Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 693: Chapter 692: Central Sea of Fire

Inoshita Shōgetsu also noticed Ye Haochuan and was taken aback.

She was well aware of the formidable power of her Blood Mist Escape Technique - even when facing a powerhouse of the Foundation Establishment Stage, she was confident she could escape. But why did it fail against Ye Haochuan?

Without time to think further, she hastily increased her speed even more.

Chiyo looked at Ye Haochuan, who was following, with an extremely complex expression.

On one hand, she wanted Ye Haochuan to rescue her, so she could avoid the inhumane punishment of the Hellfire. But she also knew that by leading people to strike at Ye Haochuan’s business, she had offended him, and she wondered how he would deal with her if he were to save her.

Inoshita Shōgetsu was severely injured after all, and simply couldn’t match Ye Haochuan’s speed. But soon, she discovered that ahead of her was a sea of fire.

In her panic, she had unwittingly arrived at the center of the Fire Elemental Realm - the Sub-Fire Dimension Realm’s central sea of fire.

This central sea of fire in the Sub-Fire Dimension Realm, which eternally burned with endless Heavenly Fire, was said to be fatal even to strong cultivators at the Foundation Establishment Stage.

Hmph, since I’m going to die anyway, I’ll take you with me!

With gritted teeth, Inoshita Shōgetsu flew towards the sea of fire.

Ye Haochuan, of course, noticed the sea of fire as well, but he was unaware of its origin and even more oblivious to the formidable power of the fire, and he fearlessly followed after her.

Seeing this, Inoshita Shōgetsu sneered coldly, let go of Chiyo, and told her to escape on her own. Then she boldly stared down Ye Haochuan, with a provocative look on her face.

Damn, close to death, and still so arrogant? Could it be a trick?

Ye Haochuan instantly became more vigilant and approached slowly.

But before he could get close, Inoshita Shōgetsu suddenly burst into laughter and swung out a long whip with her remaining left hand.

Ye Haochuan instinctively wanted to dodge, but the whip was eerily swift, slithering through the air like a serpent, and it changed direction, successfully binding Ye Haochuan.

What the hell, is this the Immortal Binding Rope? This Old Witch has way too many treasures!

Ye Haochuan sighed at his complacency and quickly urged his Ice Soul Sword to break free from the whip.

But before he could sever the whip, Inoshita Shōgetsu pulled on it, sending Ye Haochuan flying towards the sea of fire.

Ye Haochuan was greatly shocked; he quickly activated the Ice Soul Sword to cut the whip, but found that he was already very close to Inoshita Shōgetsu.

Seizing the opportunity, Ye Haochuan thrust the Ice Soul Sword into Inoshita Shōgetsu’s body, piercing her through in an instant.

Ye Haochuan was overjoyed, thinking he had finally eliminated the great threat Inoshita Shōgetsu posed.

But before he could relish his victory, he noticed Inoshita Shōgetsu suddenly give a cold smile.

Ye Haochuan immediately had a bad feeling; when he tried to pull away, he discovered Inoshita Shōgetsu abruptly wrapping her good arm around him in an embrace. Ye Haochuan urgently struggled but found that a powerful Gang Qi had infiltrated his body, attacking from all sides.

Ye Haochuan was alarmed and quickly used his own Gang Qi to resist. In a battle of body control, Ye Haochuan’s Gang Qi naturally gained the upper hand. However, with so much Gang Qi tied up, Ye Haochuan was unable to free himself from Inoshita Shōgetsu’s embrace.

Then, with a kick of her legs, Inoshita Shōgetsu, embracing Ye Haochuan, plunged into the sea of fire.

What the hell, she actually wants to die together with me, the Old Witch sure has a cunning plan!

Ye Haochuan broke into a cold sweat and struggled with all his might.

”Ya mai die~” Chiyo suddenly let out a shriek, rushing over to try to save Ye Haochuan.

She had signed a Blood Covenant with Ye Haochuan, and if Ye Haochuan died, she wouldn’t be able to survive either!

