The setting sun leaned down, transforming the previously scorching autumn sun back into a slightly chilly curtain day.

The southeast region of the Wa Kingdom, where the temperature is not much warmer than Northern China at this time, gives a coolness that suggests autumn has passed.

Large numbers of police officers are being deployed.

Some civilians who are in the dark about the situation see many police cars reinforcing the vicinity of the bay and can’t help but point and whisper.

When they see several armored vehicles marked with the Self-Defense Force emblem also rushing towards the bay, they are immediately left dumbfounded and lose their words.

In the relatively peaceful Wa Kingdom, in the Gongqi city where even a dog biting a person can make the newspaper headlines, there hasn’t been such a large assembly for a long time!

What on earth has happened?

It seemed that sounds similar to firecrackers had been heard coming from the bay, could it be gunshots?!

Suddenly, some inquisitive civilians wanted to step forward to find out what was going on, but only saw some Wa Kingdom police officers setting up roadblocks on the main roads, blocking off the paths!

Something big must have happened!

Some Wa Kingdom civilians stood on the blocked road, continuously peering inside, hoping to catch a glimpse of what had actually happened on the vast coastline!

But this blockade lasted a long time and showed no sign of being lifted.

Some drivers who truly wanted to pass through this road couldn’t help but curse quietly.

Bang Bang Bang Bang!

Da da da da da!

In the space where the blockade has started, a fierce gun battle is truly taking place, something the average Wa Kingdom civilians couldn’t possibly guess.

The scene was incredibly chaotic!

More than a hundred Wa Kingdom police officers, backed by several vehicles with around fifty Self-Defense Force soldiers, were fighting with seven or eight masked men dressed as bandits!

However, the Wa Kingdom police officers and Self-Defense Force vehicles, despite having superior numbers, failed to defeat the seven or eight masked men.

Instead, they were suppressed by the masked men’s very sophisticated tactics and firearms skills.

They dared not lower their heads.

There were five or six police officers and Self-Defense Force members’ corpses lying on the ground, while no casualties had appeared on the masked men’s side!

“Bagyaruro!

Just who are these people?

They definitely aren’t ordinary bandits.

Hasn’t headquarters investigated their identities yet?

Could they be illegal immigrants?” The person responsible for the scene, Police Chief Endo, was the highest-ranking officer on the police side.

He was currently continuously communicating with the communications equipment.

Looking at his dead and injured colleagues, his face had turned pale!

Damn it, regardless of whether they can arrest the two groups of bandits in front today, but with this many police officers dead or injured, his position as police chief is at stake!

If the higher-ups want him to be responsible, he might even have to go to jail!

This made Police Chief Endo very annoyed.

One after another, the police officers watched as so many of their colleagues were injured or died.

They all hid behind police cars and didn’t dare to show their heads.

On the Self-Defence Force’s side, an armored vehicle that wanted to take advantage of its tough armor to charge forward.

But it had not driven far when there was a ‘boom’!

The whole armored vehicle was flipped over by a shell, thick smoke rolled, and personnel in the vehicle were scared and fled.

After not too long, the armored vehicle burst into flames!

Bang!!

The vehicle exploded!

“What…

this is a rocket launcher!

Just what kind of people are we up against?

Even having such equipment, they definitely aren’t ordinary robbers!”

Police Chief Endo looked even more unpleasant after seeing this scene.

Even the Self-Defence Force’s armored vehicle got flipped over.

It seems today’s matter really won’t end well!

Let’s not talk about the Japanese Government’s predicament, speaking of the eight robbers who were engaged in a battle with the Wa Kingdom, their expressions were also not good.

“We can’t go on like this, the ammunition is depleting too quickly.

Have they found the whereabouts of the two guys yet?”

On the side blocking the government team were five tall men.

Some had blonde hair and blue eyes, some had black skin, in any case, one look and you know they are not Asians.

They all had their faces covered with masks that only showed the eyes, looking like true bandits!

This team of eight people used to be the best hands in the mercenary corps of F country.

They were all veterans who had participated in actual combat.

Some had even won medals, so their tactical quality was naturally incomparable to the frightful Wa Kingdom police and inexperienced Self-Defense Force.

The five of them were holding back the Wa Kingdom government forces, while the other three had infiltrated the not too distant beach along the coastline, pursuing the escaping assassins!

Among the eight former mercenaries, the others did not know why their captain had had a disagreement with the two assassins.

In any case, for the sake of those | drugs, they naturally obliged, and they also longed for the battlefields filled with gunpowder.

They were all liking this feeling!

People who have been on the battlefield are like this.

Having experienced the thrilling excitement between life and death, and then returning to a prosperous but passionless society, without professional skills and no competitive ability in personal interactions compared to ordinary people, their ends were all very miserable.

