Among the two men, one was a young man in glasses.

This man had an injured arm, and the glasses he wore on the bridge of his nose had cracked on one side.

His carefully parted hair hung messily from his head, his image greatly tarnished!

The other man sported a beard on his face!

He had a gunshot wound to the leg, and his complexion was pale.

Even though he looked burly, he was somewhat hunched over, obviously in extreme pain.

“Do you think the senior will come?” the bearded man huffed.

“If I say he won’t come, would you go send yourself to die?!

Go on, it’d buy me some time to escape!” The young man wearing glasses sneered, full of mockery.

“Screw you!

I mean it, if the senior doesn’t come, we might not escape this time!

These bastards are ruthless, they’re even willing to battle against the police of the Wa Kingdom to hunt us down, they’re out of their minds!” The bearded man couldn’t understand.

The young man in glasses fell silent for a moment, then said: “I actually heard from the organization that this Yu Long once got his hands on a powerful drug from a mysterious underground medical organization.

This drug is the latest model, many strong-willed people can’t bear it.

I guess his mercenary buddies were controlled by this drug, they had to work for him whether they liked it or not.”

“How could there be such powerful drugs?” The bearded man exclaimed incredulously.

“Maybe the drug isn’t that all-powerful, but the mentality of mercenaries isn’t normal to begin with!

Like you and me, do you think we’re normal?

We kill for a bit of money, and they kill for a bit of drug, they get to relive their pre-retirement life, isn’t it very delightful?”

The young man with glasses sighed with a self-mocking cold smile!

The bearded man fell silent.

What the young man said was right, those ex-mercenaries excluding Yu Long, may not be because of the drugs, but their mental state.

Like himself if he could not continue this job as an assassin, he may not be willing to live an ordinary life.

Generally speaking, both types of people are not normal.

If there really was a God, he would surely strike them all into hell with a thunderbolt.

But there is no God!

So, these people continue to live and rob others of their lives.

“Perhaps we all deserve to die.” After a long silence, the bearded man finally added.

The gaze of the young man in glasses solidified, he looked at his long term partner, opened his mouth, but couldn’t say a word.

“Alright, don’t pull that long face, even though I said so, but real death is impossible!

Just wait, the senior will be here soon.

Even if we are to die, we have to see what this senior has up his sleeves before we go, otherwise it feels like we are being played around, it’s irritating!”

The bearded man burst out laughing.

“They’re here!”

Just when the bearded man was laughing, the young man in glasses turned pale, and struggled to stand up from the ground.

The bearded man’s expression also changed, and he too stood up from the ground.

Another fierce battle is about to begin!

Who knows if these two could wait for Jia Yan, who needs at least ten hours to get here!

At the sea, Jia Yan finally made all preparations.

Without much rest or delay, he was about to start his second long-haul rush!

“The pig blood I just ate has replenished some of the energy in my body.

Moreover, this body is incredibly strong due to the mutation!

Most of my fatigue was relieved after a short rest, so I am in a fairly good condition now!”

Although Jia Yan was a bit worried about whether he could withstand two consecutive long-haul flights, he felt that he still had a lot of stamina!

He was also quite energetic, so he reckoned that there would be a good chance of sprinting across the sea this time!

At least he wouldn’t fall into the sea.

He was considering whether or not to bring his laptop.

After all, the thing was heavy, and carrying it for a long time would be inconvenient and uncomfortable.

“I should bring it, it would be more convenient if I have a computer.

The problem is, I don’t know if the data plan that the assassins set up for me can still be used abroad.”

If it is not possible to access the internet abroad, there would be no point in bringing these devices.

But Jia Yan could not be sure, he could only test it when he got there.

If he can’t access the internet, he would be like a blind man in the territory of the Wa Kingdom, basically unable to access any information!

Because he did not understand Japanese language or text, he would not be able to take advantage of human wisdom at that time.

“Don’t think too much!

Did I have a computer at the very beginning?

I still made it to where I am now!”

Jia Yan shook his head, telling himself not to overthink.

Then he slowly crawled out of his temporary hiding spot.