The technique that Inoshita Shōgetsu had used at the cost of his last bit of cultivation wasn’t so easily negated. Chiyo’s cultivation was ultimately too low; she had only managed to stall Inoshita Shōgetsu’s speed for a moment.

And a moment later, Inoshita Shōgetsu was already charging into the sea of fire with Ye Haochuan in his arms.

Chiyo bit her teeth and followed him into the fire sea. After all, if Ye Haochuan died, she wouldn’t survive either. If she could save Ye Haochuan, there was a chance that he might even let her go.

Upon entering the fire sea, Ye Haochuan immediately felt a massive force of attraction suddenly appearing, trying to drag him deeper into the midst of the fire sea.

Ye Haochuan was greatly alarmed. Now aware of the danger of the fire sea, he exploded with Gang Qi all over his body to protect himself swiftly, which barely shielded him from the impact of the fire sea.

At this point, Inoshita Shōgetsu was at his last breath.

Being in the middle of the fire sea, he had no more mechanisms to preserve his life, his entire body rapidly shriveling away.

”If I die, don’t you think of living either! Hahaha...” After throwing out his last spiteful words, Inoshita Shōgetsu could no longer hold on and was directly burned to ashes.

Despite his opponent’s death, Ye Haochuan was not the slightest bit joyful. He discovered that the fire within this fire sea was very different; it burned so fiercely that it rapidly evaporated his surrounding Gang Qi. He believed that in less than a quarter of an hour, he would end up like Inoshita Shōgetsu, reduced to ashes.

Ye Haochuan struggled against the intense gravitational force, trying to retreat from the fire sea. Having only taken two steps, he suddenly heard a scream, followed by a slender figure colliding into him.

Instinctively, Ye Haochuan wanted to dodge, but upon recognizing the person as Chiyo...

...he realized that Chiyo couldn’t withstand the pull of the force and was about to be sucked into the depths of the fire sea. Having gained a preliminary understanding of the ferocity of the fire sea, Ye Haochuan knew that if Chiyo were to be pulled in, she would certainly be on a path to certain death.

Though Chiyo was just a female slave, she was ultimately his woman, so of course he couldn’t stand idly by and watch her die.

In the face of crisis, Ye Haochuan caught Chiyo in his arms. However, with her added weight, his body was forced several steps back.

”Damn it, are you trying to get me killed on purpose?” Ye Haochuan couldn’t help but curse loudly.

The force pulling on the two of them was now twice as strong as when it was just one person. Before, Ye Haochuan was barely able to move outwards, but now with Chiyo added, he was doing well to even stay put without being pulled in.

What was this girl thinking, staying fine on the outside but coming in to join the trouble?

”I’m sorry, I... I just...” Chiyo said timidly.

At this point, Chiyo looked utterly disheartened, and the clothes on her body had long been burned clean. Her tender white skin also exhibited several burns.

Seeing the bare body in his arms, Ye Haochuan felt not the slightest masculine reaction. Instead, he knit his brows until they could almost wring out water.

This won’t do, if they didn’t figure out a solution quickly, this girl might not hold on much longer!

With his mind tense, Ye Haochuan hurriedly summoned the Strange Fire King Cauldron, enveloping both of them within its protection.

Now, the Strange Fire King Cauldron was already a Magic Artifact, and its defensive power had significantly upgraded.

However, there was a downside: the Strange Fire King Cauldron was huge, and upon being summoned, the pulling force surged wildly, causing Ye Haochuan to no longer be able to hold on, hurtling toward the center of the fire sea.

Moreover, even though the cauldron had good physical defense, it didn’t insulate against heat. In just a short period, the temperature inside the Strange Fire King Cauldron began to rise swiftly.

Ye Haochuan felt his heart sink into an abyss. Not to mention the dangers at the center of the fire sea, just continuing to be roasted by this intense fire would ultimately turn them into a whole roasted person!

Damn, he was truly done in by this woman!

With bitterness in his heart, Ye Haochuan couldn’t help but harshly slap Chiyo’s pert, smooth buttocks.
