Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

149: Chapter 28 What is the origin of the Giant Mosquito?【2/3】_1 149: Chapter 28 What is the origin of the Giant Mosquito?【2/3】_1 (Second update!)

The woman has a typical-looking face, but there’s a certain aura about her that inherently invites goodwill.

The two college students, who had been recently transferred to the police’s custody from the military, had no time to contemplate life before this woman took them away!

“I know what you’ve been through.

Have you always been curious about that Giant Mosquito and want to capture its true form?”

As they sat in the vehicle driven by the lady, they exchanged these words with her.

Another person was driving the car, and a tall man was also in the vehicle, but he didn’t appear to be from the military or police.

Zhang Shiming and Ye Tongyu’s antics, their videos of the military’s battles with the Giant Mosquito, had all been posted online.

To this day, some people were still spreading these banned videos and posts privately!

The fact that these two kids exposed the military’s operations at the factory was a bit too much.

As a result, they had been detained by the military and police for so long.

It was this woman’s mediation today that secured their release.

This issue could be interpreted differently depending on the perspective.

If it weren’t for this lady’s intervention, they might have been sentenced to several years in prison.

Of course, she didn’t mention any of this, hoping the students would figure it out for themselves.

“Yes, we were once saved by the Giant Mosquito, so we want to show his true form to the public!”

After glancing at each other, the male and female college students spoke almost simultaneously.

What started as their playful curiosity had now escalated to the point of becoming an obsession, haunting their hearts!

“You mentioned in your posts that the Giant Mosquito could be the same one that saved you!”

“But you initially described the Giant Mosquito that saved you as being only a few centimeters in length, with a wingspan of less than thirty centimeters.

Yet your later posts claimed the Giant Mosquito found in the video was nearly twenty centimeters long with a half-meter wingspan.

Given such a discrepancy, why do you still believe it’s the same one?”

The woman asked with a smile.

This question was precisely why the woman helped the two college students and took them away from the police.

Their posts presented a unique perspective.

“We’re not making things up!” As the editor and publisher of the post, Ye Tongyu took a deep breath and explained to the woman with a slight smile.

Although she didn’t know why they were suddenly released, her intuition told her that this middle-aged woman in front of her might have had something to do with it.

She needed to give a thorough explanation.

“The first time this mosquito saved us, we got a good look at it twice.

We could tell that it was a male Anopheles.” Ye Tongyu said.

The woman opened her laptop and clicked on an image.

It was a photo of a male Anopheles mosquito, though it was just a standard-sized one.

She swiveled the screen towards Ye Tongyu, who nodded after seeing the image.

The woman then turned the laptop back towards herself.

“Then, this mosquito got bigger.

We saw it on TV, and when we saw the widely circulated image, we guessed that the mosquito was the one that had saved us!”

“Although its appearance had changed and many people could no longer recognize it as a male Anopheles mosquito, we had seen it when it was just a few centimeters!

By comparing, we can discern a change in trend between the two periods, indicating a connection!”

Ye Tongyu was right!

Most people would not be able to recognize any unique features of the Anopheles mosquito on Jia Yan when he was twenty centimeters tall, unless it was pointed out.

However, those who had seen him when he was only a few centimeters could discern some semblance of his previous appearance in his twenty-centimeter phase, vaguely recognizing the parts that had changed!

It was this subtle change that allowed these two students to boldly guess that the twenty-centimeter Giant Mosquito was the same one that had saved them!

The middle-aged woman clicked on another image on her screen, revealing the widely circulated photo of the Giant Mosquito rescuing a little girl, which had caused a frenzy on the Huaxia internet and TV media.

She turned the screen towards the students and asked, “Can you tell where he has changed?”

“We can.” Ye Tongyu and Zhang Shiming glanced at one another and said, “Firstly, his body has grown a lot larger, which goes without saying.

Also, his legs have become thicker in proportion.

His abdomen has become harder, and his outer shell appears to have distorted a bit.

However, we can still see traces of his previous existence from when he was just a few centimeters.”

“Also, his mouthparts seem to have changed a bit compared to when we first saw him.

And the gelatinous substance on the surface of his body.

He seemed to have it when he was a few centimeters, but not as much.” Zhang Shiming added from the side.