Thus, these people were very excited to be able to return to the battlefield!

So even if those drugs were not as formidable, they were still tightly bound by them.

Although the five of them were running out of ammunition quickly, they still temporarily held back the Wa Kingdom forces.

The other three former mercenaries were slowly searching along the coastline.

The southeast beaches of Gongqi City were mostly rocky, making it difficult to traverse.

There were also too many places where people could hide.

The three of them had difficulty searching for the two assassins!

Not far from the beach where the three men were continuously searching, two men were sitting back to back beneath a small tree.

The gradually setting sun became a good omen in their view.

Once it got dark, they would have more ways to escape!

Assassins are naturally the strong ones who move in the darkness.

If they were to compete frontally with the mercenaries who are good at charging and breaking through lines, they would definitely be inferior in direct combat.

“It’s been ten hours and seniors still haven’t come.” Bearded glanced at the watch on his wrist and shook his head helplessly.

“Didn’t the senior say before, that if he found it was a lost cause, he wouldn’t show up?

Look at the situation outside, the police and self-defense forces have almost filled the road.

How could he possibly appear!”

The bespectacled young man shook his head helplessly, then said, “Our ammunition is almost gone, but when the sun goes down it should be a great help for us to escape.

When that time comes, I’ll go out first to distract them, and you, following the coastline to the fishing port of the village below, steal a fishing boat and sail to the next harbor, I believe there should be a chance to escape.”

“What about you, if I run?

I should rather distract them, and you could escape!” Bearded looked at the bespectacled young man.

The two had been working together for many years and knew each other very well.

He knew that the bespectacled young man was thinking of sacrificing himself to let Bearded escape this time.

“You distract attention?

If it were normal, I’d wish for it, but with your leg in this state, how long could you distract?

Don’t tell me that before I’ve even escaped a few steps, you get knocked off by them, and I still end up getting chased!

Enough said, let’s act like this in three minutes!

I distract attention, you escape, it’s not that easy for them to kill me in the darkness!”

Both of them lost hope in the so-called ‘Senior’s’ appearance!

It’s always better to rely on oneself, especially in a matter of life and death.

Waiting for others to rescue you is a bit naive.

Hmmm hmm hmm…

While the two were discussing, a faint sound came from the distant sky, but the faint sound quickly disappeared.

No one noticed that a tiny black dot appeared and was darting through the air, a thousand meters above. In the sky above a thousand meters.

The sun had completely set!

A big mosquito, with its wings spread out, its body a black silhouette in the gradually dimming night sky, barely visible.

After a long journey, Jia Yan made it to the Wa Kingdom’s territories, about ten hours later!

The sea-crossing flight along the way was filled with thrills, especially the battle with the military plane in Duan, which posed a great risk to Jia Yan’s life!

But fortunately, after overcoming so many risks, he finally arrived at his destination!

Another two thousand kilometers long flight, and a sea-crossing at that, was sure to be another memorable achievement for Jia Yan!

I hope that these two assassins didn’t die before I got here!

Jia Yan observed from high altitude.

His wings were not beating too much, he was just gliding and circling on the sea breeze.

Like a hunting hawk, his eyes were sharp!

Plus, this kind of flight made almost no noise, he only needed to flap his wings when it was time to descend.

“There are so many people below, and there are…

so-called Self-Defense Force armored vehicles!

They’ve actually been flipped over and blasted!”

Jia Yan saw the shocking scene below at a glance.

He had seen the previous scene from afar.

A burst of flame exploding, it would be hard not to notice!

So, he knew at a glance that the place he was looking for was here.

His excellent post-mutation vision enabled him to directly see the battling parties below were a joint team of police and self-defense forces, and the other side was five or six masked men hiding behind a cover!

Jia Yan wouldn’t be rash enough to go down, he was analyzing in his mind!

“Those five or six guys, they are very tactically competent, I think they’re a major cut above the police and self-defense forces on the other side.

Such experts wouldn’t just show up out of the blue, they must be the mercenaries that those two assassins told me about!

So they are the ones who shot my dad…”

Thinking of this, the look in Jia Yan’s eyes towards the masked people became somewhat chilling!

However, he didn’t impulsively fly down but continued to observe.

Soon, he saw three masked men not far from the beach below, carrying guns and looking for something!

This was enough for Jia Yan to make a judgement.

“These people obviously haven’t killed those two assassins yet, otherwise, they wouldn’t be looking here, nor would they be going toe-to-toe with the police and self-defense forces.

So, it means I’m not too late!”

Jia Yan’s compound eyes lit up.

Then, he looked at the distant horizon, the afterglow of the sunset, already disappeared…

The moonless night seemed cold, without a hint of natural light.

But this suited Jia Yan’s actions!

He quietly stretched out his body and gradually descended toward the ground…