This was a hill near the seashore.

Across from Big Mosquito was the boundless vast ocean!

The sea breeze was gently blowing, a faint salty taste could be sensed by Big Mosquito’s sensitive taste ‘antennae’, the rich maritime atmosphere was clearly conveyed to Big Mosquito.

In this planet, the sea occupies about seventy percent of the land surface, the grandeur of the sea is beyond comprehension unless one has seen it with their own eyes!

Buzz, buzz!!

Big Mosquito stares at the sea in front of him, his wings start to flap.

Droning!!

Then, his body takes off!

A body with a wingspan of two meters should be quite massive, but against the ocean, it seems as minute as dust.

Yet, this creature resolutely flies into the vast sea!

The view of the sky and sea stretching far beyond one’s sight is simply dazzling!

Flying in the sky with the sun pouring down on him, Jia Yan can barely tell sky from sea, everything is just a wash of blue!

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…

The sound of the subtle swaying of the sea resonates below, spanning miles of blue waves.

In a blink of an eye, Jia Yan sees the scenery of the land receding far behind him.

“Since I’ve started, there’s no point in regretting anything.

My ocean-cross flight journey begins now!”

Jia Yan stops looking back and furiously flaps his wings!

He begins to ascend!

It doesn’t take long before he reaches a critical point!

That’s the limit of a thousand meters that Jia Yan can currently ascend to!

The mosquito wobbles and bobbles, flying over the infinite sea.

Jia Yan insists on flying at a height of one thousand meters, there’s a reason for that!

The biggest reliance for this reason is the compound eyes Jia Yan possesses now!

As mentioned before, when Jia Yan’s compound eyes were a few centimeters in size, they were as good as a normal human’s.

But since then, they’ve gone through two more transformations!

After these two transformations, Jia Yan’s eyesight likewise underwent a tremendous enhancement!

At this point, his vision has far surpassed all humans.

With just a slight focus, he can see a person’s face from two kilometers away!

In the bright daylight at sea, sight distance isn’t too bad; he deliberately flies at a height of one thousand meters just so he could clearly see the scenery far away!

As long as he spots an island or something, he can immediately notice it and fly over to rest.

This assures Jia Yan both a break from his flight and navigation guidance!

These pair of compound eyes, capable of observing from great heights, are Jia Yan’s greatest reliance in crossing the strait!

“There’s a large island over there, it must be Taiwan!”

Shortly after his flight, Jia Yan spots a rather large patch of land!

Such a massive patch of land appearing opposite Fujian province could only be Taiwan, there’s no need to guess.

Having ascended to a thousand meters with Jia Yan’s current eyesight, he immediately spots indicative geographical locations.

Cheered up, he beats his wings and heads in that direction at high speed.

The first step is to locate Taiwan; following Taiwan’s geographical location, he can fly towards the northeast, and along the way, he’ll probably come across a few indicative islands!

Of course, along the way, there’ll be a large part without any indicative islands where he’ll have to carefully observe the position of the sun and fly accurately!

Otherwise, over the vast sea, if he ever deviates from the direction, it could be life-threatening.

Jia Yan has faith in his stamina to fly quite far, to the point of suspecting that with his endurance training, he could fly straight to the other side of the ocean, to the Stars and Stripes Country!

But encountering storms on the way would be dangerous!

So it’s essential to accurately discern the sea route and direction, it must not deviate too much.

Only then would it be possible to reach the Wa Kingdom!

This is a massive challenge, Jia Yan understands that, but hasn’t he come this far by bravely facing one challenge after another, and defeating them all?!

To him, this doesn’t seem too dangerous!

You must know that Jia Yan’s evolved body can extract energy from food at a frightening level!

If it’s just about flying, he estimates that he can fly non-stop for three whole days!

This is Jia Yan’s confidence!

With such prolonged flight stamina, worse comes to worst, if he strays off course, he can always land on some island with creatures and suck blood to rest, then continue flying!

The Earth is round, and he refuses to believe that with his speed and endurance, he could actually fly until he dies!
