Invincible Little School Doctor

Seeing Mrs. Nicolas’s attitude towards Ye Haochuan had greatly changed, Edward felt both jealous and annoyed.

He, a renowned neurologist from the West, world-renowned, when had he ever been suppressed by a mere practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Huaxia?

”All right.” After a brief glance at the patient, Ye Haochuan had already figured it out.

”What? That’s it?” Edward, who had been skeptical of him, suddenly challenged.

Everyone present turned their astonished gazes to Edward.

”Traditional Chinese Medicine emphasizes looking, smelling, asking, and feeling the pulse! You didn’t even take his pulse, yet you brazenly claim you can cure Mr. Nicolas? Absurd, I will file a formal protest with your Haishan Health Bureau!” Edward arrogantly stated.

Mrs. Nicolas began to waver due to Edward’s words, and she hesitated, ”Doesn’t Traditional Chinese Medicine always involve taking the pulse before diagnosing an illness?”

”Traditional Chinese Medicine varies greatly in skill! Your husband’s illness occurred suddenly a year and a half ago, at a time when he was feeling agitated and had smoked a lot of tobacco, and then fell into a sleep from which he hasn’t awoken. Right?” Ye Haochuan confidently analyzed the condition.

”My God! How did you know?” Mrs. Nicolas exclaimed in surprise.

”His condition is indeed due to the tobacco paralyzing the nerves alongside existing small blood clots in his brain, causing his persistent unconsciousness!” Ye Haochuan explained clearly.

Hearing that his explanation matched the situation, Mrs. Nicolas knew she had found the right person and pleaded, ”Dear Ye, please save my husband!”

”As long as you believe in me, your husband will wake up today!” Ye Haochuan arrogantly declared.

”Dear Ye, I believe in you, I entrust my husband to you!” Mrs. Nicolas decided resolutely.

”Madam, you are deceived by his glib talk, you can’t let him treat your husband! He is a fraud!” Edward objected.

”Other than obstructing, do you have any other solutions?” Mrs. Nicolas countered. ”Do you want my husband to remain in this comatose state forever?”

”I...” Edward was left speechless.

”In Huaxia, I have finally found a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor who can treat my husband! I believe in him!” Mrs. Nicolas declared firmly.

”You’ll regret it!” Edward shouted angrily.

”Dear Ye, with your miraculous Traditional Chinese Medicine skills, wake my husband up!” Mrs. Nicolas urged excitedly.

Ye Haochuan approached Mr. Nicolas, positioned his head properly, and applied Qi-Controlled Acupuncture.

Everyone around was shocked, especially Edward, who wore an incredulous expression. Qi-Controlled Acupuncture truly existed!

”Dear Ye, are you going to use acupuncture to treat my husband?” Mrs. Nicolas excitedly exclaimed!

”Yes, I’m going to insert needles into his brain to wake him up!” Ye Haochuan smiled and said.

”I have seen acupuncture in Russia too, but your skill is the highest!” Mrs. Nicolas praised.

Ye Haochuan instructed Edward, ”Go get me an alcohol lamp!”

Edward felt humiliated and didn’t move!

”What are you standing there for! Dear Ye is asking you to get an alcohol lamp!” Mrs. Nicolas ordered Edward!

”I refuse!” Edward arrogantly exclaimed!

”Then I will announce to the world that you take money and do nothing!” Mrs. Nicolas angrily declared!

Edward, inwardly distressed, thought to himself, it was just a moment ago that he was ordering the director around, and now it was his turn, but he was also afraid of Mrs. Nicolas making it public to the world, so reluctantly sent an assistant to fetch the alcohol lamp!

”Also, from now on, whatever dear Ye needs you to do, you must do it immediately!” Mrs. Nicolas repeated to Edward what she had previously said to Director Wang!

”Fine, fine, fine!” Edward relented reluctantly, his hatred for Ye Haochuan intensifying.

Soon, Edward meekly brought over the alcohol lamp.

Ye Haochuan commanded, ”Open it, ignite it! What are you standing there for?”

You fraud! If Mr. Nicolas doesn’t wake up, I’ll make sure you never recover!

Edward thought maliciously, but nevertheless, he followed Ye Haochuan’s instruction and lit the alcohol lamp!

