Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

133: Chapter 12 Damn it!

[Seeking Subscription] _1 133: Chapter 12 Damn it!

[Seeking Subscription] _1 From high above in the azure sky, a decidedly unbalanced battle was unfolding over the vast, endless sea.

This was a duel between a mosquito with a meter-long body and two-meter wingspan, and a fighter jet reaching fifteen meters in length with a wingspan of 9.5 meters!

Although this gargantuan mosquito, boasting a body a meter long, was unheard of among mosquitoes, when compared with a fighter jet, the difference in size was clearly stark!

Nevertheless, that giant mosquito was charging headlong towards the F16 fighter jet, an opponent many times its size!

The violent wind roared in their faces.

The hurricane caused by the speeding fighter jet almost swept Jia Yan’s mosquito body away!

Hum, Hum, Hum!!!

Jia Yan himself was wildly flapping his wings, using his maximum speed to launch himself upwards to a height of over ten meters, rushing head-on towards the side of the fighter jet!

The two collided!

“Damn you!”

Jia Yan roared furiously in his mind!

His mutated muscles, like incredibly robust twisting ropes, tightened fiercely at that moment!

This tightening caused his right foreleg, which shot out like an arrow from a bow, to strike the fighter jet close at hand!

The foreleg, endowed with a sharp knife-like cuticle, shot out!

The sharp blade-like cuticle on the tip sliced through the air with a speed that human eyes couldn’t discern!

Clink!

Almost the moment after Jia Yan’s long leg had stabbed out, the sharp edge of the blade-like cuticle harshly stabbed into the sturdy body of the F16 fighter jet!

Squeak, Squeak, Squeak, Squeak!!!!

Sparks flew like wildfire!

The enormous power contained in Jia Yan’s foreleg was so terrifying that even he dared not guess its extent!

But the armour of the opponent was intended for military use!

He didn’t believe his cuticle knife could penetrate the plane’s armour, but scaring the enemy was still achievable!

But to Jia Yan’s disbelief, when he put in all his strength and stabbed out, the tip of the blade-like cuticle, at the moment of penetrating the jet’s body, felt a sensation as though it had pierced some hard object!

He had actually penetrated the armor of the fighter jet, armor that could withstand ordinary bullets!

Sparks spurted in succession.

The blade-like cuticle that had penetrated Jia Yan’s body harshly clung to the jet’s body, and due to inertia, the opening in the body of the jet instantly expanded to a length of fifty centimeters.

The knife-like cuticle stuck to the jet’s armor, cutting along the way!

And Jia Yan’s body was violently carried by inertia, becoming almost uncontrollable!

When his foreleg stuck into the body of the jet, he merely intended to make a sound, then anticipated that he would be catapulted by the sturdy armour of the jet!

But to his surprise, the body of the jet couldn’t withstand his single foreleg!

The body was violently thrown back by inertia!

The foreleg that penetrated the jet’s body almost broke off, Jia Yan could even hear the exoskeleton twisting.

Fortunately, the coagulate layer on the outer surface of the exoskeleton played a significant role in absorbing and buffering the forces, directly protecting the underlying exoskeleton and muscle tissue!

To Jia Yan, coagulate functioned as the key to mutation.

He had learned before that after several mutations, each time it was the precursor to coagulate, also known as the condensation fluid, which helped him absorb external materials and fill his body, so he could gain mass.

After the condensation fluid completed its mission, it would turn into coagulate; soft yet incredibly resilient.

Once, these coagulates had helped Jia Yan deflect bullets.

This time, they absorbed the shock, dissipating the force of the impact!

Jia Yan didn’t have the luxury to spare a thought to praise coagulates!

At these life-and-death moments, one’s entire attention is unerringly concentrated.

He found that his right foreleg’s exoskeleton had actually pierced the F16 fighter jet’s outer armor, which commonly remained unbreached by bullets, and suddenly, his compound eyes had brightened!

This blade-like cuticle exceeded his expectations!

Boom!

Jia Yan raised his other left foreleg and harshly thrusted it into the jet’s exoskeleton!

Clink!!

As there was no aid from inertia from the prior rush, even though Jia Yan used all his strength, this left foreleg’s blade-like cuticle could still only stab in barely more than three centimeters.

This already demonstrated the incredible power of Jia Yan!

We have to remember that even regular bullets could do nothing to the jet’s armour.

At this time, inside the cockpit of the fighter jet, the pilot’s face had already turned ashen!

In a voice filled with disbelief and terror, he reported back to the command center, “I am under attack by the Mosquito!

