a Mini Boss, greatly boosting all its Attributes.

Its most prominent Attribute was defence. After all, its body of iron-like thorny vines could both attack and defend, and the tree itself was as hard as steel. Unless a Mage took action, physical Warrior Professions would find this type of Monster very troublesome to deal with.

However, in front of Lu Fan, the Iron Crown Vines’ proud defence was like a joke.

Ten Iron Crown Vines surrounded Lu Fan, but before they could even attack, Xiao Ye swung her tail at them.

Where her tail passed, all the Iron Crown Vines were directly split in half like dry twigs.

In less than five seconds, Xiao Ye had completely cleared the second floor, without Lu Fan needing to lift a finger.

Lu Fan was helpless. He turned to Xiao Ye and said, “Xiao Ye, aren’t you moving too fast? Next time, can’t you leave a couple for me to practise?”

“Ang!” Xiao Ye raised her head and called out, as if saying, ‘Alright then, next time I’ll hold back and leave you a couple of Monsters.’

Such a haughty Black Dragon made Lu Fan laugh and cry at the same time.

He directly stepped onto the Transport Array to the third floor, continuing his journey of steamrolling through.

Because it was the Nightmare difficulty, each Monster provided Lu Fan with very rich Experience Points and scores.

During the exam, Qin Shanhai and the others outside could see the current rankings of the exam hall at any time. Because Lu Fan had entered the major exam quite late, his ranking was very low, almost impossible to find.

However, when Lu Fan started to get serious and challenge the floors, his score rose as fast as a rocket!
