Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 650: Chapter 649 Steed

”Dear brother, could you please show some respect to this doctor?” Sophia frowned and then turned apologetically to Ye Haochuan, ”Dear Ye, I am truly sorry for my brother’s rudeness, and I offer you my sincere apologies.”

This foreign girl, unexpectedly quite reasonable!

Ye Haochuan’s expression eased slightly.

”Sophia, how did I disrespect him? You want Traditional Chinese Medicine for our mother’s treatment, I have no objections, but shouldn’t we at least find an experienced one? This pretty boy, even if he had studied Traditional Chinese Medicine from the womb, he couldn’t possibly cure our mother’s illness!” Sophia’s brother looked scornfully at Ye Haochuan.

Damn, you foreigner, what do you know about our profound Traditional Chinese Medicine, acting as if you’re well-versed?

Feeling despised by the freakishly large white man, Ye Haochuan, who had just picked up a pen, angrily threw it onto the table and exclaimed, ”What did you say?”

Seeing his angry expression, Sophia immediately got a bit flustered, rushed over, held his cheek, and gave him a kiss, saying softly, ”Oh dear Ye, please don’t be mad. My brother was indeed going too far. Please don’t mind him, okay?”

Feeling her lips continuously kissing his cheek, Ye Haochuan couldn’t help but be swept up in the sensation, and the anger in his heart gradually subsided under her earnest appeasement.

”Alright, for the beautiful Miss Sophia’s sake, I won’t hold it against your brother, hehe.”

Ye Haochuan chuckled.

Sophia comes from an open Western country and doesn’t place much importance on matters between men and women, yet she usually mixes with polite gentlemen. When has she ever encountered someone as flippant as Ye Haochuan?

Thus, by giving him a slight thinness, Sophia couldn’t help blushing a bit.

”Damn Huaxia people, had enough of looking?” snapped Sophia’s brother with a displeased face.

Screw it, why the hell should I care about your sister?

Ye Haochuan gave him a glance and chuckling said, ”I say, dear white gentleman, may I ask for your prestigious name?”

”My English name is Steed,” Sophia’s brother said haughtily.

”Steed? Like too much manure?”

Ye Haochuan almost burst out laughing; damn, this name is truly a first class original—foreigners’ names are indeed bizarre!

”Yes, my English name is Steed. What, is there a problem?” Steed, noticing Ye Haochuan’s disdainful smile, was somewhat puzzled.

Ye Haochuan nodded emphatically, thumbs up, and laughed, ”Great name, great name indeed!”

Steed immediately swelled with pride and snorted, ”Hmm, I also have a Chinese name, Liu Hongtao. Many of my Huaxia friends say this name is very meaningful...”

He said, looking even prouder.

Damn, this name is even more bizarre. Liu Hongtao, by Western naming habits, wouldn’t that be Hongtao Liu?

Hongtao Liu, like Red Heart Six, huh? Of course, it’s meaningful! Damn, I might as well be Diamond Seven!

Ye Haochuan found it increasingly amusing and said, ”I say, Mr. Red Heart Six, our Western medicine in Huaxia has been inherited for thousands of years, profound and vast. You may look down on me, but you shouldn’t belittle our Traditional Chinese Medicine. I’d like to ask, the Western medicine your mother has been seeing, what help has it been to her condition?”

”This...” Steed was at a loss for words.

Sophia, seeing her brother on the losing end, hastily tried to smooth things over by saying, ”It’s okay, brother, let’s not argue anymore. Despite this doctor’s young age, his medical skills are highly reputed. Our mother is seriously ill, we can’t just give up on any bit of hope, right?”

Steed was clearly touched by her words, and although he still harbored doubts about Ye Haochuan, he nodded in agreement nonetheless.

Subsequently, led by Sophia and her brother Steed, Ye Haochuan arrived at the sickroom to see Sophia’s mother, who was still in a coma.

Sophia’s mother, a spitting image of Sophia as if carved from the same mold, presented a different art altogether — Sophia was lighthearted and carefree, whereas her mother possessed a mature, restrained beauty.

At that moment, she lay on the hospital bed, her face deathly pale and her body extremely weak.

Ye Haochuan quickly walked up to the bedside, activated his ”Perspective” ability for a quick glance, and immediately got the picture.

After the examination, Ye Haochuan said solemnly to Sophia, ”Dear Miss Sophia, your mother is suffering from spinal paralysis, which is why she is paralyzed in bed. Her condition is quite severe at the moment, and should we miss the optimal treatment window, she may become completely paralyzed.”

”Ah!” Sophia panicked, could not help but step forward to grab his arm, pleading, ”Dear Ye, please, you must save my mother, please...”

In her distress, she pressed her voluptuous bosom against his arm without realizing it, much to Ye Haochuan’s advantage as he unabashedly took advantage of the contact.

”Don’t worry, as long as I’m here, your mother will be fine. However, if I cure your mother, don’t forget to properly thank me,” Ye Haochuan said with a suggestive smile, while lightly flicking her beautiful little chin.

”Yes, I will definitely thank you properly, sir,” Sophia said innocently.

Steed, however, could not stand it any longer. This despicable Huaxia doctor was blackmailing his sister, which was utterly intolerable!

Sensing his unpleasant demeanor, Ye Haochuan immediately turned Sophia’s mother over, lifted her clothes at the back, and started acupuncture.

Spinal paralysis is actually a weakening of the spinal nerves. As the nerve center, any issues here inevitably result in paralysis.

His task now was to use acupuncture techniques combined with his Longevity Gang Qi to revive the spinal nerves of Sophia’s mother, breathing new vitality into them.

Thus, in a short while, Sophia’s mother’s entire back was covered in silver needles, a sight both startling and unsettling for Sophia and Steed.

”Cough cough...” Suddenly, Sophia’s mother began to cough violently.

”Mommy...” Sophia cried out in shock.

Steed, however, furiously advanced towards Ye Haochuan, shouting, ”You damn Huaxia person, what did you do to my mother? Stop immediately or I’ll kill you!”

Damn it, I’m administering acupuncture here, what the hell are you yelling about?

Ye Haochuan, with an incredulous face, snapped, ”Keep quiet, will you? This is a normal sign. If you disturb me from continuing the acupuncture and thus delay your mother’s condition, don’t blame me!”

”Bullshit, you almost killed my mother and you still dare to continue?” Steed’s anger rose as he spoke, grabbing Ye Haochuan’s collar, poised to punch him.

Ye Haochuan was also angered; he was not someone to be trifled with. He immediately released his Longevity Gang Qi, engulfing the area with a formidable presence, jolting Steed and sending him staggering back.

”Eh, you’re an Eastern Martial Artist?” Steed suddenly exclaimed in surprise.

These words, however, resonated differently in Ye Haochuan’s ears. This Steed was not simple, being able to discern that he was from the Martial Arts Path. Who was he, and what was his real identity?
