Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 651: Chapter 650 Mrs. Nicolas

”So what if it is? What if it isn’t?” Ye Haochuan huffed.

Wanting to teach this Steed a lesson, he immediately released his Innate Gang Qi.

Steed suddenly felt a formidable presence bearing down on him, causing his chest to constrict and his face to redden, struggling to catch his breath.

Only after a while did Ye Haochuan retract his Innate Gang Qi and coldly observed Steed.

Once Steed had caught his breath, his face brightened with joy: ”So it’s true that you are an Eastern Martial Artist, then there’s hope for my mother. I apologize, dear Ye, I was too brash just now, please forgive me.”

Only then did Ye Haochuan let out a sigh of relief, and though he intended to inquire about his background, Sophia’s mother’s condition was urgent, so he continued with the acupuncture...

Ten minutes later, Sophia’s mother’s cough had gradually ceased, and her complexion improved significantly; she was even able to move normally.

Sophia was overjoyed and threw herself into an embrace with her mother.

Steed too wore an excited expression.

”Dear Ye! Thank you. You saved my mother. If it hadn’t been for you, she would never have regained consciousness! Thank you for bringing her back to us!” Sophia suddenly turned around, her eyes brimming with tears, and said to Ye Haochuan emotionally.

Damn, even a beauty’s tears can tug at the heartstrings.

Seeing Sophia’s eyes filled with a spring-like allure, Ye Haochuan couldn’t help but lower his voice and tease with a playful smile, ”Hehe, dear Miss Sophia, does that mean you can fulfill your promise to kiss me now? Remember, it has to be on the lips, a butterfly kiss doesn’t count!”

”Hmm, let’s go outside,” Sophia winked at him, then left the sickroom.

Damn it!

Ye Haochuan hurriedly followed her out.

Just as they stepped outside the sickroom, Sophia wasted no time in wrapping her arms around his neck.

Just then.

”Ahem...”

Steed just happened to walk out of the sickroom, and upon seeing Ye Haochuan, he cried out excitedly, ”Oh my god, the great Ye, thank you for waking my mother! You are truly miraculous! I sincerely apologize for the slanders and curses I hurled at you previously.”

Ye Haochuan was no longer surprised by such reactions from patients’ families.

”Your mother has been paralyzed for a long time. She still needs to supplement her nutrition and get enough rest! Do not overwork her. With sufficient rest, she might even be well enough to climb Mount Everest!” Ye Haochuan smiled and said.

”Oh my god! The great Ye, you must be a messenger sent by God!” Steed praised him once again.

This guy’s flattery skills are pretty barefaced!

Ye Haochuan smiled and shook his head; after all, Westerners are known for their boldness, so there was nothing strange about it.

”By the way, the great Ye, I have a favor to ask of you, can you please help?” Steed suddenly asked, looking hopeful.

”Oh?” Ye Haochuan became curious, ”What do you need?”

Steed explained: ”It’s like this, great Ye! Please use your miraculous medical skills to treat another patient for me! I beg you, he’s a friend of mine, but for some reason, he fell ill with a strange disease a year ago...”

Know the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine now, don’t you? With me around, Traditional Chinese Medicine can surely go global!

Ye Haochuan thought shamelessly, then earnestly replied, ”Let’s do it now then! Let’s see what’s wrong with your friend!”

”The great Ye, you must be sent by God to save the whole world. You are the kindest, greatest doctor in the world!” Steed flattered Ye Haochuan.

...

In the luxury ward of Haishan City Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.

The hospital director and a group of Traditional Chinese Medicine experts stood inside the ward with serious expressions.

An unconscious foreigner lay quietly on the white hospital bed, unmoved and unheard of the noisy surroundings.

His original photo placed at the bedside showed a man once full of robust and sturdy muscles. But now, his muscles had withered away, leaving him dry and thin, almost like a stick of kindling on the bed!

A middle-aged woman, representing the patient, communicated with the director in somewhat fluent Chinese, her tone filled with anger!

The director, drenched in sweat, said: ”Mrs. Nicolas, I’m truly sorry, but without another MRI, it’s really hard for us to determine what’s wrong with Mr. Nicolas!”

However, the woman known as Mrs. Nicolas was actually a bona fide Huaxia person. Yet, preferring to flaunt her foreign connection, she always introduced herself as Mrs. Nicolas and hardly ever used her Huaxia name.

She glared fiercely at the director before saying: ”Director, do you know who my husband is? You still want him to have another MRI? Don’t you know how much radiation is in an MRI? Also, doesn’t your Huaxia Traditional Chinese Medicine prize diagnosis through observation, listening, and inquiry? Why would you need an MRI?”

Hearing this, the director was at a loss for words. Without a thorough MRI, how could they make a diagnosis? Traditional Chinese Medicine might value those techniques, but it had fallen behind in times, nothing compared to modern technology for accuracy.

Nicolas was a Russian and an official at the Haishan Consulate of Huaxia. Ever since falling ill mysteriously a year ago, he had been comatose, and even his muscles were continually wasting away, unresponsive even to nutrient injections.

Mrs. Nicolas even commissioned many Western doctors from abroad, but to no avail, and so she had lastly turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine in Huaxia, hoping for a cure. But even the Traditional Chinese Medicine experts invited by the Huaxia Government proved helpless.

How could she not be angry and disappointed with Traditional Chinese Medicine?

In fact, the hospital had already reached a consensus through consultations that Nicolas had a foreign body compressing a nerve in his brain, which was incredibly difficult to treat.

The director nodded profusely. He knew that if he couldn’t satisfy Mrs. Nicolas, his time as director was over.

The upper level had made it clear: if they couldn’t cure this consulate official, his position would be immediately stripped away.

But no matter how he explained, Mrs. Nicolas was no longer willing to trust them.

Just then, a voice came from the doorway: ”Madam, Mr. Edward is here.”