Ye Haochuan used Qi-Controlled Acupuncture, enveloping the flame with Longevity Gang Qi, keeping the flame steady at the tip of the needle!

”Watch closely! Traditional Chinese Medicine is profound and vast, not comparable to Western medicine!” Ye Haochuan inserted the flaming needle into the patient’s head!

After a long while, the patient’s finger moved!

”He moved! He moved! My dear Ye, my husband moved!” Mrs. Nicolas exclaimed excitedly.

Ye Haochuan changed to another spot! He inserted the needle carrying the Flame!

With each needle he inserted, a part of Mr. Nicolas’s body moved!

After inserting eighteen needles, Ye Haochuan stopped!

”My dear Ye, why did you stop?” Mrs. Nicolas asked, puzzled.

Ye Haochuan smiled slightly! He gathered the Longevity Gang Qi into the palm of his hand with a boost from his Dantian, and gently slapped it onto the top of Mr. Nicolas’s head!

Instantly, the needles on Mr. Nicolas’s head flew off, sticking into the walls around!

Edward sarcastically said, ”You’ve endangered Mr. Nicolas’s life...”

”Ah! Water!” Mr. Nicolas uttered faintly.

”He’s awake, he’s awake!” Mrs. Nicolas cried excitedly.

Everyone around stared at Ye Haochuan, dumbfounded.

The Head of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was the first to speak, ”This is a miracle of Traditional Chinese Medicine!”

”The Junior Godly Doctor of Haishan truly lives up to his reputation!”

”The Junior Godly Doctor’s medical skills have reached the pinnacle!”

Edward was dumbstruck, too shocked to speak.

”My dear Ye... I can’t thank you enough. May I give my husband some water?” Mrs. Nicolas said excitedly.

Ye Haochuan smiled and nodded, ”You can now replenish his fluids! But since he has been unconscious for so long, he can only consume liquid food!”

”My dear Ye! Okay... okay... okay. I’ll listen to you,” Mrs. Nicolas said, holding back her joy.

With that, she hurried off to get water for her husband.

By then, Mr. Nicolas had already sat up by himself.

”Did you... save me?” Mr. Nicolas asked Ye Haochuan.

”I saved you using Traditional Chinese Medicine,” Ye Haochuan replied with a smile: ”Now you can try to get up and move around!”

”How can this be?” exclaimed a doctor from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.

Mr. Nicolas had been in a coma for a year and a half, his body like dry firewood, how could he possibly move?

”Okay,” Mr. Nicolas said, trying to stand up and slowly moving forward.

One step, two steps... Mr. Nicolas walked as if he had never been in a coma!

”My dear Ye, I don’t know how to express my gratitude?” Nicolas said to Ye Haochuan.

Ye Haochuan turned to Edward and lectured, ”Don’t be so proud of your medical knowledge when there’s still so much to learn. Traditional Chinese Medicine is profound and vast, do you still dare to call it pseudoscience now?”

Edward shamefully said, ”No.”

”Louder! I didn’t hear it, is Traditional Chinese Medicine pseudoscience?” Ye Haochuan demanded sternly.

”No! No! No!” Edward answered, his face ashen.

”Now you can scram!” Ye Haochuan told Edward.

Edward walked away with a downcast face, looking as beaten as a deadbeat dog.

Mr. and Mrs. Nicolas said to Ye Haochuan, ”My dear Ye, we will definitely repay you. If you need anything, please tell us and we will do everything we can!”

Ye Haochuan said, ”Saving people is not for rewards! After you go back to your country, promote Traditional Chinese Medicine more, so that more people understand it!”

”My dear Ye, you are really great!” Mr. and Mrs. Nicolas exclaimed.

Afterwards, Ye Haochuan bid farewell to Mr. and Mrs. Nicolas and declined the retention efforts of the Head of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and the experts, he got into Steed’s car and returned to Haishan University Affiliated Hospital.

No sooner had he returned to his office than he saw Sophia burst in enthusiastically, kissed him on the cheek and said, ”Oh, my dear Ye, you’re amazing; my brother already told me about how you saved Mr. Nicolas...”

Feeling the tender softness of her kiss, Ye Haochuan’s heart fluttered, and he chuckled, ”It was a trivial matter, really, but I have even better skills than my medical ones... specifically in bed. Care to try?”