As someone who became ‘comrades’ with Jia Yan, he had a better understanding of the Giant Mosquito when it was just a few centimeters tall!

Moreover, as a biology major, his descriptions were naturally more professional.

The two college students pointed out each change on the image of the Giant Mosquito.

“Hehe, very good.

Now have a look at this one, could it also be him…”

When the woman with the laptop clicked onto another image…

“Ah!

How is that possible!”

“This is…!”

Indeed, these two college students, cut off from the outside world during their detention, had absolutely no idea about the commotion and uproar the Big Mosquito caused in the Wa Kingdom across the ocean!

What the woman clicked on was a high-resolution image captured by the camera on the helicopter Jia Yan was flying near to interview!

In this moment, they felt as if they had experienced the sensation of ‘a day in the mountains, a year outside’.

It seemed like it was the Big Mosquito, but its appearance had changed quite a bit.

How large could it be to be perfectly captured by the camera!

It even looked like it had blood splattered all over its body.

The two were immediately clueless about what had happened, looking completely bewildered.

Not just these two, even those who had been paying attention to Jia Yan’s Big Mosquito before, were a bit at a loss.

The netizens of Huaxia and Wa Kingdom had already begun arguing.

Netizens from Huaxia claimed that the Big Mosquito was originally from Huaxia!

The netizens from the Wa Kingdom countered, saying that what Huaxia discovered was just a Little Mosquito.

On their side, they have an over a meter-long Super Mosquito that isn’t even scared of bullets, accusing Huaxia of trying to steal their discovery!

Huaxia’s netizens were almost on the brink of tears, expressing that they aren’t like Ober country that would even claim the sun and charge everyone in the world for using it!

They only pointed out that the Big Mosquito in the Wa Kingdom looked remarkably similar to the one that appeared in Huaxia before.

Had they not seen the photos of the one in Huaxia?

Other than being slightly larger and having a minor difference in appearance, their mosquito was basically an enlarged version!

Wa Kingdom didn’t care about all that, they announced this monster to the world first regardless.

The atmosphere was indeed strange.

Originally, netizens didn’t intend to argue over this ‘discovery right’.

However, some netizens from Huaxia felt that the Big Mosquito reported by the Wa Kingdom was very similar to the one that had appeared in Huaxia before, so when they started discussing it on Wa Kingdom’s websites, a war of words began!

Compared to ordinary people, the top personnel of countries around the world were paying close attention to these recurring monsters!

Teams composed of various experts flocked to the borders of Huaxia, where they began to continuously watch and investigate the whereabouts of the three huge ‘monsters’, which had seemingly disappeared!

In the Wa Kingdom, several teams from around the world also arrived on the third day after the occurrence of the ‘Man-killing Giant Mosquito’ and started researching the cause of its appearance and speculating about its future developments!

However, at this moment, some news from Taiwan drew wide attention!

Along with this news, a batch of images shot from the viewpoint of a fighter jet were released!

The Giant Mosquito really came from Huaxia, and was even capable of flying across the sea to the Wa Kingdom’s territory!

It was not just a gigantic mosquito immune to weapons; it was also an incredible monster capable of flying across the ocean!

Moreover…

It even engaged in close-quarters combat with an F16A type fighter jet produced by the Stars and Stripes Country, and damaged the jet!

More analysis reports about the Giant Mosquito’s combat power were published by various institutions and even circulated online!

Aside from fending off the fighter jet, it also managed to damage an armored vehicle!

World-renowned sniper rifle, the SOP long-range sniper rifle, which can even explode a concrete pillar with a single shot, couldn’t harm it in the least!

This was not a Giant Mosquito!

Should we call it a War Mosquito, then!

People who saw the related data were all taken aback.

Compared to its defensive power and combat capabilities, the eerie gigantic body of the Mosquito wasn’t that important anymore!

As for its combative capabilities, lions and tigers would be outclassed by miles.

Or rather, it might be hard to find any creature on Earth as tough as it!

Of course, except for those three monsters also discovered in Huaxia!

The appearance of these monsters almost at the same time represented what?

When things don’t feel right, they’re usually not!

Could it be that there’s really something big about to happen on Earth…

The mood among people was heavy.

In contrast, the two assassins who somehow managed to escape were aimlessly drifting on a medium-sized boat!

At the same time, they were incredulously reading the news online.