It can actually damage the fighter’s exoskeletal armor, and now it’s clinging to the underside of the aircraft.

Please, issue the next action plan.

It is continuously attacking the plane’s armor.

I need orders now!”

The sound of the Big Mosquito repeatedly stabbing the aircraft’s armor with its left front leg send chills down the spine of the pilot – it was as if a tolling bell was spelling out his doom, making his face turn the color of a pig’s liver!

In reality, the pilot was overthinking.

Jia Yan outside the plane was using his own strength to continuously collide with the aircraft’s armor, not enough to dismantle the entire aircraft.

Each attack would only leave shallow indentations.

In an attempt to enlarge this dent, Jia Yan resorted to using his left front leg, its edges as sharp as a knife, to stab on relentlessly!

Of course, if the enemy allowed Jia Yan to keep stabbing, perhaps in ten minutes, Jia Yan might be able to dig a large hole, damaging the aircraft’s intricate design.

But did Jia Yan have ten minutes?

Of course not!

If the enemy were to return to the air base, it would only take a few minutes.

Jia Yan clearly did not have this luxury.

Besides, even if the return to the base wasn’t an option, the pilot could still find a way to shake Jia Yan off!

Just as Jia Yan was about to continue his attack, the fighter jet suddenly came up with a plan!

It abruptly made a sweeping turn in the high altitude!

You must know, the sudden overload in changing the aircraft’s direction could result in several G’s!

Sometimes even experienced pilots could pass out from the intense overload!

However, this harsh turn did not reach the pilot’s maximum toleration of overload.

But for Jia Yan clinging onto the plane with just one leg stabbed into the plane’s interior, it was quite a different story!

Jia Yan’s figure was flung far away, the inertia practically shook him off the F16 fighter jet!

“Like it’s that easy!” Jia Yan’s compound eyes blazed with intensity!

With a swift hook of his right front leg!

He gripped onto the torn crevice once more!

Then he returned his body onto the aircraft, aiming his left front leg at the slightly punctured hole, and stabbed down with all his might!

Clang!

Facing the source of the sound, the fighter pilot turned deathly pale as he realized that despite his erratic maneuvers the Mosquito was somehow still clinging to him!

“Again!”

The pilot controlled the aircraft, continuously changing its direction in the air!

Whoosh!

The fighter jet, nearly at supersonic speed, quickly covered a vast distance.

It was following the coastline at high speed, exactly along Jia Yan’s preplanned route.

But this speed was much faster than Jia Yan himself would have flown!

If it weren’t so perilous, Jia Yan might have actually considered using it as his mount!

Quick!

Now that was real flying!

Just as Jia Yan had a moment to experience the thrill of flying nearly at the speed of sound, the F16 fighter jet made a sudden violent turn in mid-flight!

This time, there was no way he could hold on!

When the aircraft sped up, Jia Yan was struggling to stay put on the aircraft.

After all, when the aircraft suddenly accelerated, he could only rely on one of his front right legs latched onto the armor crevice of the aircraft to stabilize himself.

It was already terribly strenuous, and now a swift change of direction was added to the mix!

Jia Yan’s right front leg, hooked onto a gap in the aircraft armor, reluctantly let go, and his entire figure was catapulted into the distance!

Thump!

Jia Yan’s figure flew far away, while the F16 fighter jet quickly moved into the distance.

“Let’s see if you dare to come back!”

As Jia Yan kept his compound eyes on the retreating figure of the fighter and vibrated his dual-wing, he was up in the air.

The two engaged in high-speed aerial combat for at least five minutes.

In those five minutes, they had covered a distance that took Jia Yan half an hour to fly on his own!

It was also heading in the northwest direction, not straying from Jia Yan’s preplanned route, even speeding up his journey.

Jia Yan, while controlling his figure to drop lower, used his compound eyes to observe the swiftly receding F16 fighter.

The slightly-damaged F16 fighter aircraft, after making a turn in the distance didn’t dare to turn back and attack and instead took a far detour from Jia Yan’s position and headed for the distant Daidao Island.

“Not daring to come back?

I should seize this opportunity and flee quickly!

More must be on their way!”

Jia Yan lowered to nearly parallel with the sea, maintaining a height just around three meters from the water’s surface, unfolded his fastest flying speed, and headed further away in a rush!

He knew the only reason the aircraft retreated was that he had damaged it slightly.

The pilot was afraid that continuing to fight may cause an accident.

There might be other fighter jets taking off right now, heading in his direction for backup!
